Love these excerpts of new releases. It helps to have one area to browse the new things coming. I’m really excited to try to read some of these novels as arcs as they come out.
BUZZ BOOKS is an invaluable for me in previewing and investigating potential Guest Authors for a speaker’s series I chair.
It is also a great resource for any reader who likes to keep informed on new releases in a variety of genres.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for this glimpse into some great titles coming soon! I like that these encompass pretty much everything we could want to make a decision regarding if it's a perfect read for us. Catergorized into 4 sections: Fiction, Debut, Non-Fiction and YA makes this really accessible and easy to sift through without having to spend a lot of time swiping past genres that aren't our cup of tea. (And each one of those sections are divided into smaller sub-genres which is even better).
These titles are on my most anticipated list:
Family Lore- Elizabeth Acevedo
The Dog of The North- Elizabeth McKenzie
Homecoming- Kate Morton
The Golden Spoon- Jessa Maxwell
^& I definitely found so many more that sound amazing!
This is such a great resource for readers who want to research upcoming books. I love going through the entire "book", reading the synopses, and then sampling the ones that I'm interested in. Several of them were not even on my radar and are now added to my TBR; I plan on requesting early copies through NetGalley. I plan on requesting the Buzz Books 2023: Fall/Winter as soon as it comes out.
Thanks #NetGalley !
This is great! So many new books coming out and seeing them makes it much easier to remember. It definitely helps that there are excerpts to some of the books.
I love all the sneak peaks of books coming out this spring and summer. Thank you for making my TBR list unbelievably long, NetGalley!
I really enjoy these sneak peaks of upcoming books every season. I always find several books to pre-order!
I’ve never heard of this publication before and I’m glad I stumbled upon it. I’ll be referring to this often in order to fill my wish list and ARC list. Thanks

Take the Long Way Home by Rochelle Alers (Dafina; pub date August 22, 2023)
The Great Reclamation by Rachel Heng (Riverhead; pub date March 28, 2023)
Paper Names by Susie Luo (Hanover Square; pub date May 2, 2023)

Special thanks to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch for the opportunity to read this digital ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
I always look forward to this publication! I like the summaries and the excerpts, as I see what books to put on my TBR list, or not. I appreciate the effort it takes to compile this. This reader thanks you!
These Buzz Books give me a great insight into what is coming in the year ahead and what topics and trends are happening. As a reader and someone interested in following the publishing industry, it's much appreciated.
Helped get me ready for the upcoming season of reading! So many great titles to look forward to - especially looking forward to Mihret Sibhat’s debut.
I always look forward to and request the Great Reads. They're almost indispensable and I’d like to say they help me narrow down my requests however if truth be told they add a few! 🤣🤣
I absolutely love the buzz books volumes and pick it up whenever I can. I love to look at some of the upcoming fiction and nonfiction and have the opportunity to read and review ahead of publication. I highly recommend this for any reader..
Excellent publication. I found several titles I believe my audience and I will love, and a title by one of my favorite authors that I didn't know had a book releasing this year!
I really enjoy these preview books. They give me great snippets of stories and often hook me on books that I otherwise wouldn't have requested
So many books I can’t wait to read.
Silver Nitrate
The Three of Us
Homebodies
The Adult
The Guest
This is my first Buzz Books issue and what a treat. I would really like a printed version. It's the 55 buzziest books coming out. It includes Fiction, Debut, Nonfiction, & YA. It also gives a sample of each book so you can get a feel for each book. It includes release dates and other various information. I found this very helpful & my tbr has grown. I'll be looking for this each year.
Super helpful thank you!! Found many books to add to my to read pile! Especially excited about many of the debut novels!
Cool way to read upcoming previews- definitely some great upcoming fiction to request, and intriguing peeks into debut author's novels.
