"Wifey's Next Come Up" by Kiki Swinson is a bit of a rollercoaster. It has its moments of excitement and action, especially as Kira navigates her way through a dangerous world. However, some parts feel like they follow a predictable pattern, and not everyone may connect with the characters and their relationships. The story moves quickly, but it can sometimes feel rushed, leaving certain things not fully explained. While the deception and rising tension add depth, it might be a bit too much for some readers. Overall, it's a book that keeps you hooked, but you might have mixed feelings about how everything unfolds.

Poor Kira. Drama seems to follow her wherever she goes. In this third installment of the wifey series, Kira is faced with new obstacles standing in the way of her happiness and peace. How she chooses to deal with these obstacles makes for an interesting read. This is a quick read which will keep you engaged, and at the end, you will definitely want to move on to the next book in the series. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This book was okay. I felt it was all over the place and it just was not worth reading. It was longer than it should have been and nothing was resolved

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In this installment we pick up with Kira after her father’s murder. Kira and Nick instantly deal with guilt and cops. Detective Grimes is hot on her trail then while at the precinct with she sees Nick who she now believes snitched. Nick then goes missing and this is poised to be the ultimate demise of Kira. This was a very quick read. I wish it was more and that it didn’t tell me the story. I like to be able to visualize the story but I honestly felt no connection to the story. It seemed rushed. The plot line is promising but it doesn’t do it for me. Overall I give it a 3

This book in its entirety was included in the previous book in the series, Wifey’s Next Deadly Hustle. I rated it on Goodreads but didn’t review.

This was a decent read for an all too familiar genre. The stakes were high, but I felt the ending landed with a thud.
