This was cute, and fairly light (even with the heavier topics it touched on) and a quick read. I am always on board with a friends-to-lovers trope, and this was no exception. I was rooting for them the entire time, before they were even rooting for themselves.

It does seem like they realize their ✨feelings✨ for each other rather suddenly and at the same time, so the burn is not SUPER slow… But that is not necessarily a con, just a fact.

I really enjoyed this and loved all of the characters, even the side ones!

This was a quick read but if only due to the fact that the writing style was choppy and simplistic. The banter between Hanna and Easton wasn't authentic and I feel like there wasn't enough tension for it to feel like a true frenemies to lovers. The characters lacked depth for me and the names were a bit too gimmicky for my taste. The plot was predictable and didn't leave much left for the imagination. As far as the spice factor, it was awkward and I skipped through quite a bit of those scenes. Overall I might recommend this to some just starting out with romance but overall it's a pass for me.

This was a quick and easy read full of cuteness and a nice dose of steaminess. Easton and Hanna’s frenemies but not really relationship was fun and they had some good banter. I enjoyed how the introduction of Bear triggered all of those underlying things that both Easton and Hanna were ever letting themselves think about. This is the fifth book in a series but can be read as a stand-alone without getting lost 3.5 ⭐️

I’ve really enjoyed this series and I am looking forward to keeping in touch with these characters through Hanna’s brothers’ stories. This entire series reminds me of a faster paced and more lighthearted Bergman Brothers series or Winston Brothers series. I love the Wilder family and this book made me love Hanna and Easton more. I like the direct communication between the pair and how straightforward they are. This is lighthearted so there isn’t a ton of character development, but it’s an okay amount. This got spicier quicker than I expected, but I think it was pretty well balanced throughout the story. I like that Serena Bell doesn’t change my opinion of previous book characters in this book. I haven’t read every book in the series yet, so this can be read as a standalone, but you’ll want to read more once you start! Only minor issue is that Hanna being bi and another character being nonbinary felt a tiny bit forced. Maybe it’s because I recently read another book with a FMC that was bi but also ended up with a man and it’s just started to feel like a way of throwing in representation. Still and excellent read and I do appreciate the author attempting more representation. 4⭐️, 3🌶

This instalment follows Easton and Hanna’s story. Both come from extremely large families, and the Wilder family own an outdoors activity company that Hanna also works at. When Bear (a outdoors influencer) is here for a campaign, Hanna tries to get his attention, but it’s Easton who is hooked. Whilst Hanna recruits Easton for his help, it’s not long before Easton realises his strong feelings.

This book has some of the best banter I’ve seen, I loved the back and forth between the two characters and the fact that it didn't diminish even when they got together. The transition from co workers to something more was well paced. The large found family aspect was so heartwarming and I found Hanna’s abandonment issues were handled extremely well. Easton was the perfect man, and I especially loved how the family all knew and respected their relationship and the way Hanna processed information.

Thanks to Serena Bell and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received an eARC of this book for my honest review.

I did not realize that this book was part of series, however, you don't need to read the others to read this one. They seem to be standalones, but all have the same characters.

This book follows Hanna and Easton. Hanna and Easton have a frenemies type of relationship. They had great banter and pull pranks on each other all the time. Hanna works for Easton's family at their outdoorsy activity company, Wilder Adventures. Easton is debating on leaving the family business, but has not told anyone except Hanna. Wilder Adventures hires a YouTube star, Bear, to help with marketing to get more interest in Wilder Adventures. Hanna is gushing and starts to develop a crush. Hanna ends up asking for advice on how to get Bear to notice her from Easton by blackmailing him. Easton starts to realize that he has feelings for Hanna, which makes it difficult to help her.

I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. I am going to go back and read all the rest of them and am excited for the new series that is coming out later about Hanna's brothers! I recommend this book if you like friends to lovers trope.

Overall: 4.5
Spice: 2.5

Wilder at last : Serena Bell
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
4/5

I received this book as an ARC and I really enjoyed it. I had no idea it was book 5 of a series but it’s one of those series where the books can stand on their own, too.

Hanna Hott and Easton Wilder have known one another forever it seems like, they grew up together and even work together at Easton’s family’s business. Easton has been there for Hanna through some of her most heartbreaking moments, like when her mom dies when she’s 9, but his loyalty to their friendship has never wavered. It isn’t until an influencer comes to help out Easton’s family with their business and Hanna starts showing interest that Easton realizes his feelings for Hanna go beyond far beyond friendship; Easton is in love.

The witty banter back and forth between E and H is hilarious. There are some spicy scenes but nothing obscene by my standards. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Wilder At Last is the fifth book in the wilder adventures series and I really liked it! I have not yet read the rest of the series but will be definitely going back and reading the rest of the series. This book focuses on the youngest Wilder, Easton and his “enemy” Hanna. Personally it didn’t feel like enemies to lovers to me because it seemed like they were friends more than enemies. Overall I really enjoyed this book and rate it 5/5 stars. I finished it in one day and couldn’t put it down. Next I can’t wait to start the spin off series about Hanna’s brothers. Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for an opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book.

Wilder At Last was the perfect conclusion for the Wilder series. Easton and Hanna have been two of my favorite characters in the Wilder series so I was thrilled to finally read their story. I love the history they shared and the ways Easton was so gentle with Hanna. I'm so excited that the adventures will continue with Hanna's brothers - a fun little nugget to the learn at the end of the Wilder series! :)
Serena Bell did the Wilder brothers (and their significant others) justice with the final book in this series - I was so pleased to read happy endings for all!

Thank you to NetGalley and Author Collective 20, Jelsba Media Group for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

The cover is stunning and that’s what drew me in. I thought the blurb had a fun concept but unfortunately I had to DNF this book around the 50 page mark. I couldn’t get into the writing style, it seemed simplistic and little depth to characters. I can appreciate how this would be a fun read and I can imagine it would be quite a quick read. However, for me, I couldn’t move past the writing style.

A huge thank you to Serena Bell, Jeisba Media Group and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review. Wilder At Last comes out February 7. 2023.

Wilder At Last is a frenemes to lovers romantic comedy, filled with so much humor and romance. Hanna and Easton have known each other since grade school, and while they might not be enemies they also aren't always the friendlest to one another. They both work at Wilder Adventures, Easton's family buisness. Over the years the two have been compared to an arguing old married couple, enough times that they are permanetly banned form working together on projects. That is until they have a celebrity mountain man chef needs two people to help with his tours and both of them want it. Add into the mix that Hanna had developed a crush on said mountain man chef, Bear. Knowing that she is a little akward Hanna requests the help of Easton to turn her in to a girl that gets the guy. Over the course of make over and practice kissing Easton discovers that his feelings might be a little more than platonic, so now he has to figure out how to get the girl.

This was such a cute and funny read, it made me laugh and it melted my heart with all of the romance. I was not aware that it was part of a series so now I am very excited to go back and read the others. Hanna while technically the grumpy charater is loyal and loving towards those in her circle. She has been let down and left in her life and it was lovely to see that even she had a family in the Wilders. Easton was a total cinnamon roll, and it was really fun to watch him go from play boyish to a total simp. I loved the Wilder siblings and their spouses, they added so much humor and warmth. I 10/10 recommed Wilder at last and can not wait to read more from Serena Bell in the future!

I loved this book! I really enjoyed Hanna and the Wilder family. Friends to lovers is my favorite trope. I didn't realize this was part of a series so now I definitely need to get the rest.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for giving me this arc in exchange for an honest review.

It was worth staying up till 4 in the morning to finish this book. Since the beginning, I have eagerly awaited these two, and I am beyond thrilled that they are finally here. And they are flawlessly ideal.

This book contains slow-burning relationships between coworkers, friends, and lovers in a tiny town with a large, loving family. Since they have been friends since they were young, Hanna and Easton are perhaps the only two who truly understand one another. They are renowned for their teasing and making fun of one another. And this book does not attempt to alter that.

When Hanna overhears a chat between Easton and a YouTube star named Bear, who is coming in to assist with Wilder Adventures, she immediately stops what she is doing. When Easton suggests that he might leave Wilder Adventures to work with Bear, Hanna is genuinely astonished. She would, however, adore working beside him as well. She goes outside to the boys and introduces herself rather than lurking and listening in on their talk.

Easton is shocked to see Hanna blushing and truly having feelings for Bear when she starts to develop a crush on him. As time passes, all three of them embark on a hiking trip. As this connection between Hanna and Bear grows, Easton constantly watches out for Hanna. Soon after, Hanna turns to Easton for advice on approaching Bear and practically dating him because she is rusty.

He gives in to her demands to help her. Hanna's top priority was to shop for new clothing. They went shopping together, and he did not let me down as other men may have. He helped her choose clothes in various sizes that she had selected and items that he believed would look nice on her instead of just standing about doing nothing.

When Hanna asks Bear to Kane Wilders's photography opening, he is more than happy to go. However, as night falls, Easton begins to feel differently and is forced to leave since he cannot see Hanna and Bear holding hands.

Hanna accepts Bear's invitation to go on a date. She was anxious about the probable kiss at the end of the date, though. She, therefore, approaches her friend to discuss it. Let's say Easton isn't too excited about the date because Bear plans to record the entire thing and upload it online. Although Easton knows she deserves more, he doesn't want to make her unhappy. He is, however, taken aback when Hanna requests that they practice kissing.

And they do indeed kiss. These two have been suppressing their sentiments, but after that kiss, they are forced to face them head-on. At this point, they are practically all over one another. Oh my God, how I adore them.

My Wilder heart is breaking now that this series is over with. However, the following one will be SO incredible, and we will still get hints of the Wilders, particularly Hanna and Easton!

At first, the dynamic between Hanna and Easton was a little jarring as it seemed like enemies to lovers but then they were friends (which you obviously get from the blurb but still) but once I got settled into the book, I understood it pretty easily.

It was pretty entertaining seeing them become attracted to each other. I love the whole family aspect with the Wilder family. Hannah's character was fun and cool, and I always love a MMC with a panty dropping smile AKA Easton. This book was unputdownable and very easy to devour.

Serena has great wit and supreme chemistry with her characters. This book has banter, romance, and everything nice.

I am eager to read the other books in the series!

Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC!

I enjoyed Hannah and Easton, their banter was fun and it had such a light atmosphere to the story. It was another cutesy romance but it definitely wasn't anything new.

Hanna is trying to win over the celebitchy chef hired by Easton's family. For once, they work together instead of against each other and fall in love along the way...

Love both Hanna and Easton. I enjoy their banter and their fun bickering. Terrific chemistry. Really enjoy it.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

Serena Bell has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I'm a sucker for a good family series and she has plenty! When Hanna's brothers were mentioned I knew we were going to get some more of this small town and I was right! Anyway, Hanna and Easton were great, I loved seeing them grow together throughout the series and discovering their cute back story of growing up together.
