Another absolute binge worthy read by Kennedy! After the cliffhanger ending of Misfit I couldn’t wait for Casey and Fenn’s story. Oh my, It did NOT disappoint.

WOW! I am loving this addicting series! It’s unique, and I wasn’t sure what to expect but I literally cannot get enough. I love the high school drama, the characters (excited for more of Lawson and Silas) and the sprinkle of mystery we get in Rogue trying to figure out what really happened to Casey on prom night.

“But I’ve decided to embrace the bad bitch inside and go rogue.”

After a near fatal accident Casey is taking back control of her life. With her family, her friends, and most of herself. I loved watching her growth and seeing her come alive. She's found a safe harbor in her budding relationship with Sandover's golden boy, Fenn Bishop…or so she thinks. Sandover's golden boy has a huge secret. One that just might cause him to lose her for good.

I know multiple POV's can sometimes feel chaotic, but I loved them. They're so well done and added so much to the story.

And that ending! 🤯 I cannot wait to see where this series goes! I need book 3 like right now.

I loved the multiple point of views. They're so well done and add so much to the story.

What I loved;
✨ Character Growth
✨ High School Drama
✨ Gossip Girl Vibes
✨ Suspense/Mystery

Rogue is available 3/7/23 and you absolutely must read it!

Thank you to NetGalley, Elle Kennedy, and Bloom Books for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

My mind is honestly blown. THAT ENDING?! What the heck. This book was good, but also tough at times. Casey was going through it during this book, and her journey came full circle. Watching her struggle to deal with emotions and pain, with healing from all the trauma, was hard at times. And Fenn, I just love him faults and all. I absolutely hate Silas currently and I am not here for his villain arc. My heart broke for Lawson (while also being angry at him for betraying Fenn), and I just wish someone would love him and show him his worth. RJ and Sloane were still crazy, yet I can’t help but love them. This book is an entire mess of angst and toxic relationships and love and forgiveness and I just EAT IT UP. I know some people hate the multiple POVs, but I honestly love it. I feel like it really adds to the story and keeps you pulled in for all the craziness that is to come. I feel like although one mystery has been solved, it only opened the door for so many more. Can book 3 come out already?!

Rogue continues where Misfit left off, this time mainly focusing on Casey and Fenn as revelations about Fenn’s role in her near drowning last prom rock her world. Misfit was giving me a little bit of a Veronica Mars vibes but Rogue really reminds me of the first season of VMars: morally gray guys and bitchy girls with a protagonist who goes from meek and mild to hardened outcast.

I really loved Casey’s growth and evolution from bullied to take no prisoners, to embracing all the sides of herself and her family. Fenn is ok, honestly enjoyed his storyline with his dad and RJ better than Casey, but Lawson was the most intriguing male in Rogue to me. I can’t wait to get his story. And I sincerely hope Silas becomes at least a little more likable if he’s getting his own story bc I can’t stand him atm. 😂

Loved the whole mystery aspect of what happened on prom night. This is a new lane for Elle and I’m not mad about it. I also def feel like we haven’t fully uncovered the whole truth yet. Loving this series! Off to go binge VMars now

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review the ARC for "Rogue." The first book left us on a wild cliffhanger and this story does not disappoint. Rogue is told mostly in Casey and Fenn's perspectives and focuses on the mystery behind Casey's accident that has left her with severe trauma. Fenn holds secrets about the accident and is conflicted about the loyalty he has for the girl he is falling for and his best friend from childhood. I also enjoyed the character development of Silas and Lawson, who were minor in the prior book. Their background and personalities complement the others very well. Sloane and RJ are still involved and determined to discover what happened on that fateful prom night. Love triangles, betrayals, mystery, confessions, and of course another cliffhanger will leave the reader clamoring for the next book.

love Elle Kennedy and I have read over 20 of her books. If she writes a book at this point I will read it. I hate to say it but I don’t really love this series. It reads like a YA book with a little bit of spice added in. I found myself not really caring about these characters. I also hated how every chapter was a different POV. This series doesn’t give me the same vibes as her other books. I did like this book. But it didn’t live up to my expectations of Elle Kennedy. However, I will keep reading books by her. And I do suggest her books. I just don’t know if would suggest this series pre say.

Rogue follows Casey, Sloane’s sister, and the aftermath of her near death accident and relationship with Fenn. Fenn is RJ’s stepbrother and he has been hiding a secret from Casey about her accident.
Casey’s behavior is changing due to learning about secrets and lies, and being treated like someone who can’t hold her own. Casey is over it.
Meanwhile, Silas and Lawson, are dealing with girl and friendship problems.
Everything is kind of a mess but it comes together.

Let me just say that anything Elle Kennedy writes, I will read. Her books are just wonderful. I loved this continuation and cannot wait to see what happens next. The ending had me SHOOK. My jaw dropped. I loved this book. It was just so wonderful. I read it in less than a day and couldn’t stop once I started. Chefs kiss!!!

Wow, what next step / second step from “Misfit”! This book was so good! I think I liked it even better than the first! This book focuses more on the relationship between Casey and Fenn, whereas the first book is primarily about Sloane and RJ. I really enjoyed this one, as well as the first, but liked the character development and getting to find out more about Casey’s accident. As well as finally finding out who did it! The book does end on somewhat of a little cliffhanger though so I can’t wait for the next one!! Hopefully it comes out soon because I need to know what happens next! Thank you thank you NetGalley and Elle Kennedy for letting me read an early read of this book! Loved it!

I love that we get to see everyone’s point of view in this series. The plot twists just keep on coming in this series it’s so good. Thank you for my review copy.

This book has all the teenage angst, drama, and romance of Gossip Girl (reboot or original), plus a bit of suspense and crime. 4 stars for me!

The story follows a group of prep school kids as they navigate the trials of high school with the added burden of trust funds. Casey, a self proclaimed innocent, deals with PTSD and memory loss after suffering a mysterious car wreck that almost took her life. To deal with her trauma, she seeks solace in her relationship with the school’s bad boy; but, when she finds out his intentions towards her aren’t what they seem, everything come crashing down. Simultaneously, Casey’s domineering sister and her boyfriend attempt to solve the mystery. Fights, love triangles, and lots of infidelity make this plot non stop. The story is told from several student’s POV, which I liked. It has all the makings of a screenplay for your next Netflix marathon.

I loved this second book of the Prep School series. The whole series in quite unique in the aspect that we get multiple point of views from six different characters, throughout the whole second book you can see continuous growth within multiple characters, especially the growth regarding Lawson. I feel like Lawson has a lot to work through and I really hope we get a third book in the series to explore Lawsons point of you more. I also loved that we saw the true side of Silas in this book we saw that his good guy façade was just that as a façade and really, he was only there for himself the whole time the book also ended on a bit of a cliffhanger with a character coming back, so I hope we get to see more of him in the next book.

If you don’t like a book by an author, do you try another, or never read them again?

I’m all about second chances so I will always give the author the benefit of the doubt, and try another one of their works. In the case of Elle Kennedy, I did just that. The last one I read was a miss for me, but when I saw that she had another book coming out in a different type of setting – I quickly requested it and I’m glad I did.

Casey was in a car accident that nearly cost her everything and has no one she can turn too – except Sandover’s Golden Boy – Fenn. But Fenn has a secret, he knows more about the accident than he has ever told Casey – he was there. He’s worried if she finds out, she’ll leave him for good. One day Casey has had enough and snaps at her bullies and her overly protective family. Will anyone survive her wrath?

This is the second book in the Sandover Prep series, but I didn’t feel left out for not having read the first one. Since this is a new adult romance, the spice level is very minimal. My complaint with this one, and one I’m thinking is the norm for this author is the many, points of views. It takes a lot to get into, but it does ultimately work. Just as a reader it takes a lot of effort to keep track and straight. I felt this book transported me back to the clique aspect of high school and I was just reading a bunch of gossip. Again it worked and was a lot of fun.

I highly recommend you check this one out. It’s a trip! Out March 7th!

I feel there been a gap for a good prep school novel. Beyond excited for this one as it contains love, suspense, and mystery. Will be sharing much more soon. I feel it’s a good book to add to YA but also can appeal to a larger age group as well. I feel people will be snapping up the rights on this one to turn it into a tv series or movie ect.

From New York Times bestselling author Elle Kennedy comes the return to Sandover Prep, where secrets lurk in the dark and no one is safe when they come into the light.

It's been a long time since Casey Tresscott has felt like her life was her own. After the car accident that nearly cost her everything, she's used to her family's coddling and the relentless whispers at school, no matter how much they sting. After all, she's found a safe harbor in her budding relationship with Sandover's golden boy, Fenn Bishop...or so she thinks.

Beneath Fenn's pretty, party-boy surface is a dangerous truth about the night Casey almost died. He thought lying to her was the right thing to do, but when the secret shakes loose, he just might lose her for good.

Because Casey is done being taken advantage of.

Grasping for the control she's been missing, Casey finally snaps—telling off her bullies, gallivanting with rebels and playboys, and shirking her headmaster father's strict curfews, despite the consequences. A desperate Fenn must ally with his stepbrother RJ and the other Sandover delinquents to uncover the full story of Casey's accident and the ones responsible if he hopes to win her back.

But what happens if Casey is no longer the same girl he first fell for? Is there any hope for their future if she's gone rogue for good?
