A strong memoir about a mixed race kid trying to figure out where he belongs while also playing a genre of music that his mother didn’t get.
It was perfectly titled. It felt honestly written and it was an enjoyable read. There were just a few spots that kind of dragged a little but overall the slower parts didn’t take too much from his story.
This is definitely worth a read.
