Casey hasn't felt her life was her own in a while, After her accident, she's been coddled by her parents and gossiped about in school, but her boyfriend, Fenn, is there for her. Or is he?
I DNF'd this fairly quickly. This was definitely not for me. If you like Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars, this may be more for you. Too much bitchy prep school drama for my taste, and way too many POVs.
I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you Netgalley and Elle Kennedy for the arc of Rogue! I love Elle Kennedy's Off-Campus series, and was excited to get this arc and start another of her series.

Rogue picks up where Misfit, the first book in the Prep Series, finishes. Although there are many POVs in this book, the main relationship arc is between Casey Tresscott and Fenn Bishop. Casey is still working through the trauma of her car accident that almost left her dead in a lake. Everyone around Casey treats her like a glass doll and essentially babies her to the point where Casey is sick of it. She's sick of the treatment, and decides that in order for her to be seen as strong, she needs to do a 180 flip of who she is. Which may or may not interfere with her budding relationship with Fenn.
Fenn is the Sandover Prep pretty boy and party-boy, but reaches out to Casey after her accident. The two of them become close after the car accident, and he is soon the one person Casey seeks out when she's struggling with her trauma. Fenn is keeping a secret that might explode their entire relationship, but could also shed some much needed light on what exactly happened on the night of Casey's accident.

Rogue continues the mystery arc of what happened to Casey when her car decided to take a dip in the lake with her in it. There were some twists that seemed a bit obvious to me, but the reasoning behind them all were a surprise. And we also get more insight to other characters in the book because of the chapters that were written in their view points, like Silas and Lawson (I think Lawson might be my new favorite character??). The relationship development between Casey and Fenn was fun to read and I think they both had decent character growth throughout the book. I think I enjoyed Misfit a bit better than Rogue, but I'm really enjoying this series and am so sad I'll have to wait so long for the third book to see what happens to all my favs at Sandover Prep.

I’ve been waiting for Casey and Fenn’s story and this was so worth the wait.
Casey doesn’t remember anything about the car accident, that night has changed a lot about her. She turns to Fenn for support and just someone that can be there for her. However, Fenn is hiding plenty of secrets.
I love Casey and Fenn’s relationship. They have ups and downs, but I love how well the two of them just get each other and I love how they are there for each other. I loved getting more of the rest of the crew. Getting to learn more about them and more insights into who each of them are as individuals.
Rogue contains multiple POVs, just like Misfit, but Casey and Fenn are the primary couple throughout the story. I highly recommend reading Misfit before reading Rogue to really getting the full picture and story of what is going on.
I am dying for more of this series and really seeing where things go and what happens next at Sandover Prep. I loved getting more Sloane and RJ and their relationship, Lawson…well, even though he loves chaos and creating it, I think he may be my favorite, even though I hate that he betrayed Fenn, Silas though, I am not a huge fan of him but I hope there is some redemption.
If you’re looking for a friends to lovers, YA, romantic suspense check this one out.

Rogue leaves off right where Misfit ends, in the aftermath of the prom incident, uncovered secrets, and teenage angst. I swear I don’t want the drama to end with these characters!

Deeply flawed and often misunderstood, Fennelly has done many things, but becoming friends with Casey could have been the worst and most selfish thing of all. His draw to her melted my heart and had me rooting for these two, and continually rooting for RJ and Sloane chapters because I was just not done with them yet.

Set at a Prep school and following 4-6 POVs, this book keeps you on the edge of your seat jumping from character-to-character, one troubled, mentally unstable and vice ridden person after another.

I really can’t wait to get the next book! I need to know what happens to these characters and how they will all come together in the end.

I’m really enjoying this series so far. It’s a really good mix of drama and as well as mystery. You learn way more about some of the other characters. This book had alot more drama than the previous book which had me shocked every page. It ends on a cliffhanger and Im curious to see where the story is going next. 3.5 stars!!

Reading this book gave me the answer to a vital question I didn't know I needed in my life: What happens when you put filthy rich prep school kids together with little to no supervision and add in mystery and spice? Perfection that is what.

I was, and still currently am, hooked by this book series. I started and read the first book, Misfit, in less than 24 hours. I would have done so with this book if I didn't have a job and other responsibilities like feeding myself and getting a doctor recommended 8 hours of sleep. Rogue did not disappoint and I inhaled this book.

This book focuses on the relationship that develops between Casey, the headmaster's younger daughter, and Fenn, the pretty boy rich kid who holds the answers to the mystery that has plagued Casey since a fateful accident the previous year. But there are other equally flawed and delightfully devious characters who all get their own POVs, which I really enjoyed. It helped break up the heaviness of the narrative a bit, added to the drama, and gave me insight into the other characters in a way I wouldn't have gotten if it was just focused on Casey and Fenn.

Additionally, the plot was filled with drama and angst that I really felt was well done. There were plot elements where I HAD to keep reading to figure out what was going on, and that is in part why I was so hooked by the book. It also had the beginnings and hint of a love triangle, which I am a huge fan of, a will they won't they vibe, and just the perfect amount of steam to balance out the naughtiness of the characters who are blissfully unsupervised and very very complex, complicated, and crafty.

Overall, this book ticked all my boxes and was a guilty pleasure of mine. I highly recommend it if you love books with prep school drama, angst, steam, and multiple POVs.

Thank you to Elle Kennedy for writing such an incredible novel. And thank you to NetGalley and Bloom Books for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review!

I loved everything about this book from start to finish! I couldn’t get enough of it and it was pretty much impossible to put it down! Such a fantastic read!

Rogue is the second book in the Prep series. This series is easy to read, has multiple POVS, strong character development, and is set at a prep school. Rogue follows Casey and Fenn's story as they navigate through their relationship despite school bullies and the disapproval of their friends and family. Casey is the youngest daughter of the Headmaster and Fenn is Sandover's Golden Boy with a big secret to hide. It's scandalous and spicy, which absolutely gives me Gossip Girl vibes. If you loved Gossip Girl, I highly recommend giving the Prep series a try.

I am obsessed with this series. I was so glad I got an ARC of this because I finished Misfit in a day and needed more. Rouge picks up where Misfit ended except this time we get more of Cassie’s and Fenn’s story. I loved the multiple POV in this, even with the multiple points of view it’s never too hectic or chaotic. This is giving MAJOR gossip girl dark prep school vibes. I’m obsessed with this series and could see this being turned into an amazing tv show. All I can say now is when do we get the 3rd book announced!?!?! Can’t wait to publish a review on my page on release day!

Rogue picks up pretty much where Misfit leaves off which I really liked. I don’t like huge time gaps between books so it was easy to jump right back in. I loved getting Casey’s POV this time around and getting to see her relationship with Fenn develop. I hope there will be more books in this Prep series because I really enjoy these characters and their world, and there are still some mysteries that need to be solved….

Rogue continues the Prep series with major gossip girl vibes, but what with a bit more dark/ serious mystery below the surface. I do feel the editing could have been a little tighter. This is definitely a fun read, I found some of the POVs a bit boring so hoping some characters get more to do in the next book but will certainly keep reading!

If you liked Gossip Girl then you’ll love the Prep series and book 2 Rogue! I love that the book is written from 6 different pov. Kind-hearted Casey and party-boy Fenn’s relationship is the center of this book and the truth about what happened to Casey’s accident. I liked that this book answered some questions and resolved some things that happened in book 1 Misfit, but it also left some more questions so I’m hoping book # 3 will be on the way soon!

Man oh man do I love some rich kids prep school drama and boy did this one deliver.

Picking up right where misfit left off with some very important information discovered, I was dragged right into the story and couldn’t stop reading.

All the different points of view really kept things interesting and kept the story flowing well. But the ending?? Oh boy I’m gonna need the third book stat!!

I love everything Elle Kennedy writes and can’t wait to read the next one.

Thank you Netgalley and Sourcebooks Bloom Books for the advanced reading copy in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book! I was already obsessed with Casey and Fenn from Misfit and I loved them even more in this book! The amount of emotion, drama, and twists is amazing I loved it! This was filled with so many ups and downs that made my heart break and warm during so many occasions. We got to see more of Silas and Lawson which was super nice! I loved seeing the small tidbits of Rj and Sloane in this book as well. This book was super good and I am excited for the rest of The Prep Series!

Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Rogue is the second installment of Elle Kennedy’s Prep series, and picks up where Misfit left off, with a cast full of characters who all get their own POVs throughout. The main focus of this book, however, is the growing relationship between Casey and Fenn, and the secrets that Fenn is keeping about the night of Casey’s accident.

Having enjoyed Misfit, I was completely anxious to see how the narrative would continue to unfold in Rogue. Unfortunately, I do not feel like this book was as successful in its execution as its predecessor.

The use of multiple first-person POVs throughout the novel was an interesting narrative tactic, and I think that it worked well in some places and not so well in others. The first half of the book held my attention, but as the book continued on, I felt less and less invested and engaged in the story. I also predicted one of the “twists” pretty much from the beginning of the book.

I understand the author’s desire to create flawed characters with the intention of redeeming them in later books, but it all felt very tactical and not very organic. Most of the characters in this story are unlikable, even when we are in their POVs. I’m all for a satisfying redemption arc, but some of the choices that Kennedy made will make it super difficult to garner interest or empathy for these characters moving forward. Not to mention the fact that this book is supposedly focused on Casey and Fenn, and readers barely get to see them happily together.

I also took umbrage with the way the author described some of the (very few) characters of color in the novel. The term “dusky” was used to describe a female’s character’s skin tone, which felt… gross. Not to mention the fact that this author has utilized racial stereotypes in the past that are problematic. I was hoping that said author had heard the previous criticism and grown from it, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Overall, this wasn’t the book for me, and I don’t think I’ll continue on with the series.

Thank you to Bloom Books and NetGalley for generously providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

We pick up right where we left off in Mistfits. Casey Tresscott can't remember what happened on prom night, all she remembers is waking up on the beach with her car sinking to the bottom of the lake. Since then her family has coddled her, her friends backstabbed her and her new school bully is making her target #1. But she's found a safe haven in Fenn Bishop. Beneath Fenn's pretty, party-boy surface is a dangerous truth about the night Casey almost died. He thought lying to her was the right thing to do, but when the secret shakes loose, he just might lose her for good. Because Casey is done being taken advantage of. Grasping for the control she's been missing, Casey finally snaps―telling off her bullies, gallivanting with rebels and playboys, and shirking her headmaster father's strict curfews, despite the consequences. A desperate Fenn must ally with his stepbrother RJ and the other Sandover delinquents to uncover the full story of Casey's accident and the ones responsible if he hopes to win her back. But what happens if Casey is no longer the same girl he first fell for? Is there any hope for their future if she's gone rogue for good?

I am here to eat my words! In the first book of the Prep Series book had me wondering if I was aging out of YA/NA genres. However, Rogue was a home run for me! The plot was much more focused in which I thought was lacking in the last book. Our favorite characters are back and all their POV's are offered. I felt the puzzle pieces of each perspective fit into place much better than in the previous book. You will NEVER guess who was the person behind Casey's accident and the Cliffhanger at the end OMG! I need a third book ASAP.

Thanks to the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review. This book releases 3/7

This one was a little better than the first one. It kept the tension throughout the story. And I was engaged in reading about what really happened to Casey and wither or not her and Fenn were going to make it. I really wished Misfit would have been like this one.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and Elle Kennedy for the chance to read an early copy of Rogue. I really enjoyed this follow up to Misfit. I liked the development of the relationships between the 4 central Sandover guys and the author really moved the mystery plot forward in a way I didn’t expect. Now I am eagerly waiting to read the next one! Wish the books would dial down the gratuitous drug use which just seems unnecessary. However, am really interested to see where the story heads next. Solid 4 stars.

I really like that these books have many different POV’s and focuses on two main characters at a time. You get different views of the situation on hand or what is going on around them.

Love the rich, bored private school vibe.
