This is an audiobook I won’t be able to finish. It’s not that I don’t want to, but I’ve found that I am out of my depth. This is not a series you can jump into at book 2 and I need to read book 1 first. This isn’t a standalone book and I found myself getting confused at every turn. The story is well written and the narrator does a great job. I got to 24% before I accepted that pushing through wouldn’t allow me to really understand the book, it would just be a notch on a log. So I am going to read book one and then come back.
