This was a sweet, spicy sapphic debut. The writing in this book was great and I can’t believe it was a debut. I really liked Olive and thought she was relatable. Stella was hard to get a good read on and I found her to be a little annoying with all the mixed signals she was giving. If you are looking for a sapphic slow burn then this is a good pick. The side-plots fell a little short for me, especially the side plot with the annoying ex-girlfriend. The book just felt too long especially on audio. I feel like if it had been a little shorter I would have enjoyed it more. I did like the way heavier subject matters were discussed.

Fly With Me was a cute sapphic romance and while I wasn’t completely enamored with it, I still enjoyed it and will recommend it. Overall, this was a 3,5 for me.

I loved this book! This checked a lot of my romcom boxes. Fake girlfriend? Check. Tough past making it tough to love until you meet "the one"? Check. Type A character + act first, think later character? Check. Sexy banter, fun angst, slow burn? Check. Seriously, this was such a fun read - thoughtful and sweet. I highly recommend it.

I love me a sapphic romance and while I wasn’t completely enamoured with Fly With Me, I still wholeheartedly recommend it.

The writing is fantastic, like “how is this a debut?” fantastic. I really loved Olive and found her to be incredibly relatable. I loved how thirsty she was from the jump, but it was a double-edged sword. I couldn’t get a decent read on Stella, so I found her actions to be steeped in mixed signals and that resulted in the slow burn being quite… annoying, tbh.

But all in all, this book kept a smile on my face and the fake dating was a lot of fun!

I loved everything about this book. Quirky and fun but also had depth. Fake dating at its best. More people should be reading it.

Olive the nurse and Stella the pilot turn this fake relationship romance into something very real after a lot of soul searching and some honest discussions between the two mains. The angst meter is high with this read but the serious moments are offset by enough humour to keep me smiling. Nicely done.

If there is one thing I love about a romance, it's a great fake dating trope. Andie Burke executes this wonderfully in her debut novel. Not only is the trope done well, but the story follows two well written, complex characters. I loved getting to know Olive and Stella and seeing their relationship evolve throughout the story. Both characters feel real and are relatable. There is some heavy emotions included in the plot, but there is also a lot of humor sprinkled in. Burke does an incredible job balancing these two emotions, a well accomplished feat for an author publishing their first book. I can't wait to see what the author puts out next.

Fly with Me is great sapphic romance. It has fake dating trope that had me guessing and great main characters. Definitely, a great vacation book.

It is so, so hard for me to read books about characters who have depression! Hits a little too close to home.

That being said, this book was really cute and very sad. Olive is working so hard to please everyone around her that it’s so hard for her to focus on herself. Her fake relationship with Stella is so adorable and the mutual pining between them despite their whole charade is palpable. I really enjoyed reading the two women get to know each other and start to care for one another. It was so hard to read about all the awful things in Olive’s life though.

Overall this book was just really sweet. Olive and Stella have great chemistry, and the side characters and B plot are really interesting. The third act crescendo when everything goes to shit had me STRESSED.

This book was fantastic! Such a strong story, lovable characters, great representation. I will be recommending to everyone I know!

This one was so cute and right up my alley! A sapphic romance with some spice, fake dating, and two smoking hot FMCs. Throw in the mental health representation and the story about Olive and her brother, and I was sold.

The author did a great job of tackling multiple subjects that hold a lot of meaning. There are references to medical concerns, mental health, and family issues. There was so much more to the story than just a romance (although that piece was wonderful too).

I’m always up for a love story between women, and this one did not disappoint. I could relate a lot to Olive because of her mental health concerns, and I could totally see the appeal of being with someone like Stella, who is so put together and kind. And the fact that she’s a pilot? Yes, ma’am.

A sweet & spicy queer debut that leaves me anticipating Burke’s next book!

Fly With Me’s greatest strength definitely was certainly in it’s characters though. Almost every person introduced felt very authentic, and the unique backgrounds of each character were touched on in a way that felt natural and complimented the flow of Stella and Olive’s story (which had you rooting for them right from the start).

However, I found the number of side plots introduced to be slightly distracting and disruptive to the overall pace of the read. By the end, there were a few points that felt undressed which left me feeling a little bit unsatisfied.

Overall, a cute read that was able to handle some heavier subject matter well alongside the main romance plot. Between the characters, the thoughtful addressing of heavier themes that arose, and the well-crafted romance, I am genuinely looking forward to reading what Andie Burke puts out next and seeing her growth as an author!

I always love discovering new authors and for their first book, this was just wonderful! It made me laugh and fall in love with the characters.. The author gives us a well developed story line, in-depth character study and just an all around arc that had me reading this in one sitting, just could not put it down.

If you enjoy a good slow burn romance, with great dialog and humor, this book is definitliy worth a read-I am not.a big fan of the pretend dating story line, but Ms. Burke truly brings a great spin on it, and this book will be in my re-read pile for later.

Great debut book, I look forward to more from this new author.

Airplanes + LGBTQ = a happy me.

I don't know what it is, but when a book has to do with planes or airports or pilots, I instantly add it to my TBR. Everything about it is so romantic to me, don't ask me why because I don't know. Reading Fly with Me, I couldn't believe this was a debut for this author! Everything about this just spoke to me. I love fake dating and add in some sapphics and I am THERE. It was also messy and real and I just appreciated everything about it.

Do me a favor and pick this one up!

As fas as fake dating trope romances go, this one is way up there. Andi Burke works her magic on Olive and Stella with a panache unseen in quite awhile. This debut was impressive to say the least. The steam mixed with a genuine emotional throughlone elevated this work. Highly recommend.

This was a really sweet story in a lot of ways and I did really like both Olive and Stella. The relationship build up has the normal fake dating frustrations that come with the trope but they do so many fun things and I think they get to know each other well. The spice level in this is excellent!

The only downside for me was the story dragged sometimes. There was a lot of repetition and things were drawn out that didn't need to be so it did feel just a little too long to me.

Fly with Me is both delightfully adorable and yet heart wrenching at the same time. The blooming relationship between Olive - a ER nurse who went viral after saving (not) Mickey Mouse’s life on a flight and Stella - the gorgeous pilot of that flight who offers to help Olive get to her destination in time after the flight is deverted, results in the fake dating trope and makes for the cutest romance.

Beyond that though the book includes the characters different struggles to cope with their families hardships. I’m not one to get emotional when reading but after staying up late to binge this book I found myself tearing up a little.

Wonderful book and I would definitely recommend it!!
