Karen McManus does it again with her conclusion to the One of Us is Lying series. You will see the characters back from the first two books to solve yet another set of problems in Bayview. Don't miss out on this wonderful mystery that will keep you entertained until the very end where secrets always come out. Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely love this author and she did not disappoint with yet another 5 star read I love everything she writes!

McManus is a master at her craft! I pride myself on figuring out the mystery lomh before it's revealed, and I was clueless until the end. What a great story!

One of Us is Back was a great ending to the trilogy. It's no secret that I HATED the first book - or more so the way some of the characters were written in the first book (among other things) - but I actually found this one to be an enjoyable break from that. The twists were well done and kept me guessing as well as the characters well written. It was fun to revisit this world as well, bringing it to an interesting end.

I must admit, it was a wonderful experience to have more time with the characters I truly adore. Both Nate and Cooper hold a special place in my heart!
I couldn't figure out the culprit until the very end. The pace was incredibly gripping and filled with excitement, keeping me on the edge of my seat, nervously biting my nails, barely regaining my composure, and munching on popcorn as if I were watching my favorite thriller movie.
I'm uncertain whether this will be the final encounter with the Bayview Crew, and I'm always open to another installment.
However, let me assure you, this is the finest book in the series, and you shouldn't overlook it!

Special thanks to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. This was a great ending to the One of us is Lying Trilogy.

4/5
Great conclusion to what has been a favorite series of mine! If you’re looking to get some closure on some of the holes or cliffhangers in the previous One of Us books this is a must read.
The mystery this time around was a bit incredulous and requires you to suspend some reasoning to really buy into. That being said I wasn’t actually here for the plot anyways so it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the book! But given the genre of the book I will say the big reveal seemed out of left field and not quite up to the standard the other books set up.
From a character development perspective I was very happy with the conclusion to these characters! I loved the different perspectives that were included this time around and it seemed fitting that it was the characters who didn’t quite know their next steps last time we saw them. The Bayview Crew closed their story exactly where’d I hoped they did and I can’t see what else K. M. McManus has in store in the future.
Thank you to Netgalley and Karen M. McManus for the advanced read of One of Us is Back in exchange for an honest review.

A really fantastic ending to a series I loved reading! I will say a lot was forgetting from the second book and with SO many pieces working together, it did get a bit confusing but otherwise I really loved how it played out!

I loved diving back into the mysteries and dilemmas faced by the Bayview Crew. I equally appreciated the character reviews in the form of the contact list at the beginning of the text and brief character re-introductions. We tied up loose ends from book two that had left me with questions and got to revisit the original characters as their life continues on. This book seems to exist for just that reason and therefore could have been shorter or adjusted to actually add new content. I still enjoyed it, but I am worried about this series continuing when there is little left to work with. How much can reasonably go on at one high school involving the same few groups of people? I get that it is fiction, so it doesn't really need to be reasonable in that way, but still!
3.5 stars rounded down

This book was the perfect ending to the trilogy. McManus has such a great way of putting twists and turns in the plot to make the reader keep guessing.
It's always a good feeling to go back to familiar characters and see what they're up to. Going back to Bayview was everything I expected. The high school drama, the friend dynamic, new and old crushes.
But above all the new characters and new game. Just like in the last two books someone is out for revenge. Get ready to get sucked back into this world of schemes, betrayal, and lies.

I personally could not get into this book because it had been so long since I read the other two. I couldn’t quite remember details about the characters or the plot, and it was coming up quite a bit. I think if I would’ve read these closer together. I would’ve enjoyed this one a bit more.

Two years have passed since Simon died and the Bayview Four had to prove their innocence. Then a copycat appeared, pulling new characters into the mix. The full cast of Bronwyn, Cooper, Addy, Nate, Maeve, Phoebe, Knox, Luis, and Kris are all back together for the summer, hoping to hang out and move on from the drama. But because life is never easy, a suspicious billboard pops up, suggesting that a new “game” is in town, only it’s not a game that anyone wants to play, let alone the Bayview Crew. However, if anyone can solve this mystery, it's them.
It's important to note that while this is the third book in the series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone.

Unexplained events start happening once again in Bayview. Members missing, mysterious billboards & a deadly game starts. Someone is out for revenge.
Not my favorite out of this series, but I’d still recommend this series to any YA thriller lover. I think I would have liked it more if I would have read it immediately after the 2nd book. I was very confused about who all the characters were and what happened in the prior books. There was recap, but I still felt like there was way too many characters from book 1&2 to keep track of it all.

The Bayview Crew is back and better than ever!! I will absolutely devour anything that Karen M. McManus writes, and the newest book in this series was no different. I love that she brought back our beloved characters from both of the previous novels. I definitely grew attached to them- McManus knows how to draw you in with both her character development and plot pacing.

I was excited to read the 3rd novel in the One of Us is Lying series. This book brings home the original Bayview 4 plus the sequel crew from One of Us is Next. It's summer and just as everyone returns a creepy billboard pops up asking "Ready for a Game Bayview?" as if these poor kids have not been through enough. Soon it is clear someone is targeting the kids again-druggings, kidnappings, murders and all fingers point to an old nemesis who has also returned. The kids have to figure out what is going on before all of them end up dead. I'd say this was not better than the first book but definitely better than the second and a great way to tie things up. I loved that some old favorite relationships are still going strong and newer ones are forming and I was so happy to see some of these characters really come into their own. I thought the mystery was good with lots of twists that I didn't see coming. I think those who enjoyed the first two will definitely like this one. I just hope this is the last one because as much as I like these characters I don't think I could get into a "someone is messing with the Bayview Crew" deal for the fourth time. I frequently point teens to this series at the library.

The Bayview Crew makes a triumphant return!
This latest installment maintains the same level of intensity and intrigue as its predecessors, set nearly two years after the tragic demise of Simon during detention. With the Bayview Crew reunited for the summer, they’re determined to forge ahead and leave their past behind.
The story ignites with a hacked billboard bearing a cryptic message: “Time for a new game, Bayview.” Soon, a crew member goes missing, signaling that no one is safe, and everyone is a potential target.
Readers gain insight through the perspectives of Phoebe, Nate, and Addy, supplemented by enlightening flashback chapters from various characters. Witnessing our beloved Murder Club members working in harmony once again was a highlight of the story.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for sending a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Karen McManus never misses, in my opinion. Her characters are always given time to develop and the mystery doesn't disappoint. A must read for YA mystery fans!

Karen McManus saved the best for last. and absolutely knocked this series out of the ball park. I cannot wait to see what else she brings us!

I screamed when I got this ARC I’ve been obsessed with this series since Simon and this was no exception. Karen gave us all the twist and turns we expect from her books and characters we’ve enjoyed. I can’t wait for her next book is what I always say after finishing one because one is never enough.

The Bayview Crew is back and once a again a mysterious game rocks their world
I have definitely enjoyed listening to this series and this last book which brings together the characters from book 1 and book 2 in one final mystery did not disappoint . I am not a big fan of series generally but I’m a listen sad that this one is over !
