I love old Hollywood so I knew I had to request this book as soon as I saw it on NetGalley.

This book did not disappoint! It is a very well written book about the lives and careers of Bogie & Bacall.
The author definitely did his research for this book and it shows.

I would recommend this book for any Bogie & Bacall fan as well as anyone interested in old Hollywood.

I love Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, though I was aware that their story would have some difficult bits. Still, this is a great book for anyone who loves old Hollywood.

FIrst of all, thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy of Bogie & Bacall. I really enjoyed the insight into aspects of their lives that I wasn't aware of. I teach a Film Lit class, and I'm always looking for materials to supplement the class. Though I enjoyed the whole of the book as a movie buff, I don't know that it'll be something I can pitch to teenagers with a passing interest. On the other hand, I do have some students who are very interested in film who I will definitely recommend the book to.
