I wanted to like this book more than I did. Love the cover and synopsis, but overall, I found the writing to be difficult to engage with and the pace to be slower than what I am used to. Overall, I enjoyed this book and appreciate the opportunity to read it. It had an interesting plot and a good read although I did find the pace to be a bit slow at times. I like thrillers that keep me up way past my bedtime and unfortunately, this just wasn’t it for me.

Wanted to like this more. The wording was confusing at times, made for a story I couldn't get into like
