This is a good book. The two main characters are Cosima and Remy. Cosima is a producer of a reality show. Remy owns a distillery with his brothers. They meet nine years ago on a one night stand but Remy was in an accident and has memory problems. He doesn’t remember Cosima. Cosima brings a production company to start filming. There is an instant attraction. They each have problems it together they work them out and fall in love.
This is the 1st book in “The Renaud Brothers Series”. Remy is sexy alpha male single father to his daughter Emily who is co-owner of a distillery 4 Thieves with his brothers. If you read “Bad Boy With Benefits then you already know a little about Remy he is the brother of Law Renaud. After reading about Law, Marlowe and Emily who is Law’s niece it was such a treat to read about Remy. Cosima is a TV producer. Remy and Cosima met years ago and shared a sizzling night of passion and the two come face to face again. Cosima is doing a documentary and she wants it to be about Remy’s rags to riches and 4 Thieves distillery. Remy doesn’t seem to remember Cosima. Cosima does remember their hot passionate night that left her pregnant but she loss the baby. As the two are working on the documentary things are getting hot and heavy. I so love the chemistry, attraction and love between Cosima and Remy and Emily is still so cute and adorable.
Will Remy remember Cosima or will she have to enlighten him, will Cosima tell Remy about her being pregnant and losing the baby, is there a second chance at romance for Remy and Cosima?
This is the 2nd book in the “Business And Babies Series”. Cruz and his twin brother Zane grew up in foster care after the death of their mom and their father gambled everything away. Cruz is a sexy billionaire playboy. Cruz and his brother Zane are twins and own Opulence which is a magazine. Mila is a plus-size up and coming model. Cruz and Mila met in Miami and the two were very much attracted and interested in each other. Mila is at Cruz’s estate home for a photo shoot. Mila finds herself stranded at Cruz’s home with the bridge washed in the midst of a storm. Mila and Cruz are very much attracted to each other still but they are doing their level best to fight the passion that is brewing right along with storm. Cruz wants a wife and family and he wants Mila. Cruz has to convince Mila that she is important to him along with her career. I love how Cruz cares and is concerned about Mila’s feelings and her somewhat insecurities. These two are awesome together.
Will the storm out last the passion burning inside Cruz and Mila or will they give into their passionate desire, is there an HEA in store for couple?
I received an ARC via NetGalley and I am leaving my review voluntarily. Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Desire Romance.
The second Renaud brother, Remy, is many things like cool dad, single, millionaire, ex-con, the list is long. The one thing he can’t do is remember Cosima and their wonderful night nine years ago. The world has turned for them, better financially and professionally, maybe now romantically. A chance to work together on a reality show might give them another chance. It’s a quick read with plenty of emotional moments, some hot intimacy and a precocious little girl. Each brother has their own book but there is a recurring theme about their parents and the business. I always enjoy St. Aubin’s books, her writing is sophisticated and intelligent. I received an early copy and have written this review voluntarily.
I was looking for a lighter book to read, and I liked the blurb for this one...but unfortunately, I didn't like the characters and i never felt any connection between them...especially as they supposedly were involved previously.

wo amazing stories are combined in one book like Blue Blood Meets Blue Collar by Cynthia St. Aubin and One Stormy Night by Jules Bennett. Twice the romance, twice the enjoyment… who doesn’t appreciate that?
Blue Blood Meets Blue Collar by Cynthia St. Aubin brings two fiery people together who share a past, but only one of them is aware of that fact. Cosima needs this project to take off; it’s her chance to redeem herself after a disastrous relationship ruined her professional reputation in Hollywood. Yet, there is also a personal reason for using the Renaud brothers’ distillery as a backdrop for her newest reality series. Theirs might have been a one-night fling, but there were consequences for Cosima that went far beyond that one night. Plus the fact that she’s never really gotten Remy out of her mind completely in all these years since that night. Cosima and Remy work so well together; both are stubborn and determined in their own ways. The physical attraction between them is on fire, and it shows throughout their story. I loved this one, and it’s a wonderful setup for the next story in the series. Secrets, passion, and stubbornness sound like a perfect match, doesn’t it?
One Stormy Night by Jules Bennett delivers an emotional romance with two people who definitely have a steamy attraction going on but also have issues in their lives that often hold them back from letting people get too close. I loved watching those walls fall during an unexpected storm that washes out a bridge, which was the only way out of there for Mila. Now she and Cruz are stuck together waiting out the storm while turbulence of a different kind is growing between them. Emotional, and sexy, this story brings out all the emotions as Cruz and Mila work their way to a future in their own unique fashion. I loved seeing them admit their real feelings for each other. Yes, there are things to overcome, but nothing that love and support can’t get them through.
I had such fun with the stories in this book duo, and if you love a beautiful love story times two… then you’ll love this one.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are my own – good, bad, or indifferent.*
I love me a good romance novel with this type of trope. The Main characters have met before had an amazing one night, but one doesn’t remember coincidentally they are brought together. And the chemistry is there form beginning to end. I love Remy and Cosima. There is a lot of backstory, and I wish I had read past books because the crossover in characters and their relationship to the present characters in this book was confusing and annoying because I wanted to connect more with the characters. Other than that these two are dynamic, and spicy as hell.
Thanks Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book.
A huge thank you to @netgalley & the publisher @harlequin for providing me with this ARC for my honest review. This book will be out on April 25th.
Harlequin romances will always hold a special place in my heart. I've actually been reading them for 25 years now.
Two books in one, how can you beat that? The 1st book is Blue Blood Meets Blue Collar, and the 2nd book is One Stormy Night.
I thought both were great. They were both a little steamy but not over the top. They were both well written with good story lines and interesting characters.
Blue Blood Meets Blue Collar is the story of Remy Renaud and Cosima Lowell. Remy and his brothers own a distillery. Cosima has a television production company, and she'd like to tell the brothers rags to riches story with a tv show. When Remy flies out to LA to meet Cosima, sparks fly, but it turns out they have a past that Remy doesn't remember.
One Stormy Night is the story of Cruz King and Mila Hale. Cruz owns the magazine Mila, an up and coming plus sized model, has just been hired to do a layout for. She arrives at his estate on a stormy night and gets stuck there. In such close proximity with high levels of attractions, how can they keep their hands off each other? But will this just be a fling or develop into something more. Can they set aside their differences and horrible pasts to make it work?
I really did enjoy reading this book, and the 2 in 1 was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this, especially to romance readers.
I loved Remy and Cosima’s story, but still felt like I was missing something. I hadn’t read the Kane Heirs series, so I felt a little lost in the middle when you meet Law and Marlowe. I enjoyed reading about the distillery and thought Remy was seriously invested in it. I question the ending, but am glad they end up back together.
