A great starting place for anyone looking to learn more about nutrition. The book provides a concise yet thorough review of how the body works and how diet plays into the processes. The recipes seem simple and sound delicious. While not exclusively vegan, there are plenty of fully vegan recipes and noted substitutions to make others vegan.

This book was a very good resource for the person trying an immunity diet. It had a great intro and a lot of information about food and Immunity. It was very concise and easy to take in. The recipes look great, there are plenty of colour photos in the book and on the whole I really enjoyed going through it. I’ve tried two recipes and they were easy to make and were delicious. I am looking forward to making more. I would definitely buy this book for myself or a friend or family member with auto immune issues, I think it would be very helpful.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was around 3.5 stars for me.

This book has a lot of information and is surprisingly thorough. While there's a nice variety of recipes it is also frustrating to read about "detoxifying" your diet when our bodies already filter things the way they're supposed to. There are helpful recipes to reduces inflammation and there's and emphasis on making things from scratch which can be time consuming. There's also not a lot of pictures which is kind of a bummer.

I think this is a helpful book for new recipes for gut health, but nothing that I was wowed by.

An informative book about tackling diet to support the immune system. Full of useful tips and stunning photographs to tempt the reader. Being the British side of the Atlantic I did find some of the ingredients mysterious and had to look them up so would have adapt with substitutions here. I suffer from an autoimmune condition myself (RA) so found it gave me new ideas, although nightshade plants aggravate my condition so some recipes would not suit but sufferers like myself know what to avoid but I did discover one of the 'new to me' ingredients (astragalus) is not also advised for my problem. The recipes themselves looked easy to follow.

The beginning of this book was very informative with a few short chapters on the lifestyle and diet itself. I found that very helpful and to be a nice touch. The recipes that followed were organized well and looked tasty!
