TRAVIS by Mia Sheridan was another tear-jerker! This author always knows how to pull at your heartstrings, and this was probably her most emotional one yet.
Everyone who read the first one probably really disliked Travis. So I'm glad we finally get to understand why and by the end we were all in love with him. This one wasn't as emotional imo as the first but definitely at the end I was feeling the rollercoaster of emotions. Loved the banter and chemistry between Travis and Haven. Loved all the crazy characters at the inn too! I want to know all the things that were on his list!
this was such a perfect conclusion to archer's voice. I loved the bree and archer crumbs in this book, their family is so beautiful. I didn't think i'd enjoy this book because travis was pretty terrible but this story had so much depth and heart. Travis's POV and getting a look into his trauma made my chest ache. The end scene was perfect, I loved how Travis laid out all his flaws and haven confessing her love to him made me giddy. haven and travis were so perfect for each other, two unloved people finding that love in each other in the best ways. I am so ready for Gage's book to come out!
The characters are well-developed, with Travis’s journey particularly compelling. His struggles and growth throughout the novel are portrayed with depth and sensitivity, making him relatable and sympathetic. The romance is beautifully incorporated, adding layers of emotion and intensity to the story.
One of the standout aspects of the book is its exploration of forgiveness and healing. The story is filled with moments of tenderness and hope, making it a truly uplifting read.
Overall, it’s a beautifully written novel that will appeal to fans of contemporary romance and anyone who enjoys a story of personal growth and redemption.
I held off on this book for a long time. I really REALLY didn't like Travis in Archer's Voice. But I'm also a sucker for a good redemption story and Sheridan didn't fail me. Although I didn't fall for Travis completely, I did end up liking him so much more and didn't begrudge him his happy ending. Him and Haven worked really well and I felt that their relationship was built on such a strong friendship bond. The romance was sweet, but the plot felt a little weak and I wanted better drama besides the manufactured one that happened at the end. Overall, still glad I read it and kudos to the author for making a hated characters likable.
I made the mistake of reading this before Archers Choice but I don't regret it. This was an engulfing read that made me feel a lot of things.

This was such a cute book! Like the others before me have reviewed, meeting Travis in Archer’s Voice, you’re hesitant about him. But Travis gets his redemption in this book and all his backstory needed to really understand him. I loved how much he has grown in the gap between this book and A.V.
However, was I very confused cause I couldn’t remember A.V. details? Yes. And I really wish we got the “book recap” before like 60% 😂
I really liked Haven’s character. I loved how both of these characters were so adorable together, and the banter had me laughing. But I also loved how complex they both were, and how they grew so well together!
Super excited to read to the next book for Gage!
Final rating: 4⭐️, 2.75🌶️

Mia Sheridan is a staple for my book shelf, both physical and digital. While I have read a few that are so far out there, I have loved everything I've read. Travis is an extension off of Archer's Voice and if you have to read it, what are you waiting for? Travis was introduced to us in Archer's Voice and is you have read it, you know how that ended and the type of person Travis was. This is set years later and Travis is a changed man and oh boy, he has changed. I love that we got to see the other characters from Archer's Voice in Travis and that we get to see how the one character that we hated for the most part, has changed to be the one character we cannot live without. Definitely read this one, but for all my word is worth, read Archer's Voice first, you will thank me later. 4.5 stars!

Travis by Mia Sheridan is the second book in the Pelion Lake romance series. It’s set in Pelion, Lake, Maine and features Travis Hale and Haven Torres.
Travis and Haven are reasonably well developed. Both characters change and grow as the story unfolds. However, I felt Easton was even more of a dynamic character.
The story switches points of view between Travis and Haven giving readers insights into their thoughts and perspectives. The novel felt slower to me than Archers Voice and although he did the right thing I still remembered all that he did to Archer in the first book. I enjoyd the series and will continue to read other books.
A poignant tale of love, loss, and redemption that will tug at your heartstrings. While the pacing may feel slow at times, Sheridan's beautifully crafted prose and emotional depth ensure that Travis's journey is both captivating and unforgettable.

I love how Travis gets some redemption in this installment!
As most people who read Archer's Voice, I considered his cousin Travis the villain of the story, even though by the end he became a wee-bit redeemed. So for us to get a sequel, and that sequel be about Travis, was a shock! But at the same time, we learn how Travis is Travis and we see him grow and change and become a good man. Excellent sequel, and much needed redemption book.
I was left a little disappointed in this recount of Travis, a character we're introduced to in Archer's Voice. So disappointed that I cannot do a review justice and unbiased.
I honestly didn't think Travis could be redeemed but I was proven wrong! Mia truly knows how to write and book and put you in your feels. Thank you for writing this. Highly recommend!!
I will be honest wasn’t sure about this one going in…I loved Archers Voice with my whole heart but could not stand Travis or see how he could possibly redeem him self. Mia Sheridan did such a great job with his character and the writing, and his growth and maturity is nice to see. He is definitely far from perfect and I did still find him hard to like at times but overall was impressed.
If you loved Archer's Voice you probably hated Travis. I was reluctant to entertain Travis's story but I have to admit I love a good redemption story. This book didn't hit the way Archer's Voice did but it was still a great story nonetheless. Karma really came for Travis and I'm happy he was able to realize his transgressions and "repent" for them. But I did find the way he did it a bit too dramatic for my taste. I still don't know if I liked Haven all that much to be honest. But I think they were perfectly matched in a weird way.
DNF 10%
I think its just been too long since I've read Archer's Voice to be able to enter back into this world. I was not pulled into it by 10% which is my quitting spot.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy of Travis by Mia Sheridan.
How I loved diving back into this town! I am so happy the author gave us more from these wonderful people. I loved seeing how far Travis had come in his personal journey and the ending was simply beautiful. I definitely recommend this love story and this author. The audio version of this was simply perfection. I hope the author decides to give us more either through Gage or Easton. I can't recommend this book and series enough.
As much as I loved Archer's Voice I could not get myself to care about Travis. Sheridan did such a great job of making him an unlikable character in the first book that his redemption did not interest me. I suppose that is a compliment to the author's previous work!
