An excellent true crime read about a writer’s quest to get the real story behind a pair of gruesome murders for which a Dublin man pleaded guilty and was convicted. The least likely suspect prior to the murders, Malcolm Macarthur was part of the landed upper class, polite and well-mannered. He had no history of crime or violence, but was afraid of losing his life of freedom from having to work.
