Thank you to the publisher, author and Netgalley for the ARC of this book.

I really enjoyed this read. I know other reviews shared they didn’t like the back and forth between the crimes but I felt they all flowed really well together. I didn’t see the tie between everything coming, which is always a satisfying read when it keeps you engaged and unknowing till the end.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this ARC!

Every Missing Girl, written by Leanne Kale Sparks, is the second book in the Kendall Beck series. However, I read this one as a standalone. I would likely recommend reading the first book in the series, but I was able to read this and understand the plot and characters just fine.

Denver Homicide Detective Adam Taylor teams up with FBI Special Agent Kendall Beck to investigate the kidnapping of a teen, which turns into a cold case. However, when Taylor's niece, Frankie, disappears, it's obvious that a predator is still out there and Beck and Taylor work to find Frankie before it's too late.

This one had be hooked until the end! I loved the character development, which definitely aided in my love of this book. It was fast passed and had me guessing until the end. I highly recommend this one!

FBI Special Agent, Kendall Beck and Detective Adam Taylor team up to investigate a homicide at a store, and uncover evidence of the kidnapping and sale of young girls.
The kidnapping is closer to home when Adam's niece, Frankie, disappears from the hockey rink, practically under their noses after a game.
With many twists and turns, the discovery that the coach is involved in selling drugs to children, they find clues leading to Frankie's kidnappers.
It just shows that you cannot judge a book by it's cover, predators come in all ages, shapes and sizes.

I really enjoyed this police procedural, it was twisty and kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters were believeable and I like the relationship between Kendall and Adam. As a team, they are well matched, Kendall being able to calm Adam's quick tempered nature with a look or a few words.

I hope that this book has several errors fixed. Grammar errors and the biggest error was that in the final chapter, it says "The last thing Poppy should see were the remains of her only child" which is very wrong, as quite a lot of the story was about her child that she had when she was 15.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

So enjoyed Every Missing Girl! The author did an amazing job of laying out and subsequently closing not one, but three different mysteries, without leaving the reader on a cliffhanger.
Normally I do try to figure out whodunnit. And I often am successful. However, I did not anticipate the ending of the individual cases. I certainly didn’t expect the ending, even though the ending Leanne went with is the most logical and realistic.
This is my first book from this author. I’ll definitely be reading more from Leanna Kale Sparks!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The second Kendall Beck book finds the FBI agent teaming with Detective Adam Taylor again when his nieces goes missing. As they race around the clock trying to find, they uncover a more sinister network of human trafficking in Denver.

There were peaks and valleys in terms of slowness in this one for. Overall, I thought it was a decent mystery, but there were some points that were just really slow for me.

I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this ARC, lots going on and all tied nicely together. In places it read like a film rather than a book, with a lot of dialogue and Americanisms (but it is set in America so would expect those.) There were a lot of different plot lines introduced and resolved which moved the story along nicely. I feel like I would have benefitted from having read book one in the series, just for background to some of the characters and story lines, but it does work as a stand alone book too. I will look out for more by this author, especially if the series develops further.

One of the best thrillers I’ve read this year!

Thank you to netgalley & crooked lane books for the arc!

Every missing girl is the second book to feature fbi agent Kendall beck which I had no idea until I found out in goodreads. Highly recommend to read the first book there is some spoilers in here that mention stuff from the first book that I wish I known about!

We follow our main character Kendall Beck who is a FBI agent and our fellow male character Adam Taylor who is a homicide detective in denver Colorado. The two once again meet for a double case that later gradually intertwine each other. A robbery occurs and a murder. Then a young girl goes missing who happens to be detective Adams niece.

Let me tell you! I have never read something so good as this. I’m not very knowledgeable about thriller books as I have only read a few but the writing style is amazing the easy flow and fast paced it gives. So many clues that are given yet I was still shocked at the end that I did not see coming. It’s not a crazy plot twist which I loved because I don’t have to be going back and forward trying to figure things out. Definitely the best ending ever! I can say this is how I would like all thriller books to end .

I received this ARC from Netgalley and the publishers in exchange for an honest review. This is the second of the FBI Special Agent Kendall Beck series. I read the first book in the series and really enjoyed the writing and the characters especially the interaction between Kendall and PD detective Adam Taylor. This book opens up with a double murder at a convenience store in which both Taylor and Beck are called in. Beck is called in because she specializes in missing and exploited children and one is found at the scene. Beck and Taylor later meet up at his niece’s hockey game, Frankie goes missing after the game and that is when the action really starts. Adam is terrified for his niece and is having problems trying to keep calm as they investigate her disappearance. He is eventually taken off the case and told to concentrate on the convenience store killings. But Beck and Taylor still seem to run in to each other because their investigation is leading them to some of the same places. Are these cases connected, did Frankie runaway or was she kidnapped, why is everyone that is being questioned tell half-truths. Pick up this exciting and fast paced novel that will keep you guessing with its twists and turns.

This book has broke my heart. I did read the first book in this series and I can honestly say this one is so much better. It was fast paced and more interesting. I like the idea of Kendall and Adam investigating different crimes but coming together. The plot was well researched and felt real even if it did make me feel slightly ill. Kendell holds a special place in my heart and it was nice to see her moving on and growing as a character. I can’t wait to see what she is up to next. Adam’s niece has been kidnapped so this book felt more personal I had so may mixed emotions. The ending was threw me it broke my heart and I wasn’t expecting it. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend.

First, I would like to thank NetGalley for the ARC to review. Secondly, I couldn't put this book down! I absolutely devoured every word and was never bored.

I was captured by the writing early on and really enjoyed the main characters and their interactions, especially FBI Agent Kendall Beck's snark and wit. This is the second Kendall Beck book but, it is not necessary to read the first beforehand since there is a lot of description about the first book in this novel. That said, I will definitely pick up the first one now since this was such a good read.

This novel is fast paced and the mysteries are written well. Sparks provides the reader with many clues for the cases being solved and a couple of clues seem to fall through the cracks. I was fairly certain who the traffickers would be based on the original interaction that Kendall had with them but, I still enjoyed the ride as a whole. The ending was great and changed this from being just a fun book to get out of a reading slump to a book I will actually talk to others about. Sparks has made a fan today.

I highly recommend, especially if you enjoy crime/mystery novels.
