I love the simplicity of this book. I read it with the 'help' of my granddaughter who actually was quicker than I was in finding Yaya and Boo than I was. Very sweet pics and entertaining! I would definitely recommend.
Here's a fun seek-and-find book for dog lovers.
Look for two mischievous pups and a few other objects hidden in areas inside and outside the home. It's not quite as easy as you might think, and the book should keep eager young minds engaged for a while.
Let's Find Yaya and Boo at Home is a fun picture book where the dogs are hiding and you have to find them! This was so much fun, since these two are always getting into things and sometimes it's not very easy to spot them! Great fun for your little ones!
Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review this advanced review copy (ARC) in exchange for my honest review on the book!
Who doesn't like a search and find? This book is the cutest. Adorable photos. Colorful playful hide and seek.
A beautiful children’s book!
This was so cute and fun to flick through - finding the items but especially spotting the little dog faces! Funny!
Great for any dog loving kids too!
How delightful that the tradition of Find(ing) Momo lives on through the hide-and-seek adventures of Yaya and Boo! The added element of hunting for strategically placed household items such as a mixing bowl, a rubber duck, and a watering can keeps this board book fresh and engaging!
I feel a bit silly writing any sort of critical review of a kids board book, but here I am doing that.
As a long time fan of Andrew Knapp and the Find Momo books, I was excited to see that Knapp was doing the same with his two current furry friends, Boo and Yaya. But I was disappointed. What I love about the Momo books is that he actually stayed in his hiding spot until the picture was taken. Whereas this one appears to have been photoshopped, which just loses something. It’s still a cute book, I would buy it for a young kid, because I think they would enjoy it. But as an adult, it’s just not as good as the original books.
A sweet hide and seek picture book for young children (although I enjoyed finding Yaya and Boo each time too). The photos Andrew Knapp takes are beautiful and fun and I think anyone would delight in reading this, young or old.
This was a great introduction to an I Spy book for older toddlers. It was a perfect balance of easy and difficult on each page for my 4 year old to not be frustrated when he couldn't find one of the pictures at first.
Absolutely adorable children’s search and find book. Each page shows a photo of a different room or place around the home with the reader looking for a hidden Yaya and Boo (two good dogs). There are also three other objects to find hidden on the page as well. The objects are shown by picture so non-readers are able to search. This is easily something I would purchase for a 2-5 year old assuming it is a board book and sturdy for little hands. I can see it in a pre-school or kindergarten as well. Thank you to NetGalley and Quirk Books for the temporary ARC in exchange for a voluntary review.
"Let's Find Yaya and Boo at Home!" continues Andrew Knapp's winning format that he began in the series of Momo books. This time the format is in a board book and features Andrew's dogs' Yaya and Boo. Each spread
has a colorful photo of a detailed home setting that includes the canines hidden somewhere. I know from experience that readers of all ages love to try and find the dogs on the pages. I highly recommend this book for libraries, classrooms, and homes. It can also be used to reinforce various vocabulary including color and position words.
I adore Andrew Knapp's dogs, falling in love with Momo years ago. While this book is directed for Yaya and Boo, it still has the same magic as the "Let's Find Momo" books he previously wrote.
This is a perfect addition to any library or as a gift to any young toddler.
I love the Let's Find Momo books and I'm thrilled with the latest from Andrew Knapp, Let's Find Yaya and Boo at Home! It is a seek-and-find board book that provides some challenges and lots of opportunities to find cute dogs and different objects in each scene. Don't forget to look for Scout the Bear - he's in every scene, too!
The photos have brilliant colors, reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film. The dogs are super cute and hide really well. The only complaint I have is the choice of color for the marker - orange. There's something about the style of marker that look a little like a cigarette, which I thought was odd.
I highly recommend this fun and beautiful board book!
I accessed a digital review copy of this book from the publisher.
Yaya and Boo are hidden in various places at home along with different objects. Each page asks the reader to find the dogs and three different things in the picture. While some of the objects are easy to find, others are more difficult. This is a good book for young readers.
I remember 'Let's Find Momo', and have been following Yaya and Boo's adventures so I was very happy to see this book. It's vibrant and bursting with colour and searching for them made me laugh out loud. I have a child in mind who I would love to introduce this book to.
My only niggle would be, as a phonics teacher, that the items and words chosen aren't going to be of great help to budding readers. However, this is a book to be shared and enjoyed and leave the learning for a phonics scheme book.
Thanks to Netgalley.
Very cute read fir kids and fans of the popular Yaya & Boo! I loved it and I know young readers will 2!
Another delightful seek and find from Andrew Knapp! This is a great follow up to Let's Find Momo and Let's Find Momo Outdoors, and readers will love finding Knapp's new friends. Great photos!
