I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. This book needs to come with a trigger warning about death, though I think the author does a good job of explaining that everyone grieves differently and that it is okay to move on.
This is a lovely story about family, friendship, soft ball and lake houses.
Brooke and Calls are such great characters and have to really help each other as they deal with the grief of losing their mother. Their sisterhood bond is one that will make anyone want a sister like that.
I liked how Brooke and Derek's relationship changed cute they were still best friends.
I liked the new friendship Brooke found with Marley.
Such a great middle grade read. Made me want to go to a lake house and swim and enjoy being with people you love.
Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!
