As a former kindergarten teacher, I love the illustrations and language this book uses surrounding shapes. It takes abstract idea and gives them meaning for a younger brain. I would use this book in my 2D and 3D shapes unit to give a reference point for students.

This book is really beautiful. Teaching all about shapes but i think its a lesson in how all things come in different shapes and sizes too. ABSOLUTELY gorgeous illustrations.

I loved the shape analogies in this book! Some may fly over children's heads though. And I thought the illustrations were so unique and beautiful.

What a great way to introduce your child to the shapes that are all around us. The book even goes further to describe that things such as friendships even have a shape. A very unique way to describe it.

Bright illustrations show the shapes we can find all around us in the world as a child sees them simply as their basic shapes and how even things like friendship have a shape being the shape of the friend. Very sweet little book

What a fun way to I troduce and review shapes! Not your typical straightforward shape book and very pretty.

This is a lovely look at shapes around us and how things in our lives shape who we are. The illustrations are layered and bring about a 3-D quality to them that are just beautiful.

Thank you to NetGalley, and the Publisher for the eARC! I loved the artwork throughout the book- it gives a cool 3D feel and it very unique. A cute read for young readers about shapes around them and how some shapes can change.

The Shape Of You starts by covering the basic shapes and slowly evolves into describing the shapes of more figurative things.

The text is wonderfully thought provoking for a child, but the artwork is also so beautiful that I personally had to go through it multiple times just to look at all the details in the textures used.
