I had high hopes for this book but it feel a little flat for me. The plot was interesting but I feel like some spots didn't live up to others. I liked the characters but didn't fall in love with them.

I learned a lot from reading this book.
-Killing is good for your complexion and instagram follower count.
-Men should come with wristbands so we can tell the difference between the good ones and the bad ones. Women should display a copy of this book to remind men that we are the ones handing out the wristbands.
-Sarcasm and a healthy ego makes killing more palatable.
-Dexter might not be the best role model.

I loved this one! Definitely for the fans of Finalay Donovan. I loved the general concept of this book and how love/hope was still in this book. The only thing I would have liked more was I just wish it was a bit more punchy with the twists. I loved the double cross at the end but I feel like the relationship could have been exploited more. So excited to continue the series!

I. Loved. This! This book was a great break from some of the others out right now! It was a fun and quick read that leaves you cheering for the main character and all her flaws!

I was really excited for this book - the description sounded really promising and I felt so lucky to get an early copy to read. Unfortunately I DNF'ed it around Chapter 15 (close to 25% of the way through maybe). The main character, Kitty, is sort of awful. It's possible that is the intention of the book, she's obviously killing people, but she isn't likeable and she is VERY contradictory. She 'doesn't want to promote eating disorders' but blindly promotes skinny tea on her Instagram without even checking what it is. She doesn't like when a club separates influencers by follower count but she introduces her friends in the book by follower count. She says she doesn't do the "wolverine" (holding your keys between your fingers) but did so in an earlier chapter. The ways she handled her situations in the book were also so far fetched and didn't really make any sense. It seems like she left a lot of lose ends and things to chance. It's possible that the book is supposed to be slightly sattire because of the comments it makes about f*ckboys and how men treat women... but it was a stretch if so.

DNF at 20%
I almost DNF’d immediately after the first few pages talked about the MC’s “influencer” job and how she has milllions of followers and all she has to do is post one or two photos a day of what she’s doing.
Instead, I stayed for as much as I could. But I just could not. It sounds like it was written by someone who is desperate to be annoyingly rich. The amount of designer name droppings throughout the book could’ve been spent on actually building any character ever in the book.
While I love a good feminist revenge type of book, this was whiny, poorly written, and annoying. Not to mention wildly inaccurate and trying to be so on trend with the world - it will age horribly. Lastly, also promoted eating disorders - always a no from me. .

This book was so fun!! It kept me entertained the whole time! I highly suggest it to those who like a thrill with a little bit of humor mixed in!

If you like Dexter you will enjoy this one. It had some funny moments. It was a very interested Kitty Collins character that I loved instantly. I would remind everyone that this is not a cute cozy book. It was dark and wonderful loved every page.

Of course, the title and cover got me. The whole book wasn’t realistic at all, but I was totally expecting that. It’s dark, witty, sarcastic and fast paced throughout. There was a lot of name dropping and pop culture jargon but that just made Kitty much more believable as the deceptive and annoying character she’s supposed to be. And she wasn’t ashamed of any of it. There was one point in the book where my heart just dropped (right before Kitty also went into shock), but I still wanted to know what would happen. So yes; I was hooked. The ending? Clever. Very much on brand.
I received a digital ARC of this book from NetGalley and the publisher, in return for my honest opinion.

What a roller coaster ride! Kitty is an Influencer AND a killer. She wants to get rid of men who rape, beat, and abuse women. Yet tries to live a normal life. If the reader can suspend belief at times, you'd really enjoy this book! Fast and enjoyable read. Kitty to the rescue! And some how I don't feel bad about the victims. 4 stars

Thank you Harper 360 and netgalley for giving me this ARC.
I really enjoyed this book. I love an unlikeable protagonist and Kitty Collins is that. She's the stereotypical instagram influencer that had money first who happens to be a serial killer. There are times you want her to be caught, but others you definitely want her to succeed. I ended up loving the way her past was sprinkled into the story as it progressed. Very much Dexter vibes, in a good way.

Kitty gives off strong Joe Goldberg/Dexter Morgan vibes but the book didn’t quite hit the mark. Kitty wasn’t a hero to root for. She seemed too into herself which is probable since she is an Instagram Influencer. I wanted to love this book but it wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be.

This book was crazy!!! Kitty is an Instagram influencer who does not care for men who harm women. Kitty definitely took things in her own hands. How she was able to take “care of business” and then act like nothing afterwards was mind blowing!!! This book was heavy and you will definitely want to check trigger warnings beforehand.
Also, I understand what took place in her childhood and why she chose to become a vegan, however it was brought up more than necessary. Overall it was an interesting and page turning read.
Thank you netgalley, the author and publisher for allowing me to read an advanced copy for my honest review.

This was an interesting read and its giving Promising Young Women, female Dexter vibes. I like how throughout the story we keep getting more history about Kitty and that this isn’t the first time she has killed or hurt people that hurt her or people she loved. The twist at the end was great and I didn’t see it coming at all. I love that even though Kitty is mostly the bad guy if not morally grey since she is killing men who she decides deserve it even if the first one was an accident that she still is human and can make mistakes and feel guilt for what she has done when she gets the wrong guy. So not totally a sociopath since she does have some empathy but she is very good at killing and dismembering the bodies for disposal and very practical about it since she is an heiress of a meat packing empire so she at least has somewhere to dispose of the bodies hence why she is vegan. You just don't know what is in your food.
Thanks to Harper360 and Netgalley for the complimentary copy of this book in e-book form. All opinions in this review are my own.

This book seemed pretty dark at first, but had some humorous moments. It came off as a female Dexter and that was something that drew me in because I loved that character. However, throughout the book, I felt more and more annoyed with Kitty.
I found myself rolling my eyes at a lot of the things she said and did.
It was a pretty easy read though, so I was able to get done with it in a few days.

This book was snarky, violent, unbelievable and just so GOOD.
Kitty Collins is an Instagram Influencer who has a secret hobby --- killing scummy men. The fact that she is the reluctant heiress of a meat empire makes for easy disposal of her prey. But one of her followers is watching her every move -- and she will have to outsmart her stalker to stay out of jail.
This book was sarcastic and filled with lots of dark humor that I loved. Not for the faint of heart!

Dark and hard to read at times but I like the concept of an avenging angel serial killer. A female Joe Goldberg but with more of a rightful mission lol. Good twists and really liked Charlie. Unlike anything I've ever read. Could be a series tbh and has us rooting for her and her love!

If you're exhausted with the never-ending atrocities that men commit against women, you may enjoy this one. It was a bit of a Dexter, morally-grey vibe to it. I couldn't stop reading because I just had to know what crazy thing Kitty would do next. Is it realistic? Well, not really. But if you are willing to just go along for the ride, it's a fun one. I did appreciate that Brent included some of the unintended side-effects of vigilante justice as well. I definitely recommend this one!
A huge thank you to the author and the publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

Oh, I wanted to love this book but so sad it was not for me. I love Dexter and it was a little like a female version but no. I love the title and the cover but the story was just so all over the place. Kitty, she was just not a likable character. Unlike Dexter who I liked right away and who had a reason for killing. Kitty was just falling into killing and then justifying it. Then there is the whole thing about not killing animals but totally into killing men. What the???? I was gifted this book from NetGalley and Harper 360 for the ARC, for an honest review. Well, this is a very honest review.

This was a fun, feminist-ish slasher beach-read that I devoured within like 2 days. The action begins quickly, and the story is fast-paced through the end of the book. Some pieces of the story were a little convoluted and there are primary aspects of the protagonist that aren't really relatable, but the female rage that is manifested throughout the story is something that I really enjoyed reading/vicariuosly taking part in. A fun single read, but I probably won't be coming back to this book in the near future!
