So I actually really enjoyed this one! there were elements that I felt were slightly rushed, such as the falling in love aspect; they had chemistry and a natural banter to them but the falling in love aspect felt rushed compared to everything else. However, lately I'm loving the older sister looking after their long lost sibling an finding love along the way, which this book had in plenty! I think it could have been a lot longer for the proper development but it was a compelling read and I read it in one sitting.

I enjoyed the storyline of finding out who they were searching for and everything else, I think it added to the storyline, categorising it as a romantic suspense!

The book seemed kind of short to me. And it does seem to me the romance was a little rushed. I think the character’s feelings and the scenery could have been emphasized a little more to bring me into the book. All in all though, it had a good story line, and I did enjoy reading it.

I think I’ve been with this series from the very beginning. That’s made this a special treat to come back and discover what happened before the beginning. It’s not exactly a direct line to the events in the first book of the series, though. This book is about a mission that took place at the same time and how the hand of Fate moved pieces on the chessboard to put people in different places than they thought they’d be. I loved Teslyn and Ivy. The resilience these two possess is awe-inspiring. Wyatt took me a little bit to warm up to just because of how surly he starts this book. I loved seeing Teslyn and Wyatt learn to trust and open up to one another. And the drama and tension are top notch. I was quickly hooked and anxious to find out what would happen next. There’s a twist at the end that I really should have seen coming, but it caught me completely off guard. I feel like I need to re-read this series now that I’ve been reminded of how much I love it.

Nice story, good plot and characters, well developed.

This was the first time I have read a Amy Gamet story, I have to say I really enjoyed it. I loved Teslyn and Wyatt they both had so much to deal with and over come. Teslyn's history with her mom and the shocking discovery that she discovers and a tragic moment in her life!! Cant wait to read more from this Author.

What an action packed drama filled romance! Teslyn goes to her mother's aid again but this time she finds her mother murdered and a sister she didn't know that she had.

Teslyn need help and Wyatt is not sure if she has abducted Ivy and murdered her mother like the news is reporting.

The rest of the book is Teslyn and Wyatt trying to dodge the law and keep Ivy safe and figure out who is behind the murder.

It was hard to put down, sad, and now I want to know what happened with Hawk!

This book is everything!

Scorching hot scenes, a feisty heroine, a to die for hero, angst, and suspense.

Teslyn and Wyatt jumped from the pages of Ms. Gamet's story!

What's not to love about a SEAL! Wyatt was definitely yummy!

This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is part of the Special Forces: Operation Alpha; H.E.R.O. Force series. I wanted more from this book. I felt the romance was too fast moving and needed more. The suspense was good. I really did not fully connect to the characters in this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Teslyn is having a day like any other when she receives a call from her estranged mother Marilyn. But this is not the usual financial request: Marilyn shares that Teslyn has a 5 year old sister Ivy and she fears for their lives. Teslyn rushes to help them but it is too late; all she can do is save her sister and run.

Wyatt is about to leave on an important mission when a brother in arms reaches out to request help hiding Teslyn and Ivy. After dropping everything, their lives are intertwined together as they rush to work out who Ivy's mysterious and powerful father is and why he wants to clean he slate...

I enjoyed this story and in particular, the way the story took its time to come together. There was less spice than I was anticipating but the scenes were appropriate for the story. My only concern was how quickly the final action scene concluded. It felt like this had been rushed and many questions were left unanswered.

Ultimately, I enjoyed the book and will be reading the rest of the series!

A nicely paced emotional charged read with a good story line. Can Teslyn and Wyatt let go of their baggage to save a child. This a example of how our childhood can follow us into adulthood. There are parts that feel a little rushed but overall a good read. I received a ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving this review

Guarded by the SEAL is a fast paced romantic suspense.
This is my first read by Amy Gamet.
Teslyn gets a desperate call from her mother and rushes home where she finds her home in flame and finds out she has a much younger half sister!
She calls a friend for help, and Wyatt "Bulldog" is sent to help her.
Wyatt is not exactly happy to be missing out on a mission, but when his friend calls him to help someone he can't say no. He does not trust Teslyn but still helps her and her younger sister Ivy.
This was a great read, seeing these two come together.

5 starts in the sense of it s a great story!!! I do think it could have been better though - it seemed rushed at certain parts. I wish the author had wrote more. I would have preferred a longer story. But again, great content!

Teslyn didn't have an easy childhood since her mother did drugs and sold herself for money. Teslyn had to fend for herself from an early age. As she becomes an adult she doesn't speak to her Mom much. She is shocked to receive a call that her Mom is in trouble and that she has a five year old sister.

When Teslyn gets there she finds the trailer burning to the ground and her sister hiding where she had to climb under the trailer to get out or she would have died in the fire as well.

Now Teslyn needs to find out why her mother was killed and if someone was trying to kill her sister too.

Loved it!! This is my first Amy Gamet story and it was awesome!! This story is top notch on the intrigue and excitement and the relationship between Teslyn and Wyatt is filled with speed bumps the HEA was perfect. Definitely a new Amy Gamet fan!!

Former Navy Seal Wyatt Sorensen works for Hero Force when his buddy Ghost asks him to help and protect Teslyn McGregor and her little sister he drops from his current mission to step in . Wyatt is worried that Teslyn is not innocent when he finds an ember alert and her car matches the description . Teslyn hasn't had much to do with her mother for many years and is shock to find she has a young sister . When she arrives to help them things have went terribly wrong and Teslyn seeks protection and help to clear it all up . Unfortunately she also has to prove her innocence to Wyatt and try to keep their chemistry contained . This story is intense and intriguing and steamy just fantastic .I highly recommend taking the time to read .

I love a good SEAL novel and this didn’t disappoint except that it was too short. I wanted to know more about Teslyn and Wyatt and little Ivy.

Teslyns mom calls and is in trouble and when she arrives at her moms there is tragedy and Tess takes Ivy and are on the run. She calls for help and Wyatt comes to the rescue.

As they get to know each other the attraction is undeniable but will the threat get to Tess before Wyatt can save her?
