This was a very cute book. I enjoyed the small town feel of the setting. It was clear that this was the type of town where everybody knows everybody and everybody knows everybody’s business. I love those kinds of settings. The bosom buddies and the chick clique were both super fun, and I loved that they made fun of their own group name. It’s great when a book can laugh at itself.
Kingston and Olivia were both super cute and had great chemistry. I could imagine them being a great couple long term and therefore found their love story believable. I also enjoyed the secondary love story involving a member of the bosom buddies. I actually almost liked that love story more than the main one.
Kingston and Olivia did get on my nerves at some points because they drug out the drama a bit long for my personal tastes, but overall I really enjoyed it. I plan on reading more from this author.
Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for providing me a review copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
3.5 stars, rounded up.
Olivia Farnsworth is a librarian with a routine. That is, she goes to bed by the same time each night. She goes to see a vintage film the same time each month and she sits in the same seat, in the same row. Her life is organised. And… apparently people think she’s lonely.
Kingston Bedford is a doctor, and an overworked one at that. He’s stretched himself too thin and has started to make mistakes. An enforced sabbatical results in him joining a dance class (coerced by his mother) and once again bumping into Olivia.
Again? Well yes, she’s his sister’s childhood best friend and they actually bumped into each other at the vintage movie night. Oh, and they made out. But then he never called… because he was too busy.
Suddenly everyone decides that these two need to be together, and matchmaking sparks fly.
Unfortunately for me, reader sparks didn’t fly quite as much. While it was a pleasant enough read, I didn’t feel like I was IN the story. I couldn’t get into the characters (neither of the two main characters) and a lot of it just felt forced.
I haven’t read the rest of the books in the Maple Falls series, hence why I have rounded up, as it may well be that I was missing backstory for it to really pique my interest.
A pleasant romantic read, but didn’t float my boat enough.
Reading Two to Tango as a standalone was a bit difficult as there are ALOT of characters- from the BBs to the CCs. I caught up with the backstory pretty quickly, but would often get confused with the characters, especially from the older set. BUT this was a charming read of a story. I liked Kingston and Olivia and appreciated their storyline. I thought the dance lessons would feature in more between the two of them, especially with the title and the cover. Also, it seemed to me that part of Olivia's backstory was her parents' neurodiversity, but while describing their quirks, it didn't really go there and maybe it would have made a richer story if it did. All and all, a solid 3.5 star read, rounded up to 4. .
Thanks #NetGalley and Thomas Nelson fiction for the ARC.
A sweet romance and enjoyable conclusion to this series. Two people who are in love but can't seem to connect. Olivia has convinced herself she is fine with being single and so doesn't pursue Kingston when he drops the ball twice on dating her. Kingston is good at lots of stuff as a doctor and commits himself to the point of over extension. The story is about choosing to love and finding the correct balance in life.
I received an ARC copy of the book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.
Olivia Farnsworth has a plan and she has no space for spontaneity. She tells herself that she’s happy with her routine but the question is; is she really happy and content when her group of friends, Riley, Anita, and Harper have gotten married and are slowly starting their own families.
I have been waiting for Kingston’s story from the beginning of this series. And finally, I got it! To be honest, it never occurred to me that Olivia needed her own story, but it became very clear that she was a sweet, smart woman who needed someone like Kingston and he needed someone like her in hers. A Two to Tango was my absolute favorite in this series, I read this in one sitting!
My gratitude Netgalley and Thomas Nelson. All opinions expressed are mine.
This book is written for those who follow the series. It is unreadable stand alone so I have made a mistake by picking it up.
As a new reader, within the first pages I was overwhelmed with many names thrown at me. Who are these people? Why do I care? Why do I need to know every person's name who passes by, especially if you never hear about them again? How is this relevant or adding to the story?
The main heroine is odd to put it mildly. I would have been fine if we were told that she has Asperger's, then it would make sense. But for a regular person, she seemed extremely difficult and unlikeable. I do not know why the hero would be suddenly attracted to her because nothing about her seemed attractive.
Unfortunately within the next barely readable chapters, the story stars revolving about other people and from their perspective. Suddenly everyone from different generations in this family is having a love story in this book. The dialogues are on an edge of absurdity or boredom, and every chapter is full of them. These people just go on and on. There are no developments of the characters, just this inane chatter by a new character so eventually I gave up and did not finish.
Thanks to Netgalley for a free copy in exchange of an honest review.
Two to Tango is Kathleen Fuller's latest story set in Maple Springs. I adored this book. It is about Olivia, one of the CC's: four best friends who meet weekly and share life with each other. The previous books have followed the romances of each of them and now we have Olivia and Kingston's story. Olivia is a planner. Full throttle, plan away every part of her life. Kingston is a busy doctor who can't seem to keep up with everything on his plate. When they run into each other at a movie one night, sparks fly. But Kingston doesn't follow up and spend time with her like he promised. Fast forward a couple of years, and he is forced onto a sabbatical at work because he is not doing his job like he should. He and Olivia find themselves in each other's company again, increasingly more so as the BB's decide to play matchmaker. With a lot of tender moments and several laugh out loud ones as well, you will be rooting for the two of them as they find their way to a happily ever after.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.
Olivia Farnsworth, small town librarian, has a plan for everything and she sticks to her schedule. Her well-ordered life is just the way she like it, until a chance meeting with an acquaintance from her youth turns her world upside down. Dr. Kingston Bedford’s life is a mess. To others he might appear to have everything together, but his life is out of control with too many commitments. He has no time to call his own. When he happens upon his younger sister’s best friend, Olivia, he is stunned by the attraction he feels. Will Olivia and Kingston’s relationship be doomed from the start? Find out in the latest installment of the charming Maple Falls series, where some meddling matchmakers might have to mend their ways.
A Mapple Falls Romance.
Fun easy paced plot with lots of likeable characters trying to help Olivia find the love of her life. Set in the small town of Mapple Falls in the present time.
Olivia Farnsworth works as a librarian and loves doing courses and watching old movies and going to the vintage film nights.
Kingston is a local doctor working hard and never has time to slow down, also loves going to the vintage film nights when he can find time.
A fun romance about families, friends and secrets. Two people who keep meeting up but never finding time to follow up until they are forced together at the Abenathy’s School of Dance.
I loved the interactions between family members and the chick clique group as they try to plot a romance between Olivia and Kingston.
This being the fourth book in the Maple Falls series, I was cheering for the main characters and their cute love story. This is a five-star romance that needs to be on your summer reading list! I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
A cute story about two people who can’t get their schedules to match. Honestly, the schedule issue was a bit insane from Olivia’s side, not willing to cancel something or find a replacement to go on a date? But then Kingston’s lack of follow through was much worse. Waiting months and then over a year? Not realistic really.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the fourth book in Kathleen Fuller's Maple Falls series and I found myself laughing, crying and angry at different points in the story. It's amazing how to geniuses can be so dumb. Olivia and Kingston had lots of lessons to learn and with the love and support of a hilarious cast of characters they might just make it. I really enjoyed the co-stars' romances, Erma and Jasper, Sunny and Bubba's too.
Two to Tango is another great, sweet, and clean romance by Kathleen Fuller. I really enjoyed this beautiful story. Four and a half stars.
I have been following this series, so I was so happy to receive an arc copy of this 4th book.
I will say that while I didn’t find it as entertaining as the prior books, I enjoyed reading this story about Olivia and Dr. Kingston.
I received an arc from Netgalley of Two to Tango by Kathleen Fuller
I was captivated by the characters in Two to Tango because they are so endearing. I was hooked from the prologue, and my interest remained piqued till the end.
Olivia and Kingston have a real attraction to one another, but they have barriers to get past. An elderly group of women who call themselves the BBs try to help them by playing matchmakers. They use several antics, one of which is getting them to take dance lessons. The BBs are lovable and quirky, and at times they are troublemakers!
The secondary romance with one of the BBs is a delightful bonus to this story.
I love the personalities in this book! I had read the first three books in this series before reading Two to Tango. I think reading this book before the other 3 would be okay, but I'm glad I'd read the other three first because I already knew the other characters and their back stories.
I highly recommend this book and the whole series!
I received a copy of this book through NetGalley, and all opinions expressed in this review are my own.
Kathleen Fuller is one of my favorite Romance Authors and let me tell you she did not disappoint! Her book, Two to Tango, is a wonderfully written, sweet story.
The characters are fun, loving and witty.
This story is an easy read, well-paced, wonderfully written and one that you won’t want to put down. Pick this one up on release day, you won’t be disappointed. I’m buying a paper copy for my collection!

I received complimentary ARC copy of this story from its publisher and author (Thank you!! I loved being a part of this book) via NetGalley . This review is my honest opinion, I was in no way required to give a positive review.
So good to be back in Maple Falls with these characters that the reader has grown to love. Kingston is such a great character but boy can he be frustrating! I wish that the ending would have gone a little longer and the large part of the story was a little less.
Thanks so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc. The opinions are my own.
I love these books. They are sweet, fun and fast reads, I am sad this was the last one. As always the BB's are some of the best parts of the book. Their plotting and interfering in not only the young girls lives but each others is just pure fun.
That being said there were parts of Olivia and Kingston's relationship that seem to jump a lot. I understand that they have a lot of history but there are moments that make you feel like you skipped pages because they seem to come out of no where.
Over all it was a fun fast read . And who wouldn't want to read about a guy who has great dance moves and is good with kids!
Two to Tango is fourth and final book in the Maple Falls series that takes place in Arkansas. I believe this last book is my favorite in the series. The chemistry between Kingston and Olivia was there was the beginning but because of Kingston overtaxed schedule as a pediatrician he messed things up with her by ghosting her two different times. After the first time he ghosted her she decided to give him a second chance but he blew that chance. Fast forward a year later the older ladies and his overbearing mother could see the "chemistry" there and schemed to get them together but Olvia is twice bitten so it is not going to be easy for her to forgive him. This book had me laughing with the antics of the older ladies. If a book can manage to bring a smile to my face that's an added bonus to me. Also, there is an additonal romance in the book of two of the older characters in ths book. I really thororoughly enjoyed this book and hope the author writes more contemporary romance books.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
It was good to visit Maple Falls again. This is the last book of the Maple Falls Romance series. While it can be read as a stand alone. In my opinion it is so much more enjoyable if you read them all together. This sweet story teaches us that if something is truly worth it we will not only take a risk but also make it priority in our lives.
**I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this amazing opportunity.
