I love information books like this! They are so helpful especially when just starting out on this journey and even just to learn more on the subject
I'm a huge fan of journaling, especially when it comes to tackling tough stuff like stress and anxiety. Having prompts can really make a difference in getting those thoughts out of your head and onto paper.
I got this journal as an ebook, which was cool and all, but it meant I had to print out separate sheets to use it like an actual journal. Not the end of the world, but definitely not as convenient as having it all in one place.
Personally, I'm all about handwriting my journal entries. There's just something about putting pen to paper that feels more therapeutic to me. So, for folks like me who prefer the old-school approach, I'd definitely recommend grabbing the paperback version of this journal. It's a handy little tool for anyone who could use a little extra guidance with their journaling journey.

Amazing journal prompts that can be really helpful when your friend is doing them along with you and you include your therapist! I was truly thankful to have gotten to read this before most people! I was provided an advanced copy of this book by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I found Put your anxiety here useful for those working through overcoming obstacles that come with depression and anxiety. Thank you netgalley for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review
What a useful resource! I held off on writing this review because I wanted to try at least a few of the activities before coming to an opinion.
This is a valuable resource that offers activities across many different scenarios. The activities could easily be used individually by one person/student or collectively for an entire class experience. Sometimes you just want a lesson or activity or two in your pocket and this one gives you a choice of lots of things to do when faced with a student or classroom that has anxiety to alleviate.
Unfortunately, the preview of this book, PUT YOUR ANXIETY HERE by Lisa M. Schab, was never accessible for me. I have tried repeatedly, but am unsuccessful in viewing it. I also wonder if it is significantly different from Put Your Worries Here, published in 2019, by the same author. This latest title is designed to be “A Creative Guided Journal to Relieve Stress and Find Calm.” At just under 200 pages, it is relatively short and geared to grades 6 to 12. That sounds like a valuable resource, particularly since we know mental health issues are becoming even more of a concern for youth. The few pages I could see were essentially blank and offered limited prompts to readers.
The thing about a resource to help your anxiety, is that it only works if you're able to overcome your anxiety and actually open the book! I've had this book sitting at my bedside for awhile and I kept telling myself I was going to open it. I finally opened this journal and I'm so mad I let it sit there for so long. It's made in the style of Wreck This Journal where it asks you to draw, make lists, add pictures, and color things. It's designed in a way that you can do each exercise in order or, when you're feeling anxious or just need a calmdown, that you can open to any page and complete that exercise. Or you could even just flip through the book and find an activity that fits your current mood. This is a great resource and think anyone could benefit from it!
I really enjoyed this setup of journal. This will work very well with patients with anxiety and will recommends to my clients
I accessed a digital review copy of this book from the publisher.
The journal encourages you to work creatively with the different prompts. They work great during moments of stress and help before you are stressed. This is good for anyone who is creatively minded.
I am a sucker for a good prompted journal - I recommend them, gift them, and use them regularly. This journal invites you to write down your worries (so you don’t have to keep them in your brain) and gives you prompts and space to do something different to experience more calm and peace. The great thing about following prompts is that when you are feeling anxious or stressed using this journal you don’t have to think about what or how to write. It’s not something you can or will screw up - just try it. If nothing else you will come out of the experience having a better grasp if writing is something that helps you.

Creative journaling prompts to write your way to calm.... Did you know that journaling can have physical, emotional, and mental health benefits? Research shows that expressive writing can actually strengthen the immune system, lower blood pressure, and release physical tension in our bodies. Writing about our thoughts and feelings can help us clear our minds, release pent-up feelings, ease everyday tension, and let go of negative thoughts and worries. If you're struggling with anxiety or stress, this journal can help you find instant calm, increase your self-awareness, and enhance your overall well-being. Written by a psychotherapist and guided journaling expert, and grounded in evidence-based therapy, the creative prompts in this beautiful journal are combined with space for you to write, draw, make lists, compose letters, and write down reflections. Also included are sensory-based activities, such as outdoor walks, listening to music, breathwork, calming scents, and more. If you're looking for therapy that doesn't feel like therapy, pick up this journal, write down your worries, let go of stress, and find lasting peace of mind.
If you suffer from anxiety and have difficulties controlling it. This book is for you. I cannot express how much that this helped me.

This journal is really great for my anxiety. The questions is a great way to write out my thoughts. The exercises was also great to relieve some stress or anxiousness.
Not much to say but I will definitely be getting the physical version for this book.
I truly enjoyed this journal/workbook. It gave me some new coping skills and realizations into my anxiety. There were mantras I took from it. And I was just overall pleasantly happy. I didn’t expect a lot as I’m not a journaling person but it’s helped tremendously in my anxiety.
"No matter who you are or where you go, anxiety may find you.
It can feel annoying, overwhelming, or anything in between. But however it
hits you, it does not have to knock you down or keep you down. Nobody likes
anxiety, but it doesn’t have to ruin or run your life!"
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to view an eGalley of this journal in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I wanted to check this out first on NetGalley in the event I thought it was worth purchasing to help combat anxiety. I struggle a lot with anxiety at night before going to bed, and I feel like incorporating something like this could really help with bringing my mind to a more natural stop when I climb into bed at night.
I applaud the sensitive, but not overly cheesy, nature of the prompts and topics. They seem very genuine. They are also incredibly creative, I haven't seen a journal quite like this before.
Next time I'm in the market to purchase a journal, I will be putting this at the top of my list. Thank you again to NetGalley and author Lisa M Schab. This is great!
The focus of this book is to walk you through a variety of prompts and exercises to help you with your anxiety. This book starts off very open and friendly, mentioning that how this book is used is up to you, and while you're encouraged to do the exercises, how you do them, skipping around, etc., is all your choice. I appreciate that a book on anxiety puts in that effort to make these prompts feel as open-ended as possible, haha.
And speaking of the prompts, there are loads of them. They're based on CBT, for those familiar with that. The pages are full of gentle and cute minimal illustrative details to aid in relaxing you and to interact with. This is definitely a book you'll want a physical copy of, since several prompts encourage interaction with the pages that you'd have to otherwise replicate on your own if you have a digital copy. (Which, nothing wrong with that, but I just wanted to give a heads up there just in case!)
It's also not just writing. There are prompts inviting drawing, breathing, moving, etc. The themes of each one vary greatly, touching not just on anxiety, but hope, happiness, memories, fears, dreams, mindfulness, etc. Definitely a wide net that can give you a little something to think about each time you open it up.
This book is nice for older teens and up. (Speaking as an adult in their 30s, I did enjoy this book!) Younger kids would probably need some guidance. And doing these exercises/prompts alongside professional help could be beneficial. A nice simple book that can do a lot.
My main reasoning for 4/5 stars is that it's not a perfect fit for me. Like another reviewer I saw write, having a page at the beginning to write down your anxieties to help you focus could be a nice option to start with. Maybe some "checking in" pages to see how you're doing, if anything has changed. Most prompts are also very light and gentle, would've been nice to have some go a little deeper. (Though I'm sure doing this alongside therapy would help with that!) I also adjusted a few prompts to fit my needs more, but I appreciated the prompts still inspiring me in that process.
I still enjoyed going through this book, and embracing so many of the exercises that I wouldn't have otherwise thought to do or would've done was an interesting and fresh experience for me. I certainly benefited from going through this book. I'm glad I was able to get a copy. It's very cute and kind, and the exercises were well designed.
Definitely flip through a few pages and see if this could be a fit for you, or for someone you know as a gift :)
"I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own."
As a sufferer of intense anxiety, I love to find new tools that I can use instead of meds. This is a great guided journal that allows you to unpack your anxieties and challenge them in fun ways. It's already on my birthday list, as I think it will be a good anti anxiety weapon to have in my arsenal
I love this anxiety journal. So often I feel lost when journaling, not sure where to start not sure what to write. They have lots of neat prompts in this journal. I feel like the target audience is more geared towards teenagers/young adults. I definitely would have liked to have something like this in jr high or high school.
This guided journal provides exercises / activities to assist lessen with stress and anxiety for the reader .
I loved the content and will refer back to many of the exercises. I found the content relevant to anyone, it was given in an approachable, easy to follow and aesthetically pleasing manner. The exercises are fabulous for those days when the mindset needs some fine tuning, they g focus on the positives and what is working..
I am interested to see the hard copy as it would be a great gift and also a valuable self-care item.

What an amazing journal for those who are troubled by anxiety. Of course, this exercises so much more than anxious thoughts, such as overthinking, self-image, selfesteem and stress (and more). It's based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and the prompts allow for you to exercise areas you have not thought about, leading the way for a much clearer "path" regarding what you think your issues are, and how to solve them by using this journal as a safe and creative space.
