I have mixed feelings about this book, but it’s still definitely worth a read. Firstly, I want to praise the pacing. It kept me on the edge of my seat and intrigued at the end of every chapter. The writing also created an eerie and disturbing atmosphere that was so perfect for the story. My issues mainly come from the characters and the multiple points of view. I struggled to separate each character as they didn’t feel developed enough. Although this made it hard for me to stay engaged for the entire book, the plot and writing made up for it. I’ll definitely check out more from the author in the future.

This book is full of twists and turns which makes you question everything as the story goes. I was hooked into the story very easily!

The story is told in multiple POVs which really help the readers get insight of how the plot progresses; from the police side, the main character side and also the villain.
Easy to read writing style, well pacing and the short chapters enable me to read this book in just one day cause it was so hard to put down!

There are so many twists throughout this story, some of them really caught me off guard a couple times because it was totally unexpected.
Every character in this story is very suspicious except maybe for the police. It was hard to know whose POV you can trust but that’s what make this book a good one!

Overall, this is a well written story – highly enjoyable, entertaining and recommended!
If you’re looking for a quick psychological thriller with a small town setting then I suggest picking this one up.
I’m looking forward to read more books by this author in the future!

Last Known Location. Amazing. Simply an amazing ending. Gwen, girl you are wicked. I can not wait for Noah’s next story. Wow.
The writer did a phenomenal job with holding out some much. The story coaxed the reader of coming to their conclusion, only to get hit with the writer dropping multiple bombs of the real truth in the end. I was absolutely in shocked. I had a mouth drop. My reaction was only to laugh, because I so did not expect that ending.
The writer did a wonderful job of entertaining with a darn good who done it story. This was a one sitting read for me. I give this story two snaps and a, “ Adam in some ways you were smart. Run man! Run. “ Until next time my fellow readers. Read on! I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I thought I was able to predict the end but I was very surprised at how wrong I was. Definitely a page turner. The story was told by three different views. I loved each of the characters. Definitely a good psychological thriller read.

This was a good thriller, but Gwen drove me crazy! She made some incredibly stupid decisions, and I was silently screaming at her several times during this read.

Last known location was a quick read and altogether a great book.
Gwen has a hard time moving past a relationship with her ex-Adam. He seems to be everywhere she seems to be, which is likely given their field of work and the small town that they live in. Gwen meets Noah, a mysterious guy one night while camping out on the Appalachian trail, then again, a few nights later while on her shift in the emergency room. Gwen feels obligated and fascinated with her new friend Noah who suffers from amnesia and secretly hopes for more as she gives him a place to stay and helps during his recovery.
Mystery surrounds Noah’s accident when another body is found on the trail, and an unfamiliar face shows up claiming to be in close relation to Noah.
I have to say I was actually surprised by the ending and look forward to future work from this author.

Gwen’s life has turned into a nightmare after an ongoing feud with her neighbor turns volatile. It's brilliant. It is well written, with a good plot and the characters are credible with plenty of twists and turns

This was kinda different. I always root for the underdog but I may not have if ….nope, read it yourself. Last Known Location was a wonderfully, dark read & I certainly enjoyed it. I may have been thinking “Catherine McKenzie” when I saw Eva McKenzie but I’m glad I made the “mistake”. This was a realistic, suspenseful, read, mostly. And it was an enjoyable read, all of it😁

This fell flat for me. I could not make it past 100 pages and was bored out of my mind. I was hoping for more. But this ended up on the DNF Pile

Where do I begin?

This is a really popular new release that is getting pretty great reviews. Obviously they hype made me want to move this to the top of my reading list. I love a good thriller and this one had all the makings to be absolutely great!

This read did have a great pace. Starting with a crazy scene and then moving quickly to a secondary crazy scene, I was rubbing my hands together in excitement.

As the story moved on and it was clear that stalking was involved, I was curious as to why she wouldn’t report anything to the police but instead, would respond back directly to the stalker. Being a smart character, this didn’t make sense.

Then with how quickly she falls in love with the new memory loss patient, not being cautious at all with a stranger? A stranger that could have killed someone? Things like this made me roll my eyes quite a few times throughout the story.

Overall, the events were a bit on the far reaching side, which can be sometimes hard to swallow. The ending was really good though and I guess the overall effect was an ok read for me.

If She Only Knew was a fantastic book, so I was really excited to receive a NetGalley arc of this one to read and review. This one also had a great story line, however I do feel it was a bit harder to follow as there were a lot of characters. I found myself having to go back and re read sections of this book. Still adore Eva MacKenzie and her writing style, this one just wasn’t a hit for me! Looking forward to the next one!

I struggled with this book. The plot is thrilling, and intriguing, some twists calculated, others arriving without announcement. I did struggle with the time split. It isn't indicated and the timeline is so close that initially, I thought I had missed a chapter or had missed that there were two main characters. Additionally, some of the decisions made by the main character made me scream, not from anguish but from the sheer stupidity of the moves. I would discuss the precise decisions, but spoilers. Besides these issues, its a solid book. Not one I would reread but a solid escape once you figure it out.

PLEASE CHECK TRIGGER WARNING PRIOR TO READING.

The book follows main character Gwen, and ER nurse, who in the middle of the abusive mind games with her ex-boyfriend. All the while, Gwen stumbles upon handsome hiker Noah while out on the hiking trails. After a catastrophic accident out in the woods, Noah ends up with memory loss and is admitted to the hospital as a patient of Gwen's. Trying to keep her distance but begins to realize that someone has been watching her all along.

This book is the first I have ever read by this author and it was a good starter read. My criticism would be that there are simply too many characters. Reading this straight through, I had a hard time keeping up with who was who. If I would have put this book down and come back to it, I wouldn't remember any of the character development. I like that the author tackled the topic of stalking, as it is rarely the basis of many thriller novels out there, at least ones that I have read. Having the novel on the basis of stalking put me more on the edge of my seat as I was reading.
