This is book #4 in this series by Kathleen Fuller. This book centers around Olivia and Kingston. Olivia is a librarian and Kingston is a pediatrician. Both are very dedicated to their jobs and workaholics. Even though they are childhood friends and Kingston's sister is Olivia's best friends, they have never been more than friends. Until a chance meeting at a movie theater changes all of that. However, Kingston's dedication to being a doctor and all of the other places he volunteers and works at, leaves little time for a relationship. Friends fix them up to dance together at the new dance studio. There are ups and downs there. Read this book to see what happens and the outcome. Will Olivia and Kingston end up together or will their careers continue to take priority in their lives?
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
Another delightful Maple Falls romance! I look forward to these each year, and Two to Tango fit the bill. This far into the series, things can start to feel formulaic, but Fuller broke the pattern in a couple different ways that kept me guessing. Yes, we still know who's getting together right from the start--that's part of the fun--but there were some twists and turns I didn't see coming that are helping to keep this series feeling fresh.
My only critique is that some of the language felt a bit clunky in parts, like I could see the writer's hand more than I have in the past. A minor distraction, and not one that kept me from turning pages. Still, I hope things are smoother in the next one, which I'm already looking forward to!
This book was a joy to read! It has wonderful characters and a great plot that will keep you turning the pages. It's a fun read that was absolutely perfect! Grab this book and settle in for a delightful read.

"But good gravy on a biscuit, was he gorgeous."
Best friends brother, enemies to more, second chance, dancing, small town, fake dating, two romances, growth, two very different moms, and I know I already said it but a really great small town. So much delight wrapped up in an adorable cover.
Kingston and Olivia were very cute and such a great end to this series of friends falling in love. It was great to see the other couples and zany characters of the town again and I absolutely recommend these books to everyone!
Thank you @netgalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
- best friends brother 🥳
- I haven't seen many classic movies but every once in a while, I think I'd like to. So I watched Gone With the Wind. I need to watch another one soon. Maybe Casablanca?
- Kingston! What on earth.
- well, she comes by her intense personality honestly
- oh Erma 😅
- 🤣
- so many good tropes going on here!
- those YA books from the cart sounds so good. Just based on titles and covers.
- "nary a tingle" I don't know why but this entertained me to no end
- oh, Karen. You might not be subtle but who needs subtlety when you're that effective
- I love Erma's story
- the movie. That's the absolute sweetest
- I like this town.
“Two to Tango” is the fourth and final book in the Maple Falls Romance series. This story focuses on Olivia, the town’s librarian, who is in a major dating rut. She takes a chance with her best friend’s brother, only to get burned, TWICE. The Bosom Buddies, the BB’s, are a group of older women who are scheming to get them together. What follows is an enjoyable story about taking a chance on love.
Kathleen Fuller is one of my favorite authors! This book does not disappoint. I love all of the references to the classic movies too. The side story about the romance for one of the BB’s is also enjoyable. Many thanks to the author, Thomas Nelson Publishing, and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
What another cute and fun read by one of my very favorite authors!
I simply love loved this book!!
The BB's have really made this series a lot of fun, and I enjoyed getting to know them. I'd love to have them as my BFF's!
When you first meet these ladies, it's as if you'd known them your whole life!
Fuller knows just how to work her magic to the fullest, lol! Her heart is at the very core of this series or any of her other books.
I tried to take my time with and savor this book, but well..... I couldn't help myself it was soooooo good! I finished this in a day!
Sometimes, it just has to be the right time. I love to say only on God's timing, not ours, because sometimes you just have to take a step back for a little while to mature, and then maybe?????
You'll just have to read this book to find out if they make it or not!
Let's just say that lots of emotions fly really fast throughout this book.
I really applauded Aunt Bea for being a great character. I have an aunt like her. She's my favorite person in the whole world.
Olivia Farnsworth is a really lucky gal, in my opinion.
Everything in this story was my favorite. It was hard to pinpoint just one thing.
I guess it would have to be the romance. Not too mushy but just enough. Fuller did a nice job with it.
5 stars for a delightful read and a faith filled journey.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Small town romances have an inexplicable charm that captures my heart and makes me feel truly at home. There's something undeniably comforting about the quaintness, simplicity, and genuine warmth that radiates from these stories.
In the pages of a small town romance, I find myself immersed in a world where everyone knows each other's names, where neighbors become friends, and where the sense of community is palpable. It's a place where the pace of life slows down, allowing for deeper connections and meaningful relationships to flourish.
These stories evoke a sense of nostalgia, reminding me of the simpler times and the close-knit bonds that can be forged within the intimate confines of a small town. They transport me to a place where life's complexities are momentarily set aside, and the focus shifts to the beauty of everyday moments and the magic of falling in love.
In the embrace of a small town romance, I am enveloped in a feeling of tranquility. The bustling city streets and the constant noise fade into the background, replaced by the serene landscapes, picturesque streets, and the gentle hum of a close community. It's a world where time slows down, allowing me to savor the small joys, appreciate the beauty of nature, and indulge in the simple pleasures that life has to offer.
Moreover, small town romances often showcase characters who are relatable, down-to-earth, and easy to connect with. They embody the values of kindness, resilience, and compassion that are often associated with small-town living. These characters feel like friends, their stories intertwining with my own experiences and making me root for their happily ever afters.
Perhaps what I love most about small town romances is the sense of peace they bring. They remind me that there's beauty and love to be found in the ordinary, everyday moments. They inspire me to seek out the simple pleasures, cherish the relationships that matter most, and embrace the tranquility that comes with living in a close-knit community.
In a world that often feels fast-paced and overwhelming, small town romances provide a much-needed respite—a literary haven where I can escape, recharge, and rediscover the beauty of love and connection. They remind me that no matter where we live, the power of love and the comfort of a supportive community can always make us feel at home
I enjoyed this read, and it was actually pretty fun, but I wasn’t fully convinced at the end that Kingston had had enough to time to show that he had really changed.
I received this complimentary book from the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
#BookRevew: TWO TO TANGO by Kathleen Fuller
The fourth installment of the A Maple Falls Romance series was a pleasure to read. I have always enjoyed the meddling of the Bosom Buddies, as they are always entertaining and genuinely care for their town and the people they love. However, inviting Kington's mother into their plan made things more complicated. The dance lessons were fun to read.
The obstacles that Olivia and Kingston had to overcome in order to be together were numerous. While this was fine, I felt like I wanted to see more of them spending time together.I wanted both of them to be strong and capable, able to stand up to Kingston's mother. This took some time to develop. Their characters were flawed but it was still a sweet romance. I was happy when they worked things out to be together in the end.

I found this fourth of the series to be a delightfully fun read with laugh out loud moments, especially with the meddling older ladies' friends' group, the Bosom Buddies (BB's). Olivia is the only one of the younger group of girlfriends that is not married, and she feels left out at times. She does love her life as head librarian and her routine but admits to herself that she is in a rut the size of the Grand Canyon. When she and her best friend Anita's brother Kingston have a chance meeting at a movie, sparks fly. They planned to have a date, but Kingston dropped the ball because of his busy schedule. Twice. A year later and they meet again and there are sparks of anger on Olivia's part. Olivia's Aunt Bea, Kingston's mom, and the BB's come up with a plan to get them together. What a mess! There is certainly a lot of work to be done for that to happen. A side romance for one the BB's comes up too. Sweet romance and HEA. I highly recommend this one and the whole series. I received a copy for the purpose of an honest review.
This is a cute book and a great addition to the Maple Falls Romance series. Olivia is perfectly fine living her own life until she gets swept off her feet. Only problem is, she was only swept off her feet for a night and then he is too busy to call her. Kingston, a pediatrician, is burning the candle at both ends and gets unexpectedly put on a forced sabbatical. He has two months to figure out his priorities (and how to say no, especially to his mother). I don't want to ruin the story, but there are quite a bit of matchmaking hijinks involved and sweet moments for many of the other characters in Maple Falls. Highly recommend for lovers of romance.
"She couldn't imagine him being anything but the perfect gentleman. Although she'd just discovered firsthand that he was a little wicked around the edges."
I received an eARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I enjoy books and series set in small towns. I like seeing how characters from other books are doing. It’s a different kind of life and I love the pace and the relationships.
I think it’s hysterical that the BBs are still up to their matchmaking ways. When they turn on one of their own, it gets even funnier. I enjoyed seeing Erma squirm.
I found it a little hard to relate to Olivia and Kingston. Both of their lives are a little out of control but in different ways. I felt I got to know them better individually than I did as a couple. I would have preferred seeing them together more. Still it was a fun read.
Thank you to Thomas Nelson for providing me with a free e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
Kathleen Fuller's Maple Falls series has been kind of hit or miss for me, as while I didn't end up enjoying the first two titles in the series as much I'd expected to, I thought the third title was a wonderful romance, which ended up being a pleasant surprise. I was hopeful this one would end up being another lovely addition to the series, especially since the synopsis sounded sweet and charming.
I usually love titles that have a "bookish" element, so the fact that Olivia was the town's librarian already had this one moving in the right direction. Unfortunately, her character wasn't exactly what I was expecting or hoping for, and she was kind of hard to relate to, and slightly unlikeable. Kingston wasn't a character I ended up enjoying either, especially since he often seemed scatterbrained, and completely out of touch with reality. While the romance could have been swoon worthy and adorable, instead it reads as insta-love, and even more precisely, insta-lust, and I had a hard time believing their feelings developed as fast as they did. Without giving spoilers away, I also felt a lot of the drama that existed between the two of them over the issues in their relationship seemed blown out of proportion, and all could have been resolved if they'd simply taken the time to truly talk things out. However, this book also includes a wonderful romance between two of the older residents of Maple Falls, and that one I wholeheartedly enjoyed, and was more than happy with how it wrapped up.
All in all, it was nice to get one last visit to the (fictional) town of Maple Falls, but I have to say that this series overall has been a miss for me. While the setting is lovely, many of the characters are a hoot, and they all have a really great plot set up, the execution generally ends up feeling to me like something is missing by the end of the story, and that was the case again here. Also, I really wish that books marketed as "Christian" fiction would actually have a faith element included, instead of just a few superficial mentions of attending church.
Final Rating: 3/5.
A cute romance that stays fairly clean, but with a disjointed plotline and characters that were unlikeable and unrelatable, I don't foresee myself rereading this one again in the future.
Thanks so much to Thomas Nelson for allowing me to read and review this one!
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary advance reader copy of this novel from the publisher (Thomas Nelson) via NetGalley. I was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own, and this is my honest review.
A great story, with tones of finding oneself as well as finding love. I love that there was a degree of uncertainty even right up to the end of the book and I love how Olivia and Kingston's characters developed through the story.
Well written and a joy to read. I would have liked to see more about their lives after finding each other again though, before the bigger happy ending. I love having more background and description in a story.
I wanted to like this book, but it was a non-starter for me. The story includes some disjointed jumps which confused me because there seemed to be little purpose. Neither main character was appealing and the plot was too obviously trope-based to make for an enjoyable read.
A delightful read. I loved how a group of friends orchestrated this romance.
Many thanks to Thomas Nelson Fiction and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion
Good book someone who is looking for a quick and light romance mood. Characters are fun and likeable. Recommend.
Fourth in the series but the author does a great job giving enough background to satisfy readers who have not read the first three. Having not read the previous books, I look forward to reading them. Great example of small town living with everyone knowing your business. Very light hearted and fun to read. Very enjoyable! Receiveded.
I received a reader's copy by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book.
This is a cute love story and enjoyed it. However is is part of a series and I should have read the previous books to get full story and characters.
Very sweet story about a second (maybe even fourth?) chance at love. This is part of a series, but this book was definitely stand alone. Yes, I will be reading all of the previous books in this series! She did a great job creating the small town feel, and the side characters were just as special and mischievous as the main characters. I love the introspection that both main characters went through. It really showed that boundaries are important at any age in life.
