I found this a quick and easy rom-com read that is full of steamy, sexy scenes. Annie becomes the guardian to Tara and enlists the services of Caleb who runs a nanny agency. There is an instant attraction but both have been hurt previously and are wary of getting hurt again. I found both Annie and Caleb likeable and liked seeing how their relationship developed. Thank you to Evernight Publishing and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.
The book was cute. The story concentrated more on the hang-ups each of the main characters had with past relationships and not enough character development. It was a quick read over a long weekend - would not usually like this book due to the short character developments - it needed more depth and more of a back story -on the two main characters -m such as why they each have no extended family / why Tara's grandparent did not fight for custody of their grandchild.
Not my favorite, I’d say this is more of a 2.5⭐️ than a 3.
Mr Nanny was a quick and easy read, but I felt like it was lacking in areas. The book both dragged on and somehow also took an eternity. It was sad that we didn’t get to see how they’re relationship started once he moved in bc of the time jump that happened right off the bat.
I liked both the Mcs and the supporting characters, but wish we had a little more on them, like their interests outside of work and relationships.
I felt like the chemistry between the mcs wasn’t the best and even the steamy parts didn’t have the passion that I was hoping for. The writing also wasn’t my cup of tea, just in the way that the characters spoke. It was a little too formal for my tastes, but that is a personal preference.
I did like that both characters knew what they wanted and kinda went after it. They knew how they felt about each other and didn’t let public perception effect their actions. They also didn’t have a miscommunication tripe which is always a major plus in my book. I also enjoyed that the friends were so caring albeit a bit overbearing at times.
I received an advance copy of this book, courtesy of Evernight Publishing and NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
Mr. Nanny is the 10th book in the Nannies series by Sam Crescent, but you do not need to read the previous books to fully enjoy this one. This book follows Annie and Caleb. In a reversal of the typical woman nanny role, Caleb is the owner of The Nanny nanny services and when Annie comes in asking for help learning how to care for a 6-month-old that she suddenly got care of, Caleb jumps at the chance of helping her out. They both have been hurt in the past in the most tragic ways, but can they get their happy ever afters?
I really liked the concept of this book, especially because we rarely see such role reversals and not even just the job aspect. Annie does several things throughout the book that we normally see the male do, which was very refreshing. I admit I found the whole story very predictable but well done overall.
Mr. Nanny is a delightful romance with a good plot. I really enjoyed the interactions of the characters and how they finally resolved their conflicts. Some spicy bits but with a solid story.
This book is on fire. Can I please get a Nanny?! Oh my this was so good. I could not but it down. My only fault is that it just wasn't long enough.
I just reviewed Mr. Nanny by Sam Crescent. #MrNanny #NetGalley

Predictable, overly sweet story with no real plot. Everything happens super fast and the story plays out exactly as you suspect it is. If you want a quick, sappy HEA then this would fit.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC to review
I love men who are great with kids. I requested to get an ARC of this because a guy running a nanny agency has to be good. It had some cute moments and Caleb was so sweet. I did like the idea for this story, but to me, it didn’t quite get there.
The pacing for being such a short story was a bit slow . If they’re going to be that short I prefer them faster paced and dirtier. I also struggled with Annie. As an introvert author who had zero friends and was working from home while caring for her child, I thought I could relate, but I just couldn’t.
-dual POV
-HEA
-Instalove vibes
-single mom
-Cinnamon roll hero
-short and quick
This novella could have been so much more. Annie needs help with her new daughter and she goes to Caleb nanny’s agency; he moves to her house even tho he’s attracted to her since the beginning and he doesn’t really think it’s a good idea.
I didn’t really like it tbh. The characters were flat, just like their relationship, they had no chemistry and there was zero interaction with the baby. No characters development, no plot.
Special thanks to Netgalley and Evernight Publishing for this digital ARC.
Annie, the guardian of a new born baby is in need for a nanny to help her with her new life.

I... I always thought when i had a child, i'd know what to deal with, how to handle this , but i just ...it's all a little... it's just too much.

So here comes our Caleb, the nanny !
It was funny, sexy and sad considering their past relationship and trauma.

Mr. Nanny was a cute novella that was simple and easy to read. Caleb (the nanny) runs and is the founder of a Nanny agency, where Annie (our FMC) goes to for help with her infant daughter. The only part of the book I really loved was Caleb's interactions with Tara because they were so darn cute!
The chemistry felt a little rushed for me and nothing meaningful really developed in this novella. I think it being a novella had a lot to do with it. It's one of those books that should move really quickly, but the pacing of the novel itself was a lot slower than I anticipated. The steam and spice between the two of them was cute but lacked a lot of the usual spice that I read.
For what it was, it was cute and simple. An easy read with really minimal thinking needed to finish it!
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an eARC!
I didn’t enjoy this very much. It’s a quick read but Annie and Caleb had no depth or connection. Everything went really easy for them. There was no conflict in this book so also no resolution. They could have added in Annie and Caleb trying to take care of Annie when she’s sick or something to bring them closer together. They were working together for a while but it didn’t talk about that at all.
18+ explicit detail. Spice could have been better- fairly short and quick. I think more emotional connection could have made it better.

I recommend this book to everyone. I loved it. it wasn't too short and straight to the point. It is a nice, reverse nanny story with spice.
Mr.Nanny was a short read that felt lacking. With close to no character development it feels like pages of the book have been accidentally removed .
This is a short love story; it took me less than two hours to read it.
When Annie Wells is suddenly given a baby to care for, she doesn’t have a clue what to do. She needs someone who knows how to help. Annie turns to Caleb Nanny, hoping he can teach her how to take care of the baby that is now her responsibility. One look is all it takes for Caleb to know that Annie is a sweet, young woman. What started out as a pity job, soon turns into more, and when Caleb tells her that he loves her, he knows he’s gone too far too soon. But what will happen when Annie attempts to give him the memory of a lifetime?
This is funny, super sweet and hot. They are adorable together. Tara, the baby, is so cute. I really enjoy the way he makes her feel treasured and sexy. There are a lot of sexy times, and other enjoyable moments. There’s zero aghast or complications. Just two people falling in love with each other and a baby.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Too short. I get the appeal of wanting to create a short and sweet novella that is hot and gets straight to the good stuff but it was wayyyy to rushed for me. The pacing felt very off. There was a lot of repetition like there were multiple scenes that felt like the same thing was being said over and over. I like the premise, there just wasn't enough background or progress to make me care about the characters. The smut wasn't that good either. Left a lot to be desired.

Review: I was not expecting this book to be this short. So of course that has its pros and cons. I really enjoyed that it got to the point rather quickly and I was able to finished it in a day, but I also felt like I was missing somethings from the start I felt like I was jumping into a book in the middle of a series, I felt like they writing was suggested that you shoulda l ready know who these people where. I was also just waiting for the ball to drop on something bad to happen like usually but this didn’t really have it. Also loved the Mr nanny aspect it was kind of different
Either way it was a very easy read and fast. I’m looking forward to reading more of @authorsamcrescent
1.25/5 stars! This was a cute and steamy little NA novella. If you're looking for a simple read with little to no build-up, this book would work. This is the type of book you might enjoy if you're only looking for spice, not a plot line. There just isn't any character development and the chemistry was lacking. It was fine, but that is all,
I received an advance review copy for free through NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
This was a fun, easy to read novella. I liked that for a change the nanny was a guy and he fell first. The storyline felt fresh with a plot twist regarding the baby girl and ended with a cute HEA
Annie comes to Caleb and his Nanny business needing help when she becomes the guardian of her ex-best friend and ex's baby. Caleb normally does not nanny himself, but he is immediately attracted to her and knows he needs to help her. As he lives with her, they both develop feelings but they have both been hurt and are scared to trust.
I thought it was way too short and there was no build up. There were spicy scenes as well as an age gap, but really just too short to connect to the characters.
