This is an interesting and inspiring read that explores how injecting a little humor can impact a workplace and how humor can help lead a team in a more effective manner. Jacobson focuses on the importance of communication and team building where he provides a practical approach on how to use humor in the workplace appropriately.

Jacobson provided studies that highlight the positive impact humor has in the workplace such as a boost of team morale, working more effectively and productively which proves that humor can be a powerful tool to not only improve leadership skills but also work better in a team environment.

Highly recommend to those who are looking to be a better leader and be a better team player. Thank you Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the arc.

I learned that humor is not my leadership style. The book would be a useful tool for those who do share this style.

Not considering myself particularly funny I was intrigued to see what this book could offer me above the many leadership books I have read. I found this book a fantastic resource for effective leadership full of self reflection and examples from the author, lots of tools to use for self reflection in practice and to implement with your team. Great insights that I hadn’t read before and a book that I will return to again to continuously improve my leadership skills.
