Miigweetch NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

Fun, silly, and relatable. This is an easy, breezy read. I enjoyed the comic style and felt it complemented the subject matter. I recommend this to all cohabiting millennials, especially if you find yourself in an “odd couple” situation.

loved everything of this graphic novel/collection of comics! The drawings are so cute and funny. The gags are super fun and incredibly relatable, since me and my boyfriend have the exact same dynamics! I also appreciated the more serious pages about anxiety, self love, mental health: they are subtle and gentle, and make you think about significant stuff with a smile on your face anyway.

A cute, "opposites attract" graphic novel with great artwork and many funny moments featuring Meg (extrovert) and her husband Carson (introvert).

It was the read i needed to take a break from the lengthy books i read nowadays. I read it in one sitting and it wasn't boring at all. The relationship between Meg and Carson was pretty sweet.

A graphic novel definitely worth the read!

Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the opportunity to read an Advanced Copy.

That moment when you open up a graphic novel full of shorts and you immediately recognize yourself in every single one!

I loved this, I giggled and snorted honestly it made me smile.

I absolutely love collections of short comics that depict everyday life. Why Are You Like This is a collection of comics with a millennial take on marriage, adulthood, pet ownership, self-love, and self-care. Each and every one of these comics was so totally relatable, I almost felt like Meg Adams was spying on my life! This book is perfect for fans of Debbie Tung's Book Love and Sarah Anderson's Sarah's Scribbles Collections.

Thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this eARC. Ths graphic novel collection releases on March 7, be sure to preorder your copy now!

This comic is really cute and fun to read. I gotta say that I totally understand the *plant mom vibes*.
The illustrations are very pretty and I love the fact that the dogs are almost always included.

I recommend as a quick read.

CUTE. FUNNY. RELATABLE.
I have followed Meg on Instagram for awhile and was soooo happy to hear she was putting her amazing talents into a book! Many of these comic strips made me actually laugh out loud. The way she draws herself and partner is hilarious and also always fitting. She has a way of being able to match the dialogue with the faces of the characters that I just love. And let's not forgot about those dogs, I mean, their personalities were jumping off the page. The biggest thing about this book that got me is how freaking relatable it is. Her and her partner are eerily similar to me and my partner. I felt like I could have written these ideas as well because many of them have literally happened to us. Or maybe she somehow knew about the things me and partner do and say and react and then put it in a book. So that was kind of strange but also such a fun experience. I don't know the number of times I had to stop and show my partner and say, "Hey look it's us!" Great work Meg!

I received an advance review copy through NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Big thanks to NetGalley & Andrew McMeel Publishing for providing an ARC for free, in exchange for an honest review.

This comic book is seriously amazing! It's an incredible quick read about being a Millenial and has everything what's needed:
- funny one-pager situations
- awesome art direction - its style reminded me of Scott Pilgrim
- great colors! Subtle and tasteful, not provocative or annoying
- some situations were just so relatable, I literally laughed out loud and showed my hubby that HEY IT'S US
- oh, and I liked how the whole comic went through the seasons just like how a year passes

I'll definitely buy it upon publishing and I highly recommend it. I'm excited to hear more about the author and her comics.

This was my first graphic novel and it did not disappoint. I don't think I'll be reading alot of these in the future. But this one has made sure it will not be my last.

I really liked this, but I won't get it due to my patron base. I will be sending the information to other libraries because it is hilarious and relatable!

This was such a delightful read! I enjoyed how relatable a lot of the content was. I also appreciated how the comics were told through the passing seasons. Getting to see the couple navigate the holidays and different preferences with daily life felt heartwarming and real. This is a book that would be a great gift to give to friends and family, and I think would be a great coffee table read for guests!

(I will be posting the above review on my Goodreads account on 01/31/2023)

I have tried multiple times on different devices but cannot open this file, and it's unfortunately not supported by the NetGalley app. I really was excited to read this as it seems like it is completely up my street!

Giving 5 stars until I read it - as it's not the author's fault!

Carson and Meg are complete opposites. Carson is a level-headed introvert. Meg is an animated extrovert. This comic collection shares some of their adventures in their relationship with their two dogs. This relatable collection shares everything from coffee preferences to the trials of anxiety and mental illness.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cute and dorky collection. Gotta say, even though I’m an introvert, I found myself identifying with Meg several times throughout this collection. It’s fun. It’s quirky. There are dogs! Winwinwin. It can be read in a single setting and revisited when you need a laugh or to feel seen. Definitely recommend this one.

I really related to this collection of comics. Overall, the collection had me laughing and smiling from beginning to end. From comics about being a dog owner, to a spouse, to a fall lover, and more, there’s a little bit of everything. As I turned the pages, I felt like I kept seeing little bits of me on the page. A particular favorite comic shows Meg asking if her husband wants to take the dog on a W-A-L-K and then the dog pummeling the husband when he asks why she’s spelling out “walk”. My dog does the exact same thing!

Hilarious and incredibly relatable with an unique style and colorful artwork. I've never heard of this artist before but their take on what millennials go through on a daily basis and the expectations vs. reality of being in a relationship amazed me. I personally related a lot to the allergies one and their passion for Halloween. Plus, the dogs sometimes became the stars of the show for me. They were so cute!!!
I'll definitely check out more comics from the author and go follow them right now!
