Book 5 in the Tori Hunter series, a really good storyline that had you gripped from the first page to the last ! Looking forward to the next one in the series!
Fifth book in this series featuring Agent Tori Hunter. A complex and dark thriller with plenty of twists to keep you engrossed.
Another fast paced and edge of your seat thriller starring Tori Hunter.
I thoroughly enjoy this series.
This story was action packed and kept you guessing throughout. And I love seeing the development of the relationship between Tori and Braddock.
This book in the series was more interesting for me as it had a Mob element. I also liked they morally grey character Maggie. This is a series I enjoy reading and I find interesting, but it is not dark and twisty enough for me to love it. The balance between the case and the personal lives of the characters threatens to become too focused on the personal lives, but for now it is an okay balance. I do like how what is happening and what is going to happen isn’t obvious, The pacing is good and the characters continue to be likeable. Although, Tori can be a bit self righteous and cocky at times.
I love a police serial - I have a list of my favourites, and they are, for the majority strong, independent, mixed up women who tend to have really soft hearts - but I couldn’t get on with this one.
Much more of a CIA feel rather than my usual garden variety serial killers, I found it hard to relate to the characters and I didn’t find myself pining for the next one when I finished!
This is the end of the line for me and Tori Hunter.
These stories read like an action film, and that’s not much my style. This one was 30% in before we got any back story. And it turned way deeper and way darker than it needed to be. It’s in no way about the murder of a young couple, or about a deaf girl. It’s a complex web about drug dealers and assassins leading back over 10 years.
Just too much action film and not enough thriller/mystery for my liking.
Compelling and gripping I couldn't put this book down. Twisty and kept me guessing all the way through
An absolutely riveting read. From the get go, the plot and writing keep you hooked. The pace is fast enough to keep the reader turning pages. A superb read that was unputdownable.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
“The Snow Graves” by Roger Stelljes is a gripping and chilling crime thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat. The novel follows Agent Tori Hunter as she tries to solve the murder of three young people who were shot dead. With witnesses reporting seeing a black car speed away from the scene, Tori is determined to track down the killer.
Things take an unexpected turn when Tori comes across Alisha, a nine-year-old girl who is deaf and refuses to speak. Alisha’s sign language message reveals that she may have witnessed Cam and Gracie’s killer. However, things quickly escalate when Tori receives anonymous phone calls from someone claiming to know about the shooting.
Stelljes masterfully weaves together multiple plot lines, keeping readers guessing until the very end. The characters are well developed and relatable, making it easy for readers to become invested in their storylines. My only slight issue was I found that the book drags a little towards the end. However, this is overshadowed by the overall quality of the writing and storytelling.
Overall, “The Snow Graves” is an exciting addition to Stelljes’ series and will leave readers eager for more.

This was quite an action packed thriller. It opens with a murder scene, a drive by shooting of a young couple. Of course, there were many questions. Who killed the young couple and why? A devastated mother is just as eager to find answers as the detectives are.
I have read each book in this series and this installment is one of the most thrilling. The non-stop action held my attention up to the last page. I had so many questions. There was one particular, bad-ass character who I especially enjoyed. If you read the story, you will definitely know who I mean. I looked forward to chapters narrated by this characters, what a thrill!
This was yet another fast-paced, entertaining read! I can't wait for book 6 in the series.
This series is brilliant, this is another great book with gripping storyline and strong characters. I recommend this series to everyone
AWESOME police procedural with great characters & lots of suspense in a thrilling story line. RECOMMEND fully for a very satisfying read. Thanks to #NetGalley & #Bookouture for #the snow graves in return for my honest review.

Bookouture and Netgalley have provided me with a copy of Snow Graves for review:
On the snow-covered sidewalk, the young couple lies still, their gloved hands tightly linked as if they were trying to save one another. There are flashing blue lights illuminating the quiet street and drops of blood are scattered across the pure white ground...
Agent Hunter is deeply saddened by the shooting deaths of Cam and Gracie, two college students who had been dating for only a few months, just outside the home of his aunt. In this once-peaceful neighborhood, witnesses claim they saw a black car speed away, and Tori is desperately trying to locate it when she finds a nine-year-old girl seated alone on a park bench, refusing to speak. No one in this small community knows who she is... is she somehow connected to the murders?
While visiting little Alisha, Tori quickly notices that she is deaf. As she moves her hands in sign language, Tori conveys her message: We had to flee from the lady in the black car. I want to go home.
Did Alisha witness the murder of Cam and Gracie? Tori is rushing to follow her directions to a lonely cabin deep in the pine forest when she receives an anonymous call from a female voice that makes her blood run cold. “Hello, Tori. To keep Alisha safe you need to do exactly as I say…”
Is Tori speaking with the killer, or is this mysterious woman her only hope of catching the true perpetrator? In response to more phone calls, it is evident that the voice knows all about a cold case from Tori's past, and that Tori must confront this twisted mind, as well as her own darkest demons, before more innocent lives are lost.
I give Snow Graves five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
At the beginning, I was intrigued by this and interested in the characters. As I carried on reading though, I felt the story started to drag and it lost my interest.
Thank you to NetGalley the publishers for a free copy to review.
The death of two young college students is has Agent Tori Hunter upset. The two had only been dating for a few months and both were shot outside the young mans Aunts house from an apparent drive by. Witnesses saw a black car leave the scene so that is where the cops begin to look. While Tori is investigating some clues a young girl is found alone on a park bench. She won't talk to anyone and they soon realize she is deaf. Tori wonders if Alisha, the little girl, knows anything and soon learns she has some added information that will help the case. Soon Tori has to many avenues to look down but is determined to figure things out before more people end up dead. This was an exciting read.that will have you on edge until the end!
I really enjoyed this story. It was interesting getting back into the lives of the characters. I really felt for the main killer and could sense her conflict. Loved the ending totally agreed with it.
I was given a free copy by netgalley and the publishers but the review is entirely my own
would like to thank netgalley and the publishers for letting me read this book
there is a lot going on with this book.... mob killings, assassins, drugs
but the one thing that sticks out is the murder of two young people who witness something though they are not sure what and are murdered on their doorstep
what follows next is a series of murders by an assassin who was out of the game but now is back for revenge...
its not a bad storyline though there are loads of characters to get your head around but tori hunters character draws you in and i found i liked her very much
Wow! Another great Tori Hunter installment—the best one yet. I especially loved the surprising Maggie character (no spoilers!).
This was such a gritty crime novel. It starts out with a drive by shooting with two deaths and never lets up. I was on the edge of my seat. It’s a little longer than my normal crime read, but I didn’t even notice. This is a new to me author and I am not sure how I missed this series. I like Tori and Will. She’s relatable and I love that he is meticulous.
I like that we get multiple perspectives that give the reader a lot of insight into what is going on as Tori and Will work to solve the murders. It is layered with twists and turns and kept the fast pace throughout the novel. Make sure you have time to read when you start this one as you are not going to want to put it down.
I agree with the comparison to Melinda Leigh and Gregg Olsen. If you like gritty fast paced crime novels, this should be on your TBR list.
The Snow Graves is the fifth in the series featuring tough as nails agent Tori Hunter. This entry in the series delivers a thrilling suspenseful police procedural as our favorite couple try to solve a mystery which has much bigger consequences then they first realise. I'll confess I've only read the first book in this series and I found this one to be a bit more action packed than that one. Even without having read the middle few books, I found this one was easy to follow and an enjoyable read. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.
