This book has a good premise of a happily married couple story. Merrit and Elliott were married for 10 years with children. Enter in the picture Peter from Merrit past. It's a story of reacquainted love between Merrit and Peter and of sexual discovery between Elliott and Peter. There are sex scene a plenty here. I'm only giving it a 3 🌟 because I didn't wanted Peter to stick around. I would I loved for the 3 of them to have their fun but for Merrit and Elliott to go back together. They were happily married for 10 years. It just didn't make sense to me.

Risqué menage a trois...
Elliott loves his wife, Merritt. Married for a decade, they have come to truly love each other.
But Elliott has a special birthday present for his wife...her former love, playwright, Peter. Jess Michaels shines in this new series that push the boundaries and is a bit more steamy, while still develpoing their character and emotional development.
Recommend.
Their Marchioness by Jess Michaels
Theirs #1
Exquisite, exciting, exultant coming together of three people perfect for and with one another – This is a steamy story with lusty lovers that sizzles – what a wonderful love story!
What I liked:
* Elliot: marquess, strong, upright, conforms to expectations, devoted to his wife, supportive, caring, keeps his emotions close, intense, giving, reserves part of himself, curious, will be giving his wife an extraordinary 30th birthday gift
* Merritt: marchioness, married for ten years, has grown to love her husband deeply, mother of three children she adores, sensual, caring, feels Elliot is keeping part of himself from her, wants to set him free, surprised by the gift Elliot gives to her
* Peter: Merritt’s first love interest, celebrated playwright, a bit of a hedonist, popular, has Elliot as his patron, knows himself well, and is surprised by the invitation extended to him by Elliot, assertive, aware, intriguing
* The strong connection that develops between the above three
* The sizzling scenes and the empathy and caring that are included with the pleasure
* The way it all works out at the end
What I didn’t like:
* Knowing that the parents of all three characters were more interested in their persons than in the wellbeing and happiness of their children
Did I like this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Definitely
Thank you to the NetGalley and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Merritt has been happily married to Elliot, the Marquess of Egerton, with children for 10 years, during which they have enjoyed sexual explorations at home, at clubs, and masquerades. For her 30th birthday, Elliot surprises her with a week alone at a secluded cottage to enjoy each other's company and play in bed. But the real surprise is that Elliot has invited for the week Merritt's first lover and the man who she was forced to leave behind to marry a man of higher status, Peter. Elliot has been a patron of Peter's playwright career for many years with this knowledge, and something more may be discovered between all three of them during their week together.
This was a great fast-paced, fantastically spicy, MMF menage novella. I read this over the weekend easily. The bedroom scenes were great, not only hot and plentiful but also showing a lot of character and growth at the same time. Merritt and Peter were fleshed out well, but Elliot really took the spotlight. He had a lot of opportunity for growth with his backstory, and also his personality drove a lot of the story progression. I loved the ending, but I can't spoil it, so that's all I'll say!
Overall it was a fun, quick, cozy read that I'd totally recommend for an erotic MMF novella.
This title releases on January 10, 2023!
I am thankful for receiving an advanced copy to read and review with my honest opinion.
Jess writes erotic romance really well. This short story is sexy and smoldering. Get out the fans, you will need it. There isn’t much to the story but the story of Elliott is very good. If you want a quick, hot read pick up this book.
In the book “Their Marchioness” Elliot the marquess, decided to surprise his wife Merritt for her birthday. He took her to a lovely cottage in the woods. She was thrilled thinking it would be a time for the two of them to connect and enjoy themselves. But, Elliot decided to invite Peter, Merritt’s first love interest. Both Merritt and Peter are shocked to see each other and then completely stunned when Elliot announces that Peter is there so that they can satisfy Merritt’s desire to be with two men. Merritt and Peter quickly agree to this threesome. However, it is soon apparent that there are some other things going on. Will their marriage survive this week of uninhibited sexual encounters? Will Merritt be able to say goodbye to Peter again after this week? This book is riveting, I read it in one day. Only Jess Michaels can write a book that keeps you engaged and enthralled by the characters and their actions. By the way, this book is extremely hot, there are many steamy sexy scenes. This is a fantastic book. I loved it!

It is hard to find a really sexy historical MMF, but Jess Michaels delivers.
This book is super sexy and full of longing that finally pays off.
It’s a house party for three with the servants dismissed for the Marchionesses birthday. Her husband surprises her with her first love. He was driven from her life because he was of a lower station and her father was a terrible person.
Jess Michaels can always be relied on for a thoroughly entertaining romance read; this time, there’s a triad twist on her latest series. I really enjoyed the established nature of the married couple here — they’ve been married for over a decade and solid in their partnership, which grounds the romance in a nice way. Of course, reuniting his wife with the one that got away is the marquess’s idea of a birthday surprise, but it turns out there are plenty of feelings to go around. A little more steam than previous offerings I’ve read too, which wasn’t a bad thing in the slightest! Really looking forward to the other upcoming books in this trilogy.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This book reminds me of some of the first Jess Michael’s books I have read. The ones there were a little bit heavier in sex scenes but also had a surprising blend of emotion and characters finding their sexuality. I really enjoyed this book and how these characters were hesitant but came together very intimately and again, surprisingly emotionally. I love the characters that are expected to be something but explore their passions and find who they want to be and others to love along the way.
The sex scenes were spicy, hot and delicious, not that I expected anything less.
Can’t wait for the next book and if you enjoyed this book I would check out Introduction to Pleasure or Everything Forbidden. These books are a little lengthier and still explore sexuality and society expectations. Love the romances!

Marquess of Egerton is familiar with his wife’s past. Therefore he wants to make her happy by inviting Peter to their weekend retreat for her birthday.
Both of them still have lingering feelings for each other so they are both skeptical but they soon surrender all three to a week of scorching pleasure.
I have read many books that include threesomes but I think that’s the first historical book that also includes MM and MMF scenes and not just classic MFM. Elliot didn’t want to admit he also has feelings for Peter and wants him too but Peter and Merritt both showed him love has various shades.
I know that with this author I’ll have a great short read full of delicious hotness. However, my reason why I gave it 3 stars is personal – some scenes were a little icky (from anal sex to vaginal sex in a minute), and there were a lot of sex scenes and not enough plot (the main drama was soon resolved). Like I said, I’ve read a lot of menage books that included all sorts of things and I know many historical romances do include protection and some don’t but not cleaning after having anal sex and just continuing is more of an ick factor for me. All in all, the book was great, the writing pulls you in and I wish the book was longer so I could enjoy the characters more.
3 stars.

Wow, you need to set aside some quiet time when you will not be disturbed cause this book might set your sheets on fire.
Elliott, Marquess of Egerton, wants to give his wife an unforgettable birthday. In order to do so, he brings back someone from her past. And in doing so will shape all their future. Merritt is in for a birthday she will never forget.
Absolutely loved this story. Merritt and Elliot are perfect together, in love with each other and married. What more could you ask for, but when you add Peter to their lives things reach a level none of them anticipated. All three individuals are strong willed but at the same time sensitive to each others needs. This is an excellent story, extremely well written and very entertaining. It is definitely a story worth reading and one I would highly recommend.
I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley and are voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a very steamy story!! Husband and wife celebrating her birthday with a very surprising present for her. Lots of ups and downs trying to figure out their feelings. But a happy ending none the less. Great story!
Their Marchioness is a lovely steamy romance with first loves and an established marriage. Super spicy like all of Jess Michael's books. I cannot recommend it enough.
I'm pretty sure this was my first ever Jess Michaels book but it definitely won't be my last. Their Marchioness is the first book in the Theirs series by Michaels and I look forward to more in this series.
This installment has our main characters, Elliot and Merritt, hitting their ten year anniversary and while they have had a great marriage, Elliot knows his wife was torn from her first love, Peter. For Merritt's birthday, he wants to do something special for her and that something special includes bringing Peter with them on a getaway.
I thought it was interesting the way Michaels set the story up. Neither Elliot or Merritt are unhappy in their marriage. They love each other and are highly respected in the Ton but because of the way they came together, Elliot knows there are some unresolved feelings between Merritt and Peter. Add to that the feelings he has when Peter is around (I didn't mention it but Elliott and Peter do know each other pretty well) and this becomes an opportunity Elliott doesn't want to pass up.
If you're looking for a historical romance with a bit of steam, I recommend picking this one up.
This book is pure, delicious, pornography. The emotional story is there and compelling, of course, Jess Michaels does nothing by halves, but this book is just full of all the dirty details I was hoping for. It is light and short. I read it in about an hour and a half one Sunday morning before the family woke up. I am delighted about this new series. This book is excellent. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.
Not a bad read. Definitely a chance from Jess's pace with adding another spice level to things. But it didn't feel like much of a story at times and just all about sex. Still enjoyable read. I liked the characters and their background.
Hot Hot Hot! Yes three times the hotness. I enjoyed reading this book so much, I couldn't put it down. Talk about only in my fantasy's.
If you enjoy MMF romances this book is for you. I most liked the drama created by Elliot’s eventual acceptance of his attraction for Peter, it was believable and made for interesting dynamics. 4 stars.
Historical romance, Regency England. Book 1 of the Theirs series. A marquess plans a birthday treat for his wife of ten years. When they go to a cottage for the week, he invites the man that she was in love with as a young lady to join them in the bedroom. While the marchioness gets to live out her fantasies of enjoying the intimate attentions of both men, the marquess gives into his own desires for the other man as well. There’s not much in this book plot-wise, it’s mainly about the physical and emotional relationships between these three people and the stodgy marquess dealing with his own repressed emotions.
