If you’re looking for adorable woodsy creatures, heartfelt drama, and a little touch of spooky, this is it. This was such a quick and fun read. I’m so glad I picked it up! Full of fun characters and imagination, children will love this adventure and the humor embedded throughout. The illustrations are beautifully done. If you love graphics and short stories, I highly recommend!

Cute stories about mostly non-humans who live in a weird forest. It's vaguely reminiscent of Over the Garden Wall. The art is adorable, and the comics vary between funny and serious and heartfelt. I'll probably keep reading on Webtoon.

Twistwood Tales - what a fun comic book by A.C. Macdonald! I was not familiar with the webcomic but it is just so cute!

The illustrations are fantastic and I really like the style. The little short stories are clever and maybe sometimes too clever for me? Some of it went over my head! It does not have a storyline per se; it's a collection of comics and some are just 1 page and some come back later in the book as a continuation. I was not expecting it.

I loved looking at the illustrations and getting to know all the whimsical characters. I'm sure kids would love this book as well!

Thank you, NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing, for providing me with an advanced copy of this ebook. All opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.

This graphic novel is definitely geared to children. I did not get some of the jokes but Granddaughter did. I did not think at first I would like the color choices but it actually worked well with this read. The illustrations were well done and my favorite is the pumpkin. We get to meet a cast of wild and crazy characters like Bucketboy, The Witch, Tater Sam and more. It is very entertaining to children and it’s very imaginative and makes them laugh.

I picked this up as a quick read last night, and I honestly ended up loving this so much! I didn't quite know what to expect going in, because I hadn't heard of the existing webcomic before receiving this advanced copy from Netgalley, but the art drew my eye and I wanted to give it a shot! I'm really glad I did, and I'll definitely be looking into the webcomic or keeping an eye out for future volumes!

This book felt like a perfect balance of adorable woodland creatures and heartwarming stories, with a bunch of humor and a light touch of spookyness thrown in. It took me a second to get into it, since at first there are a lot of individual little stories (about 1 page each), which meant we jumped around between a lot of new characters at first. However, once we started seeing the same characters again and again, and how their stories started to overlap, I was so engrossed in it. I loved so many of these little guys (Bucket Boy! The Robber Duckies!!!), and seeing them come back time and time again in these little tales was adorable. I also really liked that this volume ended on a longer story that really brought together some loose stories, and it was just a perfect note to end it on. I also just loved the art style so much, and I really can't wait to read more of these tales (if there are more!)

If you are in the mood for weird jokes and twisted short tales with cute but unpredictable comic characters, go for this compilation. Nothing can go wrong I tell you. Just that the mood has to be right!

The illustrations and the presentation give a more classic comic compilation from another era and this makes the reading experience so much better.

Meet the Bucket Boy and his gang where they live. The forest is magical and adventurous. You will see! You will get to read some of the most adorable characters, their views on things we take for granted and things we really overthink about.

If you love the comic collections of Sarah Scribbles, you will definitely enjoy this one to the fullest!

Grab this one when it comes out.

Thank you, Andrews McMeel Publishing, for the advance reading copy.
