I've been following Tom and Rachel on TikTok for a while and fell in love with them and their story! I was so excited when I saw they were coming out with this book. Not only is a cookbook but it has personal stories included too! I suffer from PCOS, so I found this book to be incredibly helpful and insightful! If you have PCOS, don't sleep on this book because it has a lot of great information and helps you to become more aware of your cycle and how you can use food to help lessen your PCOS symptoms.

Thank you, DK books, and Net Galley, for a gifted copy in return for my honest review.

As someone with PCOS, this cookbook was perfect for me. As a North Carolinian, the representation of my sweet state wasnt missed (even though I know the Sullivans arent natives). I still had a great time going through this one.

<3 As a person living with #PCOS, I wish this book written by folks with lived experienced existed during my #deathsentence. The pictures are dynamic and the preparation and love that went into them is unmatched--I don't even possess the intimacy to go through all that labor for myself. However, the research on the mental and physical symptoms would have made all those miserable painful years a lot more tolerable--instead I was wishing for death on a monthly schedule. These photos are food art worthy and this is a gem of a book for couples or single women dealing with the misery of PCOS. I do see myself making the low labor salads he created. I wish there was a one button ingredient ordering button on Amazon to buy all what is needed in one go. Great resource for clean eating meals and self-care rituals. This was very well done and quite romantic IMO. <3

This cookbook is exactly what I expected. It provides recipes and some general guidance but it is very clearly from the perspective of people living the reality of PCOS and not a nutritionist or chef merely throwing recipes at us. I appreciate that the recipes are from real people who are not looking to sacrifice flavor.

I will note that the ingredients are not cheap, and this makes some of the recipes unrealistic for this who are surviving on a single average American income.

I have PCOS and was really intrigued by this cookbook!

It has a lot of background about the couple and how they figured things out. I wish there had actually been more recipes but the history and back story was really interesting and helpful! It's a lot of information to soak up and lots of great information.

Thank you to NetGalley, the authors and publisher for a digital, temporary ARC in return for my review.

I have been following the authors on Instagram for a while now and I was excited when I saw they were writing a cookbook. It is a cookbook, but also so much more. I was diagnosed back in my early 20's with PCOS and a resource like this would have been extremely helpful back then. The authors of the book share a lot of information as well as being very real and vulnerable about their own story. There are lots of recipes in there that sound delicious and I look forward to trying some of them soon.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for a copy of this book. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I love this couple. I have followed their journey on social media. This cookbook is incredible (the recipes are amazing even if you don’t have PCOS) and easy to make. A lot of research and work went into this and it really shows.

What a lovely book. If you follow them on IG/TikTok this will feel just like them talking to you. Since a PCOS diagnosis is hard to come by, this book can help those who may have it and are still waiting on the diagnosis manage it holistically.

A cookbook that acknowledges women's mental cycle, PCOS, and dietary needs that come with the flow!! Appreciate the love this duo has for each other and their readers. Great food trade out lists to help with hormone shifts. Detailed recipies that are easy to follow. (No dessert recipies.)

Meals She Eats has information about Pcos along with diet and lifestyle tips. I was given a diagnosis of Pcos by my gynecologist when I was trying to get pregnant over 10 years ago. He told me I had Pcos and then handed me what was essentially a photocopied single sided sheet with very little info. I'm looking forward to putting these tips and recipes to practice. Thanks for writing this boom. It has way more information than that photocopy!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced digital copy.

>>> Reading this within the NetGalley app that eventually disappears or expires is not the most ideal - especially for cookbooks that I'd love to have access to after it pubs.

I want to thank NetGalley, the author and the publisher for providing me with an eARC of this publication. In return, I have promised to provide an unbiased review. I really wish more cookbooks were formatted better and offered as a Kindle version.

This book suggests a way of eating for those with PCOS. The authors present an interesting idea of pairing a women’s cycle with eating to minimize the effects of PCOS. Having read a variety of books on this topic, this one provides the most unique approach. The recipes are a range of favourites tailored to fit the health needs of women with PCOS and most other women and men in general. This is definitely a book that supports healthy eating for the whole family.

We are looking at recipes that the authors journey with PCOS through food, while i don't have pcos i do have endometriosis so i can relate to changing your diet for hormonal health. Some people think its a bust but i think eating healthy may not be all that is important for healing but it is a huge part of it. The book is just a good amount of recipes to show you what helped her so you can try it for yourself!

I found this cookbook via the authors, social media accounts. With personal experience, needing to use diet to manage health symptoms, I’m excited to try the recipes. I’m glad they were able to find success in their fertility journey and hope this book provides guidance to other families in similar circumstances. Well written, beautiful layouts.

I have been a fan of Tom and Rachel Sullivan for quite some time after seeing their story on GMA. I was so excited to read this book and it was fantastic! I loved the format which went back and forth between Rachel and Tom’s point of view, I also love that they engaged a medical doctor to discuss PCOS. While I do not have PCOS, I found the information to be very helpful and plan to use many of the suggestions in this book.

I also think it is wonderful to have the step by step process that Rachel used to help manage her PCOS and eventually become pregnant with her adorable daughter. Oftentimes when someone successfully manages a medical condition folks walk to know every step in detail for how they did it. This book does a fantastic job of laying our the types of questions to ask a doctor, practical changes Rachel made, and some great recipes, swaps, and helpful information for women’s cycles. It is a great read! Before I read the book I thought it was going to be primarily recipes but it is much more than that! I really enjoyed it!

Thank you to NetGalley and DK Publishing for the digital advanced readers copy! I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. This book will be published April 18, 2023.

This book is specific to PCOS but I found a lot of helpful information here as well as some good recipes for inflammation.

This book is written by Tom and Rachael. Dealing with PCOS there are quite a few symptoms that can be similar to PMS symptoms. But usually more severe. Rachael was told it was just part of being a woman. We've all heard that at some time or other. We also know we have to do our own research. These two have done that and a lot more.

Meals She Eats is the healing you deserve. This book offers everything you need to know to naturally manage your diagnosis. For each of the four phases of your menstrual cycle. I didn't know there were four phases! Already I'm learning something.

The recipes are good. Healing food. Food that nourishes your body.

I can't help but be impressed with this team. This is going to help a lot of women.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of “Meals She Eats.” All opinions are my own.

I really loved the layout of this book. I was only expecting the recipes! I didn’t realize there’d be so much information on PCOS and menstrual cycles. I’m so glad they included that. The information was easy to understand. I’ll definitely be referring back to this in the future and there are at least 5 or 6 recipes I plan to make asap.
