Allison Brennan’s, 4th book in the Quinn and Costa series is the best yet!
Seven missing women, a corrupt police department, unsolved murders, and a local community that does not like outsiders, these elements make “Seven Girls Gone,” come alive. The twists and turns are clever, stylish, and dangerous. The relationship between Kara and Matt still rides a fine line, between professional and personal, but the attraction is elemental and sparks fly. these two characters are complex, and they make the story feel so real, as they battle the evil in front of them.
The novels in this series are suspenseful, well written, and sometimes mesmerizing. The diligence with which Brennan weaves a complex character count, forensic investigation, and dangerous plot, makes the story flow smooth and quick. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series!
On a side note, the books in this series can be read individually but will be more solid in development if you read them in order.
Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Another great book by Allison Brennan. Lots of twists and turns. Great characters. The book flowed great. I look forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
Need a good down south investigative mystery? This one will have you second guessing and third guessing and just trying to figure out who in the world could be responsible for these crimes. There are a lot of characters to keep track of which can be a little tiring at times, but you really see things from every angle that way. I wasn’t fully engrossed by the story, but it was a good read. Having not read any of the others in the series, I wouldn’t rush to pick them up. But if you’re a regular reader of them, I think you’ll be happy with this fourth installment.
Seven women have went missing in the past three years. Beau is a cop and is the only one investigating the deaths. Several cops, the chief are corrupt. Drugs, prostitution and other illegal activities are going on. Beau calls his ex Navy buddy, who is a FBI agent with the mobile response team, to come and help. Kara was an undercover cop in Los Angeles and is now part of mrt. She's smart, sexy, and an excellent cop. The more they dig into the case, more women are killed and the corruption goes further than they realized. Can they stop it and find out who killed all these women?
Great story. Lots of action and edge of your seat suspense. I know this probably makes no sense but I didn't want to give anything away. It did confuse me with so many different views. Hopefully the format will be fixed in the published book.

I found out this is part of a series but love that I was able to read it as a standalone, so I jumped in and started to read this book as soon as I received my ARC. This book was intriguing from the start, the title alone had me wondering what happened!! I loved the plot development and execution and kept you wondering the whole time. Definitely recommend this book, and if you're like me and you haven't read the other books to the series this book will definitely get you wanting more of Allison Brennan books!!
I received this ARC from Netgalley and the publishers in exchange for an honest review. This the 4th book of the Quinn & Costa series. What a great series and these books can be read alone but you get more background on the characters when you start from the beginning. I have really enjoyed this series from the start to the finished. I jumped in and started to read this book as soon as I received my copy. Brennan really know how to pull you in and capture your interest in what case that Quinn and Costa with their team try to solve. I highly recommend that you pick up and start to read this series. Michael gets a call from a good friend, Beau down in Louisiana who is in trouble. Michael and Quinn fly right down to help him and find out that Beau believes that for the last three years seven girls have disappeared and are all connected. His problem is that the police department is corrupt and he doesn’t have concrete evidence to connect all of these killings. Michael has faith and believes Beau, so Costas calls in his team and they start to investigate. In the meantime, Kara goes undercover to see what she can find out before the suspects and police realize that she is a cop. Can Quinn and Costa find out what is happening and help Beau connect all of these killings and keep everyone safe. I highly recommend this series and that you won’t regret picking it up and reading it.
