I did not like this book. So much slut shaming in just the first 18% of the book. I can see on certain parts where people might have fallen in love with the boy character (even though I also think he is a music snob), but I cannot stand the MC. Cannot continue, DNF at 18%
I enjoyed following along on Cam’s journey and then I kept reading to get answers. The story takes a turn that won’t let you put the book down.
Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
So, it only took like...forever to finally get through this. I love this couple, I really do. And I was hella excited when we were told there'd be a sequel. In fact, I was one of the many that hounded Jessica to write a sequel after I finished TEoN. Because we HAD to have more Andrew and Cam. I fell in love with Andrew, and I loved him in this book. But really...it should've stopped there. The sequel really wasn't needed and I hate that I have to say that. It saddens me. But sometimes the sequels aren't really keeping my excitement anymore. But I still enjoyed it, just not as much as TEON. That one will always be one of my all-time favorites.
However, the epilogue was pretty good. Didn't see that coming.
This novel has a few surprises along the way. Because she is unable to deal with the stresses of daily life, Cameron packs a suitcase and heads out the door. She complains about things that I find strange while on a road trip (which I like). When she complained about the food and the way some of the guys stared at her, it seemed like she was going over the top, and she feared the worst. In the moments between them, she and Andrews had the time of their lives. What are the possibilities here?
It's hard for me to turn down emotional angst, but pair it with a road trip? PLEASE. I'm glad to say that, though it was a little slow, The Edge of Never delivered with the journey that jaded Camryn and Andrew take together. The dual POVs worked very well in this book, allowing the reader to learn more about both character's fears and grow with them as they got to know one another and began allowing themselves to be vulnerable and open up to each other.
This book was requested when I was young and requested more books than I could possibly read. Sadly, I no longer have access to this book and my tastes have changed. Thus I will not be able to give feedback on this title.
I loved this young adult romance. It was a page turner and had me completely gripped. I definitely recommend this book.
This was another DNF for me. The writing drove me crazy. The characters drove me crazy. There was too much bad to continue.
Damn...no words, absolutely no words!! Sobbed and sobbed-but nothing better!! NOTHING!! These characters gripped my heart and it was in my throat throughout my entire read.
I DNF'd this book around 40%. I just wasn't connecting with the characters at all and was having a really hard time getting into the story line. I'm sorry to say this one didn't work for me.
I read this book several years ago. I loved it! It is an amazing story of two people who meet in an unusual way, each with their own baggage. They take a journey that will leave you breathless! You will laugh, you will cry and you will hold your breath! An amazing read! Jump in blind and take the ride!
I started reading this book and it didn't catch my attention for a bit but sadly I ended up DNF this book. Sorry for the late review.
Not the most compelling story I have read and not really for me
