This was a fun book. Reminiscent of Press Here, but unique on its own. Proof is a cloud. They love interacting with children and following along with what Ploof and the kids are doing. This book would be really really fun. It’s story time or made into an interactive, puppet show or story board. It’s simple it’s easy and it just works.
This interactive book is silly and fast moving. It takes cloud watching to a new level. I love that it mixes emotions into the book to provide good discussions during a read aloud.
Perfect for fans of Press Here or the There's a ___ in Your Book series, Ploof is a great friend that encourages play and text interaction for your readers. Great for storytime, small groups, or one-on-one reads. Also, all young friends can create their own Ploof and send on new adventures!
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC
This book is an absolute must have for every imaginative young child. An interactive story that brings the story to life! Meet proof the cloud and let your child help him along his way with a variety of actions designed to make you and your child smile. What a great short story!
This book will be a favorite at storytimes. It has great early literacy skills such as counting, identifying, following directions, emotions, etc. I can’t say enough about this book and I can’t wait to include it in a storytime!
I read this book with and without my kiddos (2 and 7) and enjoyed it very much each time. My children liked interacting with the fun cloud character in various ways! They were giggling together and having so much fun as we read the book! Highly recommended for family reading time!
As a parent, I appreciated how emotions played into the story - helps guide young children with their own emotions!
If you have a 2-4 year old and like interactive books, this one is for you and your kiddo! I appreciated that it was similar to the dot book and the "how to catch a ____" books (other interactive books) but included emotions (scared, etc.). To me that puts this one above the rest. This was a little young for my 4.5. year old but he still enjoyed it and we love anything by Ben Clanton! Definitely a good gift for a three year old and one I'll be purchasing in the future as gifts.
This interactive book takes the fun of seeing things in the clouds to another level. Ploof shares their emotions with readers, often prompting the reader to have the audience help Ploof. Got the opinion of my 5 year old grandson and after reading it at least 5 times in two days, we gave it a thumbs up. Minimal text and engaging illustrations guide readers through common emotions. We clapped our hand to encourage Ploof as well as other actions that made sharing this book a lot of fun. Hoping that it is large enough so that sharing with my larger groups of young families will be possible.
I absolutely loved reading Ploof! This book is sweet, silly, and fast-moving.
As a mom, I think that the intended audience of young children will love it, and I also think that parents and caregivers will enjoy reading it as well. Toddlers and preschoolers want to help and explore and this book provides perfect opportunities for interaction in a lighthearted and fun way. Ploof is engaging, and that is my favorite thing about this book. I also love how aesthetically pleasing it is too. The illustrations are so fun.
I would recommend it to families with young children. It’s adorable. Thank you Tundra Books and NetGalley for the ARC.
Proof is a hit for toddlers! Not only are the illustrations attractively simple, the language chosen is very sweet and engaging and the interactive features are a hit! This book is one that toddlers will ask to read again and again!
What an adorable book! I hope that it is published as a board book because it will make the west book for sharing with littles! Ploof is such a cute little ploof that young readers will love it!
Adorable, fun and interactive book for children! It gets children to be in the story and encourage play! Love it!
A fun and cute book that kids will enjoy interacting with. It's quite basic but I like the level of engagement.
This adorable, engaging and interactive book about a cloud with lots of feelings will delight preschoolers. The fact that it helps them understand and give name to their own various emotions and learn how to encourage others is a benefit that only the adults need to know.
I highly recommend this book!
My thanks to Tundra books for allowing me to access a digital review copy of this book via NetGalley.

Normally I do not like the interactive books, but my kids love them. This book was one that my kids and I both love! I thought it was unique and loved the hide and seek part! That was a blast for my kids. I would buy this book and highly recommend it to anyone with kids ages 2-8. So much fun, all my kids loved it: ages 2,4,&6.
A sweet little interactive book with opportunities for conversations about emotions, and for language development. Perfect for 2-5yo
This is a great book for preschool-aged children to get them engaged. I love the simple pictures and how Ploof shows so many emotions.
OMG, I love this interactive picture book! Ploof is super cute and I love all of the different shapes that Ploof made and that we had to identify other items in the pictures once we found Ploof. I also loved that Ploof turned into Jellyfish, a fun nod to our good friends Narwhal and Jellyfish.
Very cute and expressive, and easy to use the words and illustrations to help include your audience.
I saw this book and immediately requested it because my kids are huge Ben Clanton fans (my oldest learned to read on Narwhal and Jelly books and we are also huge fans of his character Rot!).
This book is ADORABLE. It is an interactive book, which is always a huge hit with my kids. Even though my 8 year old is reading longer chapter books, she still loves picture books and particularly books like this where the reader is invited into the story. I read it first with my 4 year old, who was engaged the entire time and the second we finished immediately asked to read it again. My kids both said this is a book they would like to own, so can’t wait to purchase a copy when it comes out in September and we will for sure request that our library purchases it, too!
I loved the illustrations, they are simple but eye catching. We really enjoyed the details in the pages that have you hunting for the main character, Ploof.
Five stars and we highly recommend!!
