An unputdownable thriller that will have you suspecting everyone!! I loved this book and didn't want it to end. Looking forward to more by Wendy Dranfield.

Didn’t really know what to expect going into this one but right away I was hooked! I liked how everything slowly unfolded and I had some suspects in my mind but was wrong about most of my predictions.
It was a real rollercoaster of emotions with how I felt with the main family of the story but was very pleased with how it ended.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It's kinda similar to a couple of books that I've read in the past but that didn't take away the fun and thrill this one had.

I would've wanted for the twists to be more unpredictable but well, we can't have everything, anyway.

You must pay attention because there is a lot going on in this one. The story intrigued me and kept me engaged But it was very convoluted

oh my goodness this was so intense and all the families were so dysfunctional. This was one I just had to read in one setting and it worked so well, I didn't know where it was going to go and who was going to be blamed.

I love reading Wendy Dranfield books, they just engulf you and take you away and you really need to know what happens. I didn't work it out I honestly though it was someone else - what a great author to enable that to happen given the number of books that I read.

I was given a free copy by netgalley and bookouture but the review is entirely my own.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

I highly recommend this book and author you will not be disappointed. This is my first read from Wendy and definitely will not be my last. This was a fast paced book filled with so many twist and turns!

I really enjoyed this book I was gripped right from the very start and it hooked me all the way through. It was twisty and kept me guessing.

Books like this is why I love Netgalley because I don’t think I would’ve read this one otherwise and now I found a new author I get to go and read more of!!

The pages practically turn themselves in this white-knuckle thriller, as the characters' relentless pursuit of truth leads to an explosive climax.

Nicole left home the moment she was old enough to and has not been back since. However, a conversation with her mother saying her younger sister, Aimee, has gone missing sends Nicole right back to where she grew up. With the return visit home brings a lot of memories of her teenage years, especially of her best friend going missing and never being found. Is the same thing happening again with her sister? Nicole was part of a foursome group of friends (including her now husband), her best friend and her best friend's boyfriend. Lucky for Nicole her best friend's boyfriend, Kurt, is now law enforcement but unlucky for Nicole her dad is still the sheriff. Nicole and her parents don't exactly get along. In fact, Nicole is fairly certain they murdered her best friend and is now worried that history is repeating itself. Can she find her sister before it's too late?

This was a fast paced book that left me questioning almost every single character. I'm fairly certain that I accused each character at least once of being responsible for the missing girls. I liked how the book was written in the way that you get little bits of information about the characters at a time from the past and the present, so you are always second guessing yourself. I love a good mystery and this definitely was one. It left me guessing right up until the end. I would definitely recommend this book. The characters were great, the chapters were not too long and the mystery was awesome.

A free book that is sure to be a bestseller!!!!! (DUH)

The Night She Vanished, was an extremely fast paced book that kept me guessing until the very end. A little less than 400 pages but I was easily able to zip through it in one sitting. It wasn't that I wanted to rush through it, I was just eager to find out if my amateur detective skills were spot on....

I failed miserably!

However, it made it all the more entertaining that I was actually stumped.

All in all this was a great book and I would highly recommend this one to the thriller book loving genre.

Nicole is desperate to find her missing sister. Old memories are drawn up. The police never found out what happened to Nicole's missing best friend. Nicole is determined to make sure her sister does not end up with the same fate.

This book definitely starts out slow. The book shifts between the present and the past, revolving around when Nicole's best friend disappeared all those years ago. I was very frustrated with Nicole. She jumped from one illogical conclusion to the next, which overall made this a frustrating read. I always find novels where you cannot connect with any of the characters difficult to read. The premise of the story was super interesting but it just did not live up to its potential.

Omg I LOVED this one.
I do have a fascination for books about missing people, and this has to be one of my faves.
The story follows the protagonist who gets asked by her estranged parents to come home because her sister has gone missing. But the relationship is odd to say the least and the parents are acting strangely...
I won't say any more for fear of spoilers, but this was a 'read in one sitting' book for sure! The plot is so fast paced, I'm still thinking about it.
Amazing.

One of my favourite tropes is a missing person. This author drew me in from the first page. The only thing disappointing was the ending. It didnt satisfy me.

This was a very fast-paced thriller that I couldn’t put down. Nicole hasn’t talked to her parents or sister in 12 years after a major falling out. Bits and pieces are slowly revealed as to what led to the estrangement. But, when she gets a phone call that her 18 yo sister has disappeared, she reluctantly returns to the town she fled with her high school sweetheart so many years before.

Told in alternating points of view and timelines, we learn that Nicole’s best friend Lori was killed when the girls were just 15. Nicole and her family are somehow connected, which led not only to their falling out, but her surety that her father, the town’s Sheriff, is to blame when her sister disappears too.

There were points early on when it seemed obvious who the try culprit was and there were hints as you read that supported my early guesses. I was mildly disappointed as I read thinking that this was too easy. But, there were numerous twists and turns that kept me guessing as I read. I did guess the ending, but not a quarter of the way through as I first expected.

This was a great read and I’d read more by this author. It didn’t get four stars from me simply because a few parts of the story, including some ridiculous points of contention (which did add to the conflict so there was a purpose, but they were pretty unrealistic) between Nicole and her parents. There also wasn’t much closure between Kurt and the connections he made, as well as the plot points with his father. Despite this, I enjoyed this book and was eager to get to the end.
