Charlotte Gill's "Almost Brown" was a wonder. It was intriguing, powerful, and utterly exploratory. This, however, might not appeal to the masses but to the niche that knows exactly what this mixed-race experience, or drifts on the outskirts of it, is like. It leaves little room to immerse yourself into it from the outside, but it really is a personal journey for those that have been in Charlotte's shoes.
