I great guide on where to start on inclusion, especially for start ups or small businesses starting their journey, to ensure they're inclusive from the off.
a useful, accessible and easy to read guide for inclusivity in the workplace. I'd recommend this to any medium/small business who wants to start a support network, learn more about inclusive practice or polish their EDI policies. The examples were clear and varied (although not tailored for the UK, still very useful.)
I found this to be an easy to follow introduction to ED&I for workplace leaders. There were step-by-step instructions and the path outlined made sense. As a new leader in ED&I in my own workplace, I found a lot of helpful tips and guidance that I plan to use in my new role.
I found the examples and data cited to be heavily US- and Europe-focused (the latter isn't surprising since the author is based in the UK). I would have liked to see more examples and data from other places, such as Canada (where I'm from) and the global south. There were also a few instances where Canada was left out in a list of countries (i.e., countries that celebrate Black History Month; only mentioning the US when talking about regional-level issues).
