I have had a pressure cooker for years and have found this book an inspiration to make better use from it. A book in this time when fuel costs are high.

I love my pressure cooker. Best thing I ever bought for the Kitchen. You can safely make a dish and let it cook away while you sit down with a good book and it will turn it self off when finished. Highly recommend you get one if you haven't.

This book has a recipe for every type of meal, from starters to desserts. veggie to meat and even snacks. There are recipes to suit every taste and I really enjoyed sampling them.

This is a great book if you are just starting cooking, if your a busy worker and want something simple to make or simply looking to get creative.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you Netgalley, Barbara Scheiving and Quarto Publishing Group for this advance copy of Recipes that I could try in Quick and easy Electric Pressure Cooker. It helped me prepare my meals with shortcut Dinners and 30 minute meal sections. I love chicken dishes, that's one of the reason I picked this book. It was extremely helpful.

There were a ton of recipes that I never would have thought of in a pressure cooker. The recipes are well written and easily accessible ingredients. My only slight issue was the pictures weren’t appealing in my opinion.

Quick and Easy Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook : Delicious and Foolproof Recipes for Beginners is a recipe and information book on using a pressure cooker. It begins by presenting the benefits of using an electric pressure cooker and provides lots of useful advice and tips. The recipes are beautifully laid out and easy to follow, and best of all there are lots of eyewatering photographs (something that makes all the difference for me). There are main courses, breakfast recipes, soups, 30 minute, and desserts. All well organised and easy to reference. Overall a great recipe book.

I’ve watched tons of cooking shows. One thing I noticed in the competition type shows was that the chefs always had trouble with their pressure cookers. Lids not sealing, lids not coming off. I’ve long figured they were too much of a hassle for me to try.

But lately, I have been watching a guy on YouTube. In some of his vlogs he cooks. He has used his pressure cooker several times with no issues. So, when I saw this book, I decided to check it out. I’m happy that I did.

Pages 8 – 20 of the, QUICK AND EASY ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER COOKBOOK, are packed full of everything you need to know about using a pressure cooker. I mean, I assume they are. There certainly is a ton of information. It made for an interesting read.

Chapters consist of –
1. Breakfast
2. Sandwiches, Wraps, Tacos, and More
3. Soup’s On
4. Shortcut Dinners
5. 30-Minute Meals
6. Sunday Suppers
7. Desserts

There are recipes like . . . Crustless Ham and Cheese Quiche, Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole, Carnitas Street Tacos, Shredded Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches, Sweet-and-Spicy Sloppy Joes, Louisiana Gumbo, Broccoli Cheese Soup, Rhode Island Clam Chowder, Anytime Spaghetti and Meatballs, Better-than-Take-Out Sweet-and-Sour Chicken, Easy Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy, Chicken Cordon Bleu “Bake”, Tamale Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Turkey Breast with Turkey Gravy, Mini Creamy Lemon Pies, Fudgy Brownies, and more.
There’s a larger selection of recipes than I would have thought. Some things I had no idea could be done in a pressure cooker. The directions seem easy enough. There are a lot of colored photos to give you an idea of what your finished dish should like. Sadly, not a photo for each dish.

All in all, author Barbara Schieving has done a great job of making the pressure cooker look like a friendlier beast than I have forever thought it to be. I’m still sticking with my slow cooker, but if I am ever gifted a pressure cooker, I am more likely to give it a try.

Great resource for using that Instant Pot that has gotten pushed to the back of the shelf when you got your air fryer. In addition to tips and troubleshooting, this book offers a wealth of recipes, ranging from breakfast (Maple Almond Raisin Breakfast Risollo anyone?) to a variety of tacos, pasta dishes, soup, and desserts. Cooking in layers has always intimidated me, but it's easy when you follow the directions included in each recipe. I also love the tips offered with each recipe. The tip that blew me away was a method to make soup cook faster. Dinner tonight will be French Dip sandwiches!

Nice , straightforward recipes, having owned an electric pressure cooker for a year or so I had lost my enthusiasm for using it. This book has inspired me to start using it again.

Thanks to NetGalley and ghte publishers for allowing me to read Quick and Easy Electric Pressure Cookbook

Quick and Easy Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook has a variety of recipes from breakfast, sandwiches, to soups and desserts that are adapted for pressure cooker. I haven’t tried any of them yet, my review is based on the variety of recipes, how easy and clear the book is to follow the recipes, and how beautiful the photos are. One of the recipes I was excited about was Chicken Tikka Masala but when I read the recipe I saw that it requires store bought Tikka Masala sauce and I was a little disappointed since I expected the recipe to be from scratch. I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review

This wonderful cookery book starts with the advantages of pressure cookers, as these include cost saving, better flavour and faster cook time, on these alone am absolutely sold! It talks us through all the elements of the cooker in a 'walk-through' section, this includes all the types of cooking we need to know including sauté, simmering and browning. Pointers and trouble shooting are also included. Next it is on to the fun stuff - the recipes! These are organised into breakfast, sandwiches etc, soup, shortcut dinners, 30 minute meals, Sunday suppers, and desserts (The peanut butter cup cheesecake is devine!)

Photos are beautiful (Im currently drooling over the Tamale pie!) and recipes are easy to follow. Only a handful of easy to access ingredients are featured - always a bonus!

A lovely book, my thanks to Netgalley, author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for an advance copy

This is a general pressure cooker or Instant Pot cookbook that draws from many different types of cuisines. There are several items for appetizers and desserts but the large majority is entrees. If someone is new to the pressure cooker or Instant Pot world, this would make a good gift for them due to the variety of recipes.

The Quick and Easy Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook is a good reference for those just starting to utilize a pressure cooker as well as those with more experience. One of things that is very useful is the explanation of the different types of pressure cookers, along with “pressure cooking terminology”. There are also explanations of different cooking techniques such as sauteing, simmering and browning, all of which can be done using a pressure cooker. A troubleshooting guide is also provided to help when things don’t go exactly as planned. Breakfast recipes? Check. Sunday Suppers? Check. There are even recipes for shortcut dinners and 30-minute meals. Basically, something for everybody. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to review this book.

I have tried a couple of the recipes in this cookbook and they were top notch. My husband and son are very picky eaters and even they loved the recipes that I tried!

Having just bought my first pressure cooker (from Aldi I might add, its fab), I didn't really know where to start. This book has everything in it I could need to get quick and easy dinners on the table for my family. A fantastic reference point for anyone interested in pressure cooking.

I really like the simple setup. I wish more recipes had pictures, because it helps me figure out what the recipe is by having a visual aid.

Delicious! I have had my instant pot (2, actually) for years. I use them more frequently than most of my appliances. So getting access to this cookbook was amazing. It has so great recipes in it. As well as hints and tips on using your instant pot and how to be successful with it.
