Considering that the target audience for this book is kindergartners, I'd say the book does a pretty good job of laying out in a very clear and concise manner what some of the primary human emotions are. Nothing too complex - just the way it needs to be. The examples given to explain these feelings are also very simple ones, easy for young children to understand.

a great resource for the elementary school. Introductory book for kindergartens, showing emotions and how you can sooth hurt, calm your feelings, and feel brave.

Sunny Bunnies: My Book of Feelings offers engaging illustrations. The color schematic throughout the book is attractive for Children. I wonder, as other reviewers have pointed out, if the writing could include more rhyming or attention grabbing explanations of the individual feelings. Very young children may be unlikely to keep attention with current writing style.

Overall, I think this is an excellent option for Parents or Caregivers looking to help Pre-k to early Elementary aged children learn about emotions. It’s a great option to provide these Adults with fun exercises to try 1:1.

I think this is okay, I wish it either was told as a story or used rhyming to keep a child engaged. It’s a very technical explanation of emotions which is good, I just do not fully see the kids I know being very engaged with this. I did really like the tips at the end that provided coping mechanisms for handling emotions - I think that’s a great skill for kids.
