This one becomes personal for Lucy. Her hair is found at a murder scene and she is fighting to prove it wasn’t her in addition to protecting all she has done from being found out. She spends her time wondering if this is her karma for her other murders.

Again, I must mention this is a little darker than your normal crime series, but I have really liked getting to know Lucy and her Dexter like character. She doesn’t kill for the pleasure or for sport, but to get justice where the normal channels cannot. It raises an interesting question as I keep reading this series. Is this wrong and where is that line? Is she a champion for those victims or does she belong in jail?

I like Lucy’s relationships with the supporting characters in the book. The sons of the lady she is hunting throughout the series. One of those sons being a police officer. How she is always trying to balance keeping her secrets. Which becomes increasingly difficult as she is investigated for this murder.

This twist that makes Lucy the one being investigated kept me on the edge of my seat.

Looked forward to reading this book but found it hard to plough through. Could have been a great read but just not for me.
Many thanx to NetGalley, the author and the publishers for allowing me to read and review this book

"Little Lost Souls (A Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller Book 2)" by Stacy Green is a heart-pounding and suspenseful crime thriller that'll have you at the edge of your seat as the protagonist delves into the dark and twisted world of crime.

Overall I think I enjoyed this more than the first one, and the commitment to the cause for the main character continues to come across strongly in the book. I think I actually prefer the secondary characters in the book to the main character, and they add a lot to the books.

It is the main character that holds me back from really enjoying this series. Whatever the reason her brand of vigilantism just doesn’t really was with me., and as a result I can’t really buy into her. That said it doesn’t stop me from enjoying the books, and I will continue the series at some point as I want to see how the main issue in the books is resolved and whether we see a different approach from Lucy.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Like the first book, I struggled with the main female character (Lucy). I don’t generally like vigilantes and she is so righteous. The second half of the book makes me give this book 3.5 stars. The plot becomes more complex, more intriguing, and more twisty. Lucy also slowly starts to become more tolerable. The side characters also continue to be assets to the story. The last half of the boom made me jump straight into the next one.

Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the chance to read Little lost souls by Stacy Green. This is the 2nd book in the Lucy Kendall series (previously published as See them run, published in 2014.) and I started it immediately after finishing the 1st book. Lucy continues her quest, and now is going after a child trafficking ring. She goes undercover as a receptionist in a salon that is connected to the ring. When the owner is murdered, Lucy' becomes the prime suspect. Now she must not only break up the child trafficking ring, she must also clear her name. The characters from the first book are back, and the chemistry between them is fantastic! I am looking forward to starting book 3!!!

Well... Now... I was a little worried for Lucy I thought she'd got so sucked in she was in trouble! But my God, was not expecting it to be the person it was! Holy cow....
Little sad for Riley, this series is showing my mixed feels for characters that is so askew!
But damn that ending! Definitely off for the next book!!

Little Lost Souls by Stacy Green is a book that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good read. While the pacing can be a bit slow in places, the overall quality of the story more than makes up for it. The unexpected villain is a highlight of the book, and adds an extra layer of tension and excitement to an already great plot.
The characters are well-written and engaging, and the twists and turns keep the reader guessing until the very end. Even during the slower parts, the author's writing style is strong enough to keep the reader invested and interested in what's happening.
Overall, I think Little Lost Souls is a great way to spend a rainy day. Despite its slow moments, the book is well worth the read for anyone who enjoys a good mystery with plenty of surprises along the way. I would highly recommend giving it a chance.

Our second meeting with Lucy Kendall powerfully expands her on background and motives developed in the first book. Seeing how she deals with her internal struggles and works to better herself and the world around her makes the reader question how far they would good for what they felt was right.

It was also nice to see how her relationships with the other characters developed as they dealt with their struggles with who she is.

I love Stacey Green's Nikki Hunt series so was very excited to read the Lucy Kendall thrillers , all 4 were released together and it probably took me less than a week to read all 4 .
Lucy is not our typical heroine , she operates from a deep dark past and feels obliged to meet out vigilante justice to those she believes deserve it , this doesn't always keep her on the right side of the law , but she has a good support system that just about keep her grounded . Fascinating routing for an anti hero , well written , well paced and I really hope there are more .............. This has a film/TV adaption written all over it
