This novella spans the duration of 10 years and is the diary of Penny, a close friend of Grace and Jared that had mysteriously disappeared at CERN in Europe, while I did enjoy the way the story was told, since I hadn't read the forlorn series, I got quite lost on the story and on all the terms used to explain things in the story, so I really recommend for you to grab this one after reading the series, or you will fell lost like I did.

I did enjoy that Penny used scriptures quotes to give her strength, its a very PG safe book, so I can recommend it to an YA public, is well written, but I would advice for people to grab the previous books in the forlorn series to understand better what the story is about.
