I found the subject of the book interesting, The Hannah Bay Tragedy. The author has done a lot of research but the writing is overly detailed. I had a hard time reading this book and found myself skimming a lot. I enjoyed reading the first hand accounts of the tragedy that were published at the time. This book would have benefited from a better editor.
