I enjoyed this book. It’s funny how it was able to stick with me. I started reading this book Back in March, got away from reading for quite some time yet I still had this book with me when I picked it back up to finish it.

This coffee table book of US Presidents is very thorough. Each President is covered with information about their life and presidency, first ladies, and other important people relevant to the presidency. Pictures are engaging and the text is very engaging. As someone who did not grow up in the United States I was very interested in learning this presidential history. I think this book would make a great gift for someone interested in this aspect of United States history.

I am buying this one for my classroom and library! This was such a great book to explain everything about each president! It was full of information and facts that I can use in the classroom!

As a Scottish woman who became obsessed with the musical Hamilton, I read this book for more information on the founding fathers. It didn’t disappoint. Also read more about some of the lesser known presidents, and the more recent residents of the White House. A great book for reference and gentle education without being overwhelmed with information

A great informative read with loads of information on all of the US Presidents.
A great plus is that the First Lady's are also also mentioned.
A perfect book for History buffs and fans of US Presidents who want to learn about them.

Definitely the book for people who want to learn more about the presidents.

The president’s section has an updated version that includes every member. Created in a balanced environment, the bios are relevant, unbiased, and very informative. The photographs are well chosen and illuminating. Presidents are the poster figures of their times. Beyond basic bios, we get good portraits of the person that became the most powerful politicians in the world.

Informative, well illustrated, and easy to read. Great for all American history buffs and for students as an excellent supplement to any American history book.

This book is a great resource of our US Presidents. It covers Presidents from George Washington to Joe Biden. It includes information on each president, their vice presidents & their First Ladies. I really enjoyed this book.

Did you know that Jimmy Carter was the first president to be born in a hospital? Or that Reagan was the first president to have belonged to a union? This fine, nicely illustrated volume is full of such useful tidbits.
Every president from Washington to Biden is covered and there are plenty of bits about their vice presidents and First Ladies.
I have three minor criticisms;
1. The Netgalley shelf app is as always a nightmare to use.
2. The book covers nothing after 2020.
3. The author demonstrates an occasional conservative bias.
But generally, good.

This book offers an opportunity to learn about all of the U.S. Presidents, up to and including Joe Biden. It can be read in order for an overview of history or dipped into at random or to look up a particular President. I think that it is especially enjoyable to learn about the presidents who may be less well known to the reader.

Each entry includes a good amount of information. The illustrations (photos, paintings, etc.) are excellent. There are also lots of side bars with information on other topics including those close to the president, as for example their spouses and vice presidents.

Give this title to a U.S. history buff, even if that person is you. I am giving it to myself in the hard copy.
