Holy smokes what an incredible read! This series is no holds barred, a deep dive into the depravity of human kind. I could not put this down. Twists and turns that keep you up way too late and run through your mind long after the last jaw dropping page. This book was phenomenal. A rollercoaster of stomach clenching, breath stealing insanity. Absolutely a must must must read!
Another gripping thriller in the Lucy Kendall series. The first one was great, Little Lost Souls was even better! I was up late in the night just too see what happens. And an ending I didn't see coming. Off to read Gone to Die!

This is the second book in the Lucy Kendall Detective Series. Whilst it could be read as a stand-alone novel, it’s best read in sequence after the first book in the series, given that it references storyline from the first book.
The ongoing story arc is an uncomfortable one, specifically about trafficked children and the predators that prey on them. If you like Dexter Morgan’s brand of justice then you’ll probably like Lucy Kendall’s methods.
Since I guessed the involvement of one of the main characters relatively early in the story, it lost half a star for me. But the story was well paced and I finished it in one sitting, so I’m most definitely intending on reading the rest of the series.
Thank you to the Author, Publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and give an unbiased review of an ARC.
I can easily say that the author has quickly become one kf my.favourates after discovering this series! This is set immediately after the qst book in the series which I loved. There's no 6 month time jump, it's literally like it's all just one massive book rather than a series. Lucy just becomes even more and more amazing and conflicted. She is such an amazing main charter and the rest of the characters are equally well written and unique. This isn't a book where we all get aling n everything works out perfectly, it is quite dark in parts and highlights such a dark topic and the struggles of law enforcement to do anything about it all. Its fast paced, it absolutely keeps you guessing and has so many twists and turns that you just can't put it down. On to part 3.....
Lucy Kendall is a woman on a mission to find out who is in charge of a sex trafficking ring. She goes undercover at a salon to try and gather more details and blackmails her boss. Her boss ends up getting killed and now Lucy is suspected of murder. Someone is trying to frame her but she doesn’t know who?
Lucy tells herself she is doing it all for the children. She knows how to lie and manipulate people to get what she wants. Lucy has one twisted morale compass but I can’t get enough of her vigilante justice.
I love Lucy and can’t help but cheer for her as she takes out each bad person. The ending shocked me Now, I can’t get the next book fast enough to see what happens next.
Little Lost Souls take time right after last case in first book. As I said this series hooked me and I cant put this down. This story will bring spoilers to readers who not yet read first book but also provide some background stories for readers who want start from this installment.
This time Lucy decide to take the investigation into bigger cases, trafficking and children prostitution. Another delicate theme that need handle very carefully. Although I am well prepared, some scenes still shocked and distraught me. The writing still amazing, the pace of the investigation little bit slower than the previous one. The plotline not as tight as the first one. Some facts feel not make sense but the story still intriguing enough into the end. The twist and turn little bit predictable in this one. I am glad saw some developments in characters area, especially Lucy. Her character is deeper. I can feel her distress and struggles to understand her urges. The romantic potential are there but I am glad so far the author make all relationships become platonic one.
This book is perfect for reader who love good crime investigation with imperfect characters who trying their best to protect the kids from any sexual predators.
Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for provided me the copy. I am enjoyed my read and my thoughts are my own.
Lucy is such an interesting character. She falls in the grey category of being a good or bad person. She lies without batting an eye. The people in her inner circle that knows what she’s doing are torn. There are a lot of moving parts to this book. It’s a roller coaster ride of twists and turns. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
The second Lucy Kendall books finds the PI investigating a spa that is a front for a child trafficking ring. When the owner of the spa ends up dead and a long red hair is found on her body, Lucy falls under suspicion. She must investigate more to clear her name and put an end to this operation.
another great thriller. I found the first one a bit more captivating, but this one still is a page turner. Our protagonist becomes even more morally ambivalent and we get more progress with the lurking evil.
I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Started reading book 2 straight after finishing book 1. Overall, I really enjoyed this dark, chilling, well-plotted story. It was intense and fast paced and I raced through this in a few hours, frantically turning the pages, desperate to find out how it was all going to be resolved. Now ready to continue this series with book 3!
Wow! Buckle up for the second adventure in the Lucy series.
Lucy continues her work against child abusers, she has to go into some very dark places while trying not to let it consume her.
This is the second book in the series by one of my favorite authors … I suggest you read the first one to get the full experience
Lucy is continuing her campaign against child traffickers. There isn’t anything she won’t do. This book starts out fast and just keeps building on the suspense. This is a very good psychological thriller. It is the 2nd book in a series and I would suggest you read the 1st book. It will give you insights into Lucy and it is well worth the time to read. This author is now on my must read list. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
thank you to netgalley for allowing me to read this before its official release in exchange for an honest review.
this is only the second book by stacy green that ive read but im already convinced that she is a genius!! i read this book (the second book in the lucy kendall series - btw the first book is just as good if not better) in less than 3 hours and ive already started on the third book!!
it takes a truly brilliant author to write a story that is so detailed and interesting and completely captivates you. there are so many twists and turns and little clues that build up throughout the book and eventually lead to a heart pounding ending that leaves you BEGGING to read more.
i love this book, i love this series, i love this author.
5 stars!!!!!!!
Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the copy of Little Lost Souls. This is book two in the Lucy Kendall series, and the first one I have read. I’m reading book one now, and you probably want to read it first because it really sets up the characters in this book. Lucy is such a surprising and interesting character I couldn’t wait to find out what she would do next, but if I had known the type of crimes she focused on I probably would never have started reading the series.I already have the other books in the series so I will go ahead and read them though. The fast-paced story doesn’t let up but is harrowing at times. I read a lot of thrillers, so the perpetrator wasn’t a huge shock to me, but there were other surprises.
Mystery and intrigue…characters come alive on the pages of this book. Talented and gifted author…secrets…taking law into own hands…this series consists of books that cannot be put down…this book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Enjoy.
The storyline is excellent with a fast moving plot. The characters are interesting and well described. Would recommend
Thank you to Stacy Green, NetGalley and Bookouture for the arc of this book.
Great book! I can't wait to read the rest of this series!! So far I'm loving it! This is the second book in this series and still just as great as the first one! This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, serial killer, a great who done it and great police work! I highly recommend reading this book and series! So far its well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me! And A big thank you for introducing me to a new to me author!! can't wait for more!
In this second installation of the Lucy Kendall Crime Thriller series, we find Lucy on the run from justice herself after being implicated in a crime. This story picks up with the same fast-paced energy as the first book and kept me hooked throughout. I need a little more romance or spice to come onto the scene with her and Chris though.
