So I started this book because it made me think of a video game. What I didn't realize was that it was the conclusion to an epic story. I find myself already impressed but finishing it would mean spoiling a world I'd like to explore from the beginning
I received a copy all opinions are my own

Rapunzels and Powers is Dex and Grayson’s story that has sadly come to an end. I have to say that I am sorry to see their story end. I have truly enjoyed going with them on their journeys. I love the pups that they saved and are still trying to save now in Rapunzels and Powers.

Rapunzels and Powers is so well written that I had no problem whatsoever seeing the whole thing as it played out. I loved seeing Grayson use her magic. I saw her magic with many different colors all at once. It lit up the whole room so to speak like a ley line maybe. Did I say or spell that correctly?

Rapunzels and Powers is a fast-paced, thrilling, edge-of-your-seat scary kind of read that will keep you turning the pages none stop from beginning to end. Rapunzels and Powers will pull you into its depths so far that you will not know what hit you and before you know or want it to happen the next thing you know you have turned to that last page.

I loved getting to see a glimpse into Dex and Grayson’s world when they were small children. Grayson is a very powerful and stronger person. Her magic has been stronger longer than anyone knew. I love what her parents tried to do with the goldfish although the ending of that story could be tragic for all of them. I do believe they had good intentions.

I loved that big twist of an ending and how it all came together and tied up Dex and Grayson's story quite nicely I must say. I am going to miss Dex and Grayson but with any hope, we could get a glimpse of them in another story.

I highly recommend Rapunzels and Powers to all fans of fairy tale retellings. Grab your copy of Rapunzels and Powers today!

I wish there was more to the ending. This was a good book but I feel like it was a little lacking at the end

Bauer does it again in this conclusion to the story of Dex and Grayson. The fated mates must make the Rapunzel fairy tale work for them or be forever apart.

Rapunzels and Powers (Book 10, Fairy Tales of the Magicorum) - Christina Bauer

I was given a copy of this book through NetGalley to provide an honest review.

Christina Bauer is an American author who writes many fantasy stories. Besides the “Angelbound Origin” and the “Angelbound Offspring series she has also written the “Pixieland Diaries” and the “Beholder” series plus many more.

Once again, we are introduced to the Story of Grayson and Dex. For those of you who are unfamiliar with their story - Dex is a wolf shifter but he is also the Alpha that guards Wulfhelm and protects the precious Mir. Grayson has been kept prisoner since she was a little girl by the evil Lady R and the loathsome Prism Master. They have hidden the truth from her all these years – she is really a wolf shifter and something else – something powerful.

Yet Dex and Grayson are fated mates and together their goal is restoring power to Wulfhelm, protect the pack and put an end to the evil schemes of Lady R and the Prism master.

In order to achieve this Grayson needs to come into her own and fully realise her own powers and believe in herself; and they will only be only to do this together.

“Rapunzels and Powers” while note the conclusion to the series itself, if it is the conclusion to Dex and Grayson’s story which for me is sad and frustrating. The story was well written and enjoyable, but I feel like there is more to be told and not all the loose ends were tied up enough – there were more questions than answers for me. Especially with this line the author used “Our struggle could be done. It’s just beginning.”

I would recommend this book. Overall, I think this was a fun and quick read. The main criticism that I have is that I wish there was more to the ending, which I guess it a good problem to have.

This book is the conclusion to the story of Grayson and Dex as they try to stop the evil Lady R and the Prism Master once and for all. This time they also learn a bit more about their pasts and race against the clock to save the ones they love from harm.

I enjoyed the book, but again I feel like I wanted more to the story. I did like the images of characters/places that are throughout the book. In previous books in this series, the pictures did not always line up with what I imagined. These images seemed to really align with what I was imagining, which was interesting to see on paper. I am a huge Christina Bauer fan, and her books are always so unique and fun. I hope to read more books with her other series.

Good conclusion to the story. (I still hate cliffhangers) Loved finding out about Brutus and his Vita and how Grayson's mirror magic worked.

A decent ending to the story. A shame to lose the Jane Eyre thread so completely (with no resolution). Enjoyed Alice and Snow White additions, but honestly the whole thing felt terribly rushed. No explanation of what happens to Jocasta and Taryn, not enough explanation of Elise. Language still a bit weak for me. The story is decent but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

2.5 stars.

This book concludes the story of DeX and Grayson. An elf and a wolf shifter. At times I rooted for them and at times I thought the story may not end well for them. But I'm not telling! A good story that will keep your interest. Love the characters! Ms. Bauer spins great stories! Thanks #netgalley and #MonsterHouseBooks for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.

I like the tie ins with characters from other books in the series. Not many in this books, but I like seeing the characters. I never know who will be a guest in the book I'm reading. I like the story lines and how Ms. Bauer is able to do a twist on a family story.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the ending to Dex and Grayson's story more than the other two books that make up the Rapunzel trilogy within the Fairy Tales of the Magicorum series.
Resolution to the troubles Dex and Grayson face come in bits and pieces as the story moves forward with a grand finale that was definitely worth waiting for. I enjoy the way the author continues to build our understanding of her version of the Faerie lands.
I think readers will find this a great addition to the Fairy Tales of the Magicorum.

Rapunzels & Powers is the last story of Dex and Grayson.

They are awakened by the new mirror, that shows Grayson as a kid. She was a very powerful little girl, so all that power must be still hidden deep down.

Grayson receives a prophecy that she is not keen on following, but when Prism master invades the Wulfheim, they have no choice, but to try and save the pups and their land.

It's face paced, full of twists and turns and written so well. As I read I felt like I was right there in the middle of the story. I loved reading it!

An enjoyable conclusion to Grayson and Dex’s story! Grayson and Dex have to overcome several challenges to save their home and stop Lady R and the Prism Master. However, Grayson and a Dex need to understand the past before they can stop the evil that Lady R and the Prism Master plan to bring about. I enjoyed the alternating views of Grayson and Dex, which gave incite into what each was thinking since both have history, knowingly and unknowingly with the villains. We follow Dex and Grayson on their adventures and see their love grow for one another. With the help of some magic mirrors and friends, Dex and Grayson forge ahead to stop the evil before it destroys everything they love. I received this novel from net galley and the publisher as an ARC. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Grayson and Dex are visited by … Grayson. Yes, you read that correctly. Grayson’s six-year-old self opened a portal into her future and cast a prophecy for herself. One of the fascinating parts of this short novel is the knowledge of Dex and Grayson when younger. Readers will learn more about who they are by reading about what they went through. There are twists and turns throughout, yet their storyline is wrapped up neatly. Dex and Grayson’s story has ended in this tenth book in the Fairy Tales of the Magicorum series yet this world is so complex, I can predict there will be more books set in this world.

Grayson and Dex awaken to see a portal forming before them. It takes some time for the image to appear, but it seems to be a young Grayson,,aged about 6 years old.

The images they see reveal that young Grayson was more powerful than previously thought and young Grayson was able to cast a prophecy for her future self.

It turns out that the Prism Master is intent on invading Wulfheim. He has amassed a huge army. In a confrontation with the Prism Master,  somehow Grayson manages to save the pups from poisoning by trapping them safely in her pendant.

With the Muster Tree destroyed, Grayson and Dex have no option but to go for the 3 osmos mirrors. The first of those being at Snow White's castle.

Having beaten Snow White and her enchanted slippers that keep a person dancing until they drop to their death, the next mirror is to be found in Wonderland.

At the second mirror they encounter the Prism Master when he was just the Prism Apprentice, with delusions of grandeur.

The next mirror is to be found at the original Rapunzel tower. Once again, our invincible duo are successful in their endeavour leading to a happy and triumphant outcome.for all our favourite characters.

The book was, as always, very well written and the pace kept me engaged. My only complaint....it was finished before I was ready!! I thoroughly recommend this title.
