Honestly I was back and forth between 3 and 4 stars because I started out rather confused about how the two cases connected. However, as the story went on and lines were crossed and it started to make more sense I started to enjoy the story a bit more. I did feel like it was a little bit of a slower paced and wouldnt say it was one of my favorites.

"Every Missing Girl" by Leanne Kale Sparks is a rollercoaster ride of suspense and intrigue that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. From the opening lines, Sparks grabs hold of your attention and doesn't let go, weaving a complex narrative that challenges your perceptions and keeps you guessing until the very end.

The novel follows the story of Anna, a young woman who returns to her hometown after ten years to confront the demons of her past. When a local girl goes missing, Anna finds herself drawn into a web of lies, secrets, and deception that threatens to unravel everything she thought she knew about her friends, family, and the town itself.

One of the most compelling aspects of "Every Missing Girl" is Sparks' masterful storytelling. The novel is told in reverse chronological order, with each chapter revealing new layers of the mystery while also shedding light on events that occurred in the past. This unique narrative structure adds an extra layer of tension and complexity to the story, keeping readers engaged and eager to uncover the truth.

Sparks' characters are also expertly crafted, each with their own motivations, secrets, and flaws. From the enigmatic Anna to the charming but sinister townspeople, every character feels fully realized and three-dimensional, making it impossible to predict who can be trusted and who is hiding something.

In addition to its captivating plot and well-developed characters, "Every Missing Girl" also explores deeper themes of guilt, redemption, and the nature of memory. Through Anna's journey, Sparks examines the ways in which our pasts shape who we are and the lengths we will go to protect the ones we love.

Overall, "Every Missing Girl" is a must-read for fans of suspenseful thrillers and psychological dramas. Leanne Kale Sparks has crafted a gripping and unpredictable novel that will keep you guessing until the very end. Prepare to be captivated from the first page to the last.

A suspense filled ride all the way to the shocking suprise ending! A young girl is missing and it's the detectives niece. Things have turned personal. I felt like I was watching a episode of CSI while reading this and trying to piece all the clues together was fun. Although I didn't solve it on my own.

This was requested when I first found out about NetGalley and I had requested so many ARCs that I could not get to all of them before they were archived. I really wanted to get to this one, as it seemed interesting. If I can find this somewhere for a reasonable price, I will try to get it! I am giving this book three stars, as I don't want to give it a good or bad rating, since I did not get to it.

Colorado Rocky Mountains are absolutely stunning but lurking in them is evil no one realized. Detective Kendall and Adam both get wrapped in a traumatic case when Adams niece disappears after a hockey game. Kendall specializes in child abductions and knows the statistics with them being returned alive after a extended period of time. As the investigation continues the secrets are exposed and lies are broken open. Little does anyone know really how close the case really is to Adams family.

This book was fantastic! It kept me on the edge of my seat and I was so in the middle of it that I stayed up all night reading it. I wanted to know everything and as they revealed more secrets I started to think I had figured it out. I was wrong. It really wasnt until the last four to five chapters that you truly could understand what was actually happening. I thought the writing was well done and there was a feeling through the entire book of maybe this will turn out okay. I like that I didnt really know the answers or what was going to happen.

This book was a weird one for me. I took my time getting into it and then by about 30% i was sucked in. Right up until the ending. Then i wanted to throw the book across the room. Are you kidding me? That's how you ended it. And then to hear the way the so called FBI agent was speaking to the characters. This was not a winner for me.

Will they be able to find Frankie before it’s too late? In this thrilling story, Leanne Kale Sparks weaves the threads of this harrowing drama and builds the intensity to a fever pitch.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

I need to go back and read the first book in this series with Kendall Beck!

I think the amount of characters was so so hard to follow and keep track of, as well as kind of unnecessary. The ending I didn’t see coming despite some plot points that were not very believable.

This was a twisty book with a crazy ending, if that’s for you, pick this one up!

I read the first book in this series last year and loved it so when I saw book #2, I knew I had to read it. Kendall’s hunt for Adam’s niece throughout the book kept me guessing for sure. Though the ending isn’t what I expected, it was still enjoyable and tastefully written. Some parts were a little far stretched (Luke’s role) but overall highly recommend!

This book is number 2 in the series . This book was a bit unrealistic and I found myself getting bored. Even though this book is number 2 I dont feel like you need to read number 1 first.

Adam works for his local police department and his best friend Kendall Beck is a federal agent for crimes against children. Neither of them ever thought such a horrific crime would happen to them. That is until Adam’s niece Frankie is snatched up from under the entire family at a hockey game. Can beck and Adam find her before it’s too late? With little no leads the outcome is bleak. Dark lies and secrets by all are bound to come out.

It took me a little bit to get into this book, but once I got into it (about 45% of the way through) I couldn’t put it down.

This book has a lot going on! It has all the twist and turns and kept me wanting more. Just when I thought I had it all figure out, wrong.

Stick with this one. You won’t regret it!

Every Missing Girl
by : Leanne Kale Sparks
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
genre : thriller, mystery, suspense

I feel as if I was hit by a truck. I am not sure how I am suppose to feel after finishing this book. I am speechless and gutted. I don’t want to spoil too much, but know I thought the ending would have been a lot different than what it was.

also, BIG TRIGGER WARNING : sex trafficking + kidnapping with underage girls…

I truly am speechless…by the end of the book, I felt like I was on the case with Adam and Kendall. So the ending felt extremely personal. I haven’t felt this way about a book in a hot minute 👏🏻

Here are some takeaways :
🤍 the way the book sucked me in and made me feel things
🤍 the different cases that all tied into one! I thought that was super cool and nothing like a mystery I’ve read before.
🤍 the characters and how well their stories and personalities were thought out. It was like I had a personal connection to them.

🤷🏻‍♀️ unsure how I feel about it being so lifelike. The plot line for sure could happen and the ending for sure is more realistic than I’ve truly read before

👎🏻 wish there could have been some loose ends tied up at the end (I wanted some more detail on some of the side characters on one of the cases!)

Overall, WOW. I have a feeling this will be a book I think about for a while.

I enjoyed the book and did not predict the twist! Although it’s #2 in a series, you could read it as a stand alone. It was a classic mystery of a girl gone missing. Overall pretty good!!

Didn’t download the book in time. Really wish I would have been able to read because it sounded like it would have been right up my alley!

I loved this follow up to The Wrong Women! It is a sequel but can be read as a stand alone. I love the banter between the agents and love the bad ass that Kendall is. I really like this series and can’t wait to read the next book.

A CSI style mystery novel has FBI agent Kendall Beck and Detective Adam Taylor teaming up to solve two cases: A kidnapping/murder crime and the disappearance of Adam’s niece. Even though this is the second book in a series, I didn’t read the first and can say that this could be a standalone. I always enjoy a good mystery and this was no exception. I did find though that I was getting frustrated with the characters missing clues/overlooking obvious evidence and focussing on far fetched theories. However, I enjoyed the banter between the characters and likes how the author pulled everything together in the end. The ending was good too - not what I was expecting.

Thank you NetGalley, Crooked Lane Books, and Leanne Kale Sparks for the ARC.

I absolutely love this kind of series. Living in the UK, this is fascinating,
The setting of Colorado is very well done and brings me back to my stay many years ago during a skiing vacation.
Kendall Beck and Adam Taylor make a fantastic investigating team even though the subject is a gruesome one, indeed the worst... child trafficking. This is hard to read at times particularly if you have children of your own as it exasperates a constant fear any parent may have.
Very good series, will be reading book 1 now as I really like a strong female lead and look forward to many more books in the series...

This one was on me but I am not the biggest fan of FBI POV. While I enjoyed the story, it was hard for me not to get past the narrator.
