This is a good book. This book has two stories. Both stories are about love. The man and woman in both stories have an instant attraction. They start dating. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

Florist Corryna Lawson and award-winning chef Colin Reynolds absolutely did *not* have a meet cute--she turned him down for a date, and shortly thereafter he had his restaurant sever ties with her business. (Coincidence? He says it is, but IDK...) But now the wedding of the century is coming to town, and they've both been asked to work it. Can they work together when their jobs are on the line?

Of course they can! Will they complicate things by starting a personal relationship too? Also yes ;)

As it will turn out, there is another *little* complication to come as well...which yes, gets underway *very* early on in the book, but neither Corryna nor Colin have even the tiniest inkling for ages. Or at least ages in romance novel time, anyway ;) TBH from the blurb I was expecting them to find out much earlier than they did, but IRL it makes sense that they don't right away (which happens all the time in another HQN line, but I digress...) so that actually worked pretty well. Colin's initial reaction felt a teensy bit OTT but he got over himself pretty quickly and we got the HEA that we (and they!) were looking for, so all's well that ends well.

I'm looking forward to reading more from this series!

This is the 3rd book in the Texas Cattleman's Club: The Wedding series, and though it definitely feels like it's part of a series, I didn't feel at all lost starting with this one.

With gratitude for the e-ARC, I have to say this romance was disappointing. Firstly, there is nothing in the descriptor or cover to let the reader know this is a novella. And contains another novella by an author I don't particularly enjoy. That being said, I did read the Booth novella and thought it had a strong, compelling first half. I liked the leads' banter and I enjoyed that they were mature people who had seen something of life. But, like most romance novellas, the second half whipped along with exposition rather than development. I thought Ms Booth's writing was competent and I might consider reading a full-length romance by her. Great cover, though.

Steamy TCC...

Four Weeks to Forever
Karen Booth gives us instant steamy when Colin and Corryna hook up in a power outage. They make plenty of sparks. He's a playboy chef, she's a flower shop owner who blew him off and he took it badly. But, Corryna ends up working a wedding with him but Colin still wants the hooking up.

Make Believe Match
Oliver is another playboy who only does one night stands and no strings sex.
Jessica does more commitment or at least a few dates first before tapping that.
There are cross over characters, like Colin and Corryna.

Recommend.

Four Weeks to Forever by Karen Booth, book three in the Texas Cattleman's Club: The Wedding series,
is an emotional story, as this couple argues and loves their way through some major issues and a looming deadline where both intend to shine for their parts behind the scenes, for the wedding of a Hollywood power couple, happening in Royal. This is an enemies to lovers story of two people who have a tense first encounter but who end up falling in love after getting to know each other and spending time together. Business rivals Corryna and Colin have a one night stand, however it's not until they start working together to secure the contract for a star-studded wedding in Royal, that they really start getting along; she florist and he a chef. They decide it would benefit both of them to get along while working together to bring a wonderful unforgettable meal and floral arrangements for the wedding. Learning their back stories helped make each of them more real, more likeable, and helped understand each other better. While spending time together they learn how to work together, like a well oiled machine, fall in love, and help each other work through things that have happened in their pasts; un-dealt with baggage. Allowing their hearts to get involved could lead to some complications neither expected.

Ms. Booth wrote an emotional, wonderful, heartwarming romance, full of complications, laughter, tears, steaminess, and a growing love between two people who altered their opinions of each other. There are family issues to be dealt with, and some groveling becomes necessary; but at the heart is a couple who needed to get beyond those hurdles that they tossed in front of each other. I highly recommend Four Weeks to Forever to other readers.

When the power goes out, florist Corryna stores her flowers in chef Colin's generator-powered refrigerator. They end up sharing a bed, thinking nothing will come of it once the lights come back on…until she discovers she's pregnant!

Corynna and Colin have a prickly relationship at first, even though the chemistry between them is strong from the start. I enjoyed the banter between them, and the way they reluctantly come together.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

4 1/2 STARS!

Fast paced and pleasurable! Karen Booth always delivers on drama and angst and with the third book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: The Wedding series, she hits paydirt with an attention grabbing couple and a sexy yet sweet trail towards happily ever after!

I enjoyed both Corryna and Colin right from the start and learning each of their back stories endeared them even more to my heart. I wanted to see a little more resolution with the storyline revolving around her ex, but overall I felt like their story was fairly complete and totally enjoyable.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who enjoys high profile characters with a lot going on in their lives as they stumble across love when they least expect it.

Business rivals Corryna and Colin have a one night stand, but it's when they start working together to secure the contract for a star-studded wedding that they really start getting along.

Sometimes your brain needs a break, and it's in that state of mind that one often turns to a Harlequin contemporary romance - certainly you're not often disappointed.

This is the third in a series of intertwined books surrounding a wedding, but each stands alone as well which was convenient for me as I dived into the book. This is a sweet, straight-forward story about a pair of people who, despite getting off to a tense start, end up falling in love. There was a lot to like about it - the low angst, the emphasis on camaraderie between lovers, and the way in which Corryna and Colin are very good at their jobs. There was also some unexpected plot points dealing with forgiveness for people who are not really sorry, which I found unexpectedly refreshing.

However, I thought the story got off to a rocky start - the way that Colin and Corryna are thrown together in the first few chapters felt kind of forced and out of the blue. That first encounter was more of a common Harlequin plot point than anything else, and it showed. I also had somewhat mixed feelings about the surprise pregnancy. While I thought the scenes surrounding it were well-written, its inclusion really felt more like ticking off another common Harlequin plot point that something that was necessary to move the plot along.

This is a Steamy Romance, and this is the third book in the Wedding series. The two main characters fit together so well, and I loved this love hate thing they had going on. I really enjoyed this book, and I enjoyed every second I spent reading it. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Desire) or author (Karen Booth) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is scheduled to be released on March 28-2023.
