This is a good book. The two main characters are Juniper and Bo. Juniper is a real estate agent. Bo is a rancher. They meet at a festival. There is an instant attraction. They keep seeing each other. They start dating. They each have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was such a delightful book. I adored the main characters and the secondary characters as well. The story was hilarious at time and at others such an insightful one.

This is a sweet, clean romance. This author is a favorite of mine and I have never been disappointed with any of her books.

Juniper visits her sister Cedar and brother-in-law Rhett. While she is there she meets a handsome cowboy named Bo. Bo runs a ranch and also runs sleigh rides. He is raising his teenage sister after his grandparents passed away. These two are complete opposite. She is city and he is country. Sparks fly between them.

Can they figure out how to make a long distance relationship work? Or will the distance of a two hour drive put a nail in the relationship?

Sleigh Bell Serenade (Winter Wishes #2). By Shanna Hatfield. 2023. Wholesome Hearts Publishing (ARC eBook).

Sleigh Bell Serenade is a delightful read. Bo and Juniper’s romance, and the budding friendships between their families over the holiday festivities drew me in. I look forward to reading more by Hatfield.

Sleigh Bell Serenade is the second book in the Winter Wishes series written by Shanna Hatfield. I really loved the first book, so I really want to love this one just as much, but it fell a little flat for me. Whiny characters make me laugh to a certain extent, but when they whine during the entire story it just gets annoying. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this book and loved some characters, but I didn't love this book, and certain characters as well. A Christmas book I didn't love? Sounds a bit weird to me. Do they have handsome cowboys I can find amazon? I still haven't found one. This book was very touching at times, there's just something about relating to a character. Don't let this review stop you from reading this book, you might have better luck than I did. The cover for Sleigh Bell Serenade is so beautiful, it just screams CHRISTMAS at me. I mean, what's not to love about a cover with a cowboy and a Christmas sleigh on it? I had fun creating my own updates while reading this book, for example one character was named Cedar, but my brain kept telling me her name was cheddar, such a bad habit, because it just sticks with you the entire time. It could have been a certain characters, maybe I was distracted to not love this book, I don't know, I just didn't feel like I loved this book as much as the first.

THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY AND WHOLESOME HEARTS PUBLISHING FOR AN ARC OF THIS BOOK IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!!!!!!

Bowen Jensen struggles with the weight of too many responsibilities, raising his teenage sister, Sassy, running their family ranch, and managing Sleigh Bell Tours. Bo and Sassy lost their parents at a young age, then their grand parents raised them for a little bit, when their grand parents shortly passed away, Bo took Sassy under his wings and decided to raise her. Bo and Sassy had such a great bond that I absolutely adored reading about. Sassy is eighteen years old and in her last year of high school, shortly going off to college, Bo doesn't know how to feel about that, he loves his sister so much and doesn't want to set his sister free yet. The nicknames Bo gave Sassy were the absolute cutest. With having all these responsibilities high on his shoulders, Bo barely has the time to sleep, let alone do something for himself. Bo doesn't even remember the last time he was on a real date. Sassy was hilarious, she was so relatable.

Now, enters Juniper Haynes. Bo and Juniper met at a Christmas Eve play when Juniper decided to wear high heels and lost her balanced, she ended up in Bo's arms. Juniper appears to have it all, a successful real estate career and a picture perfect life, in my opinion Juniper was just a bit too petty for my liking. In reality, Juniper is tired of dealing with demanding clients, her "so called friends" and longs for the peace she finds at her sister Cedar's mountain home. Juniper has her life and career in Portland, but visits her sister in Faraday, Oregon. Cedar and her husband Rhett are expecting their first child, so Juniper goes to their home and tries to help out as much as possible, but how can she do that when she's falling in love with a handsome cowboy? Read this book to find out. After a fireworks bursting New Year's Eve kiss with a cowboy, Juniper realizes true happiness might only be found outside of her comfort zone. When Juniper and Sassy meet, it's like Sassy has finally found a woman figure that she never had in her life.

Sleigh Bell Serenade is a fun holiday story with delightful characters. Shanna Hatfield always gives the reader characters that you would want as friends. She has done so again with Bowen Jensen, his sister and Juniper Haynes. Haven’t we all been overwhelmed at time with responsibilities and the cares of life. It is easy to identify with these characters, hoping that they find love to brighter their days.

A sweet, heartwarming story of family, hope, love and courage to embrace life at its fullest. Sleigh Bell Serenade is a Christmas story that could be enjoyed by optimistic romantics anytime of the year; readers just like me.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Juniper is a driven, successful realtor living in Portland. She lives for the big city lifestyle and doesn't have time to meet 'the one' and settle down. When she visits her pregnant sister Cedar and her husband Rhett for a week over Christmas in their peaceful small town, she's shocked when a handsome stranger catches her as she slips on the ice.

Bo is just as surprised as Juniper when she lands in his arms. But from the moment their eyes meet, the chemistry is electric. When Bo unexpectedly sees Juniper again at his family owned Sleigh ride business, it sets of a chain reaction which they seemingly have no control over. But could a city girl and a country boy make it work?

This was a sweet, small town romance with no spicy scenes. Bo and Juniper were fun to get to know and I love that they are tied in from other books in the same universe. I did find that certain parts of the book took longer to develop, but then it all seemed to end and wrap up within a few pages. I would have loved a little more depth there as I enjoyed their story so much!

Thank you to Netgalley, Author Shanna Hatfield and Wholesome Hearts Publishing for this ARC, which published on the 19th January 2023!

Bo and Cedar's story proves that a rancher and cowboy can fall in love with a real estate executive. It all starts when she slips on ice and he saves her from a bad fall.

I liked that characters from other series were interwoven through the story. It was nice to reconnect but dies not detract from the story of you haven't read them.

All in all a HEA story that's fun and entertaining.

Although I received a free ARC eBook. All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

This was a quick, light steam story about a big city girl finding love in a small farming community. Unfortunately, it didn’t really grab my attention. I felt the author was a bit heavy handed with the minutia of information about certain things. Such as the “teal parka that was guaranteed to keep her warm to thirty degrees below zero.” None of the other clothing items warranted such detail! This book must be part of a series since many other couples crop up which I found distracting. I did like Sassy. However, her brother’s nicknames for her I found tiresome.

Between the ranch and his sleigh tours it doesn’t leave much room or energy for romance especially since he is also responsible for his younger sister. When Juniper comes crashing into his life he is drawn to her despite the fact that he doesn’t believe they have a future together but how could something that feels so right be wrong?

When Juniper decides to visit her sister and brother-in-law for Christmas, she begins to realize that she may have a successful career as a realtor but not much else. Spending time with Bo shows her what her life could be like if she opens her heart to the possibilities.

This is a heartwarming story about love and family as with the help of each other and those closest to them Bo and Juniper realize what truly matters

I wasn't sure what to expect from this author, having never come across them before, but was wooed by the cover.

This is a super quick story that can be easily read in an hour. it is the classic city girl and country boy opposites attract trope, and is very easy to read. Added to the mix are some fun supporting characters and a small town with classic small town vibes.

If you are looking for a quick, light read, this might be for you.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in return for my honest review.
