The Couples Trip shifts between past and present, with a well-paced and intriguing plot making for a captivating read. The grand settings and interesting characters add depth and dimension to the story, while the razor-sharp portrayal captures both the details and larger contexts of the narrative.

I really enjoyed this atmospheric, snowy, isolated thriller! I have always enjoyed reading thriller books set in foreign countries, and this one is set in Sweden and centers around a group of friends that set out on a hiking trip together, only soon they start to question how well they really know one another, and whom they can really trust. This was a quick read for me, as I really enjoyed the authors writing style, the characters, and the plot. Although much of this book is pretty predictable, the ending surprised me and left me feeling satisfied with this one!

I will say that although this was a quick read for me, it was LONG at 400 pages and I feel as though it could have been shortened by a lot. Also, I believe that this book is translated from Swedish so some of the sentence structure and grammar is a bit weird and put me off a bit.

If you enjoy atmospheric, isolated suspenseful thrillers then you definitely should pick this one up!

I didnโt know what to expect and I wasnโt sure I would like reading about hiking in Sweden but this book was excellent! I loved how nature is the overarching villain in this story. I found this book easy to read with entertaining characters and the ending surprised meโฆ I highly recommend this book!
I really enjoyed this book! I would give it 4.5 stars. It was a fun read and I enjoyed the alternating perspectives of the recollection and the interview. I felt that the ending could have been expanded upon, but I still found it satisfying enough.
There were a lot of formatting issues in my copy (hopefully was due to my device?), but they didnโt make it unreadable. I also was not the biggest fan of some of the sentence structures, but again, they did not make it unreadable or unenjoyable.
Such a good read - I really enjoyed this book. I'm so glad that I got the chance to read it early and will definitely be recommending it to multiple people who enjoy these types of novels. I enjoyed the characters and especially enjoyed the writing by this author. I'm excited to see what the author comes out with next as I'll definitely be reading it! Thank you to the publisher for my early copy of this book!
โ๏ธThis was a fun and super fast read that I couldn't put down. Reading it during a big snowfall made it even more fun and atmospheric.
โ๏ธAnna and Henrik are preparing for their annual hiking trip with their friend Milena, but this time she asks if she can bring her new boyfriend Jacob along. With a new addition, a new route and terrible weather, the friends face challenge after challenge and start to question how well they really know each other.
โ๏ธWhile this was a fast read, I do think it could have been shortened up a little in the middle. I was happily surprised with the ending and I'm still second guessing everything ๐๐
โ๏ธSomeone needs to read this so I can discuss the ending!! Please!!

I love an atmospheric thriller! I didnโt want to put this one down and by the end I was second guessing everything I thought I knew.
Placeholder. Will update when the Harper Collins union new contract is finalized. Thank you again to the publisher for the copy.
